I used to love going to this Peet’s when I lived in San Clemente. But the past year or two, my experiences have been mediocre so I found myself going to El Toro or Ocean Ranch more often just because I enjoyed interacting with the employees better. However, the last couple months have changed my mind. And today was the best customer service I’ve ever received from ANY coffee shop.
I wished I remembered the name of the man who took my order because he actually walked outside and personally delivered our lattes to us. Loved the service so much that I walked back in and ordered a couple more coffees to bring back to my coworkers. He even informed us of the new app that is coming out later this year which made me more stoked!

Bummed to see a few of the low-​star ratings because I love this place! The staff is always cheerful and super diligent about getting orders completed quickly and accurately. On occasion, if I say I’ll be staying in for a bit, they’ll bring over my coffee in a mug – making me feel super welcomed. And the coffee is always tasty – never bitter or burnt. Sometimes wifi is spotty; but it is free and unlimited, so I can’t complain.
My one dislike about this location is that there are cigar smokers who like to camp out right outside in the patio. I don’t know if there’s anything they can do about that, but it always gives me an immediate headache.

Love the location.. . But whenever I order my drink (I like iced Café Americano with little water and extra ice), they cannot seem to get it right. When I ask them to adjust it, I get total annoyed baristas telling me that it’s my fault for not ordering it the right way. Great coffee and great location.. . Just wish they’d have better customer service.

That ‘passive aggressive with a smile on your face’ service that consumers can so easily read and so readily loathe. The staff seemed to have better things to do. And what kind of breakfast/​coffee locale doesn’t have a toaster/​warmer or butter for the bread? Odd…

They open a little later than posted, which is a problem if you want early morning coffee. For my taste, I like Starbucks coffee a little better than Peet’s, but Peet’s used to have the better tea. As Starbucks just recently bought Teavana, I have to say that Starbucks wins in this category as well.

This is the best location for Peets Coffee! Everyone is super friendly and knows you by the name. Black Tie and Maple Latte is must try! Bakery items are also yummy :) I go here almost everyday and I am always delighted with every visit!

They are not open till the time posted and are unapologetic about it. Their door was closed as I pulled on it and the girls came out and said «we closed early tonight. Inventory» with a smug look as they sipped their beverage. It’s 7:27 and sign says 8. Check ya. Won’t come back.

They are so nice here I love the reggae pizza dude! THE young ladies are so helpful and do a wonderful job. I wish my sons were young again so we could bring their teams here! MAYBE GRAND KIDS SOME DAY! GO Angels and Ducks!

Always blow Starbucks out of the water very clean Pete’s location very conveniently located in the Talegashopping center i’m originally from the bay area in this Pete’s is a close reminder to the original the breeze does are very professional and always have fun faxed share every day and are always nice and the place is great

Peet’s has the best coffee compared to Starcrap and Coffee Bean. So glad there’s one in SC. Even through this location is a bit further than I want to drive for fresh gourmet coffee, I make the trip multiple times a week anyway. In addition to their coffee, the fruit tarts are amazing. My only problem is that they make their Arnold Palmers (ice tea lemonaide) too sweet.

I love Peet’s! Rich coffee, and delicious Freddo’s (their version of a frappachino) which is sweet and creamy. The people who work here are friendly and are always smiling. They have a great outdoor seating area, and the location is in a little quiet shopping center right by Talega.

Clean friendly, great outside seating, free wifi! Nice organic options for snacks! This place is great! My only complaint, being that I’m often working on the road is that the music tends to be a little too loud to make a few phone calls inside. Bummer… Maybe it’s just today, other day’s have been perfect! Great stop if you’re up in Talega and looking for a coffee!

Yes, I drove 15 miles out of my way just to hit up the closest Peet’s. This spot is in a little mini-​mall located in suburbia heaven or hell, depending on your frame of reference.
And I will keep repeating this as long as I live: Peet’s coffee is 50 times smoother than that burnt stuff served up by that massive coffee chain we all are familar with. The music at this location was low key, the staff was friendly and happy, and the interior was clean and spacious. They have a nice patio, too, although it overlooks the parking area.
We don’t live in a fair or rational world but if we did, Peet’s would be on every corner instead of that other coffee chain.
