Gary seems like an honest, knowledgeable, friendly person.
Last week he gave me advice over the phone on tricks for getting my very large couch through my apartment door. He even let me bring the couch to his shop to give me advice on how to disassemble it. When I left he gave me free tacks and fabric fasteners. I didn’t have any money in my wallet at the time and he, in fact, insisted that I NOT pay him. Nice guy!

Gary, at Old World Interiors, provides superior reupholstery services, as well as making high quality cushions and pillows. In addition to doing great work, Gary will make every effort to provide fast turnaround when needed. He works with many of the high end interior designers in the area, but at the same time he’s quite happy to see the rest of us come through his doors. He’s saved me from making several costly mistakes, and he always calls when he has a question (rather than taking the easier route of plowing ahead based on assumptions). I’ve had him re-​upholster chairs he did for me years ago, and I always feel a little guilty because the upholstery is still in perfect condition, it’s just that I’ve become tired of the fabric. So if you’ve inherited a great quality sofa, or found one at auction, take it to Gary and he’ll bring it back to life.
