I would give this no stars if it was an option. Went in on a Saturday requested to have a formal dress altered for Thursday and she stated that it was possible. Went in on Wednesday when I did not receive a phone call for them to find it hanging in the same place it was left and then was told that it was not going to be ready until Friday because it was a difficult alteration. Mind you I did not receive a phone call Monday Tuesday or Wednesday stating that it was going to be a difficult alteration. There was a clear note request it be complete by wed. If I would have known that it would not have been ready by Wednesday I would not have wanted them. The lack of professionalism is beyond me very poor customer service.

My husband and I have been getting our clothes cleaned at Alex for years here and despite the location being somewhat ‘out of the way’ we think it’s worth the drive. No complaints. Clothes smell clean and fresh, not like chemicals. And they rarely ever lose anything we leave with them. One time a belt got misplaced but they found it. And the owners are very friendly, they always greet us by name and ask us how we’re doing. Surprised to see any negative reviews about this business as that has not been our experience. We have always walked out smiling.

This place is great for when you’re in a hurry; I had to have a wool coat dry-​cleaned and no other place just happened to be open, though I had never been before I decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and helpful and they dry-​cleaned my very thick wool coat for just $ 8.00, which I thought was reasonable; they assured me that it would be done in about a day and sure enough, it was ready when I went to pick it up. Overall, a nice place to take your heavy coats or jackets to!

Very poor service. Was quoted one price then they tried to charge 25% more when I came to pick up the clothes. Then it turns out they did try removing the spot I brought the original shirt in for in the first place (although he was able to when I brought it to his attention).
Not sure what chemicals they use, but ruined an expensive suit with a sticky substance we can’t get out. When I brought it back he complained of the heat on the suit (isn’t that their process?) and said «I’ll give you your money back, that’s much easier for me» rather than fix the suit. Got $ 20 refund for ruining an expensive suit.
Do not use them without insurance.

This place is great I have taken my military uniforms and my suits and they have done magic for me without a doubt this place is a 5* place good stand up people.

Wish I could give them no stars. :(I just moved to the area and needed to get a simple hem on my dress i was going to wear to my husband homecoming from deployment. My dress was just 4 inches too long, going right below my knees, so I took it to Alex Cleaners since it was in the neighborhood. I dropped it off last Monday and showed the man where i would like it to be hemmed to and he pinned it where i said and all was good. I said «this is a very important dress, im wearing it to my husbands homecoming from afghanistan!» and the man said «ohhh! dont worry! see you friday.» I come back friday to pick it up, pay, and take it home. Im home for an hour and decide to put the dress and the rest of my outfit on, I IMMEDIATELY notice the horrible alteration job!!! One side of the dress shows my butt, the other side goes down by my knees! I start crying and my mom meets me at the cleaners to take my dress back and talk to whoever is there. The same man is there. He then goes on to not giving a flying f**k…eventually my mom got him to agree to pay for the dress, BUT he insisted on keeping the dress (im convinced he wanted to keep it to hem it shorter and turn it into a nice little top for his wife –_​_​– lol) So he says come back in 4 days and he’ll have a check ready for me. My mom went to get the check for me, shes much nicer than i would have been at the moment, and the guy spelled my name wrong and out of order on the check.
Needless to say, never EVER going back there or ever recommending this cleaners to anyone.
