I frequently stop in here on weekday mornings for coffee, and the employees at the cash register are so nice! Honestly, I prefer it to waiting fifteen minutes at the Starbucks drive through. The beer selection isn’t bad for a convenience store either!

Eh… you can find some pretty seedy characters in front of this 7 – 11 and there have been time’s I’ve decided not to get out of my car and drove home instead of purchasing anything here. The service is really awful here too. I’m sure they have to deal with a ton of chaos, but at least be nice to people who are being nice back! Not very convenient for a «convenient store».

Pretty much smack dab in the middle of Pacific Beach this seems to be the go to for people traveling between bars. Ive never had any issues in here and seem to be able to typically find what I am looking for as I am between stops hanging out on Garnett. There does seem to be some homeless people that hang out in the area so it may drive some people off. …other wise a pretty a-typical 7 – 11

I bought two packs camel crush from ducking that store, I did not pay my attention for the discount. If you get two packs, the price goes down. When I return to the store from its parking lot. The register guy told me you have to ask otherwise we do not reduce it. What a rip off…

This spot has 2 redboxes outside — the only reason I come through, unless my wife wants some candy. The place is a little dirty and the homeless are always hanging around, but the clerks always seem to be cheerful.

Always long lines and only 1 worker, dudes at night around 1am are very rude and constantly changing the rules on purchases of alcohol. I would avoid this place at all costs

I go to 7 – 11 pretty often, I go thru a lot of them in PB. The staff at this one is probably the nicest. Other than that, its your basic 7 – 11. Slurpee it up!

I used to go here a lot and the staff was generally cool, everyone except this one guy. This one older black dude with gray hair. Always gave me shit, even when I was buying a Gatorade. The guy is just straight up mean and needs anger management. Here is a quick story about one of my visits with this lovely gentleman: I went in to buy a 30 pack with my friend around 8 o’clock at night. I’m 26 and he’s pushing 30. My friend goes to look around and I bring the beer to the counter. This cashier asks me for ID and I show it to him and he scans it and asks my birthday(whatever some people are over cautious, no big deal) but then asks for my friends ID. Mind you he was no where near the counter, didn’t touch the beer and wasn’t paying for it. My friend replies that he doesn’t have it on him, he didn’t bring his wallet cause he wasn’t buying the beer. The schmuck yells at me and tells me that i need to tell my friend that since he doesn’t have ID that he has to stand outside while I purchase the beer. I need to tell him? And I mean he yelled like only an old angry man could yell. The kind of yell with authority in the voice that would make any youngin’ jump in his boots for fear of getting a belt across the backside. My friend hears it and literally throws up his hands proclaiming that he’s leaving immediately. No doubt cause like me he heard the malice in this angry old mans voice. I’m wasn’t even phased by all this until he looks me up and down and tells me sternly that the next time I want to buy beer at 7 – 11 that everybody I’m with better have their ID on them or else. I told him to shove it where the sun don’t shine and left with my beer in one hand and my middle finger up in the other as far as it could go. That was probably the 3rd or 4th encounter with that grumpy old ass and last one I will hopefully have forever. I used to use this place, but now avoid it whether or not that old angry man is in there. Guy just doesn’t know how to treat people. I’ve heard him give shit to other people when I’m in there. He is upset about something all the time. There might be better deals elsewhere, but even if there aren’t better deals, I’ve gotten to the point where I’d rather support local shops than franchises with absent owners just raking in our hard earned mullah by hiring pissed off minimum wage dickheads like this guy. To summarize: This 7 – 11 sucks.

Tried to buy beer and presented my military ID but the clerk would take it. I’m 50 years old and retired military but couldn’t buy beer!

I go here every day so I can’t hate, but the one on Mission has Java Monsters and not the $ more, half-as-good Starbucks kind. I’ll get some Swedish Fish tho quite often. Convenient if walking to a bar in PB and u need cigs or candy or smthg.

F.Y.I: Need a Redbox? Well this 7 – 11 has one and its located right in the center of Garnet in PB. Unfortunately its always busy and you’ll be standing in line to wait for your turn to pick a movie longer than you would waiting to get into one of the bars in PB. The homeless guy thats usually sitting outside the store is really nice… He may be actually friendlier than the workers inside. Honestly, I only go here to rent movies or to eat next door at Basil Thai Kitchen. If you’re walking in PB and need a quick drink, ice cream, a snack to munch on or even a lotto ticket then stop on by! Later Unilocalers… Remember to Unilocal Responsibly :)

Not all 7 – 11’s are created equal. Was in here on Sunday and the staff was less than pleasant. I get you have to deal with drunk college kids all day and I’m really sorry about that, but I’m not one of them. 7 – 11 n Cass in N PB is stellar though.

I shop here often even though the selection is pretty pathetic, but this 7-Eleven is located steps from the bars, so yeah, I shop here often and many party animals do too. I remember on Fourth of July, the line to this place was around the block because this is a pit stop for people to get their pre-bar beverages and their night’s supply of ciggies. But ladies beware, if you go here in your PJs, you might stand out because the PB party girls come here all the time in their going-out gear. Apparently, in PB it is important to look cute wherever you go, even if it is 7-Eleven.
