I have been going to Eleen’s Salon since September 2015 and love it. Eleen does a great job in understanding what you want, and working to make sure you are satisfied. She is a thorough professional, and is very courteous and accommodating of your schedule.
The ambiance is OK but then you are also paying only $ 20 for a men’s hair cut so can’t beat that. Before I came here I tried a few different hair salons in the neighborhood most of them charging north of $ 40 but while the ambiance was great, the hair cuts left a lot to be desired.

I love Eleen’s shop. Eleen gives a great haircut for a great price, and it has always been easy to schedule an appointment with her. Moreover, the salon is clean and the staff friendly. Finally Eleen also has a great love of life and reliably puts a smile on my face with the stories she tells.

My husband went to get his hair cut here after reading some of the reviews, PLUS this place is open on Sunday! We walked right in Sunday morning to find no wait time and were pleased to be helped so quickly. Eleen didn’t work on my husband’s hair, Annie did. Annie was incredibly professional and cut his hair better than I have ever seen it. He looked incredible afterwards. She even showed him how to style it a little differently. The cut took about 25 minutes and was only $ 20 (without tip). We will be frequently coming here for haircuts. I can’t comment on women’s haircuts, but Eleen did a dry cut to a women while I was there and it looked good.

I went in with the positive mindset, thinking this was going to be a good location based on the reviews I read on Unilocal.I was seen as soon as I got in which was good but I explained to the lady what I wanted done to my hair, I told her I only wanted a half an inch cut off and a little bit of layer on the very front bangs area. She cut two inches off all of my hair, and extended the layers about halfway around my head. Once I was done I went to pay thinking this is going to be a reasonably priced hair salon, I was wrong I ended up paying $ 32 for a hairstyles I didn’t even want.

I love Eileen. I’m from SoCal and am used to pay $ 6.50 for a haircut, but the $ 20 haircut is definitely worth it. Older Chinese lady that cuts your hair perfectly and gives you suggestions on how to style, I’ll be coming every 6 weeks

First time there today with the kids. She (Eleen) cut all 3 of our hairs and I am very happy with it. She is very nice and willing to listen to what you want to do while giving suggestions. The price is very inexpensive. I enjoy talking to her as she is very friendly.

Eleven is so nice, and such fun to talk to! She also cuts hair well, which I guess is all that matters! You can tell she’s been in the business of cutting hair for a while now, as she’s so precise! This place is awesome because you can just walk in. Might wanna call ahead anyway because she is pretty popular and gets alot of appointments.
She is in charge of alot of other salons in the bay area and doesn’t accept any walk ins and there’s along list of reservations so this gem of a salon we are sure lucky to have here in San Carlos.
She’s definitely a pro at what she does .
I like how I don’t even need to tell her details bout what I need done an guide her. SHe knows exactly how I’d look good and knows what to do.
She knows how its done and what style looks best.
She’s hip and great to conversate with.
Haircut price is real fair too, great low price and a million dollar looking haircut.
