I went in to have lunch and order off the dinner menu I was sat near a person who had their speakerphone going full blast. I brought this up to my server who refused to do anything about it they did put me in a different seat. I ordered the coconut shrimp as planned and it was somewhat over cooked. I ordered scallops as a side and they were just OK really no flavor. When I placed my order I asked that my baked potato and my dessert both be packaged to go. When I got home I found a baked potato was just some little scrawny thing with no sour cream and butter. I had asked for both. The brownie which was supposed to be for dessert was something out of a box and I know that because I fix that myself. I know it was Lucky’s store-brand they are right across the street.

Went to Red Lobster tonite. Very crowded, very popular place. Was seated after 30 minutes. Our waitress was super nice. Her name was Sara. She took care of all our needs. We had a party of six. We had the Admiral feast, sampler, fish and chips, fish tacos, clam chowder soup, Caesar salads. Everything was perfect. Could not have had a better dinner. Thanks again to our waitress Sara for a amazing experience.

Mussels are delicious. Clam chowder had too much sand. And the entrée brought the ocean experience to life with the idea of being in the ocean salty sea water in your mouth. Hopefully you ask for extra water and a bucket because you have to chew, rinse, and then spit. Ride of your life adventure type of restaurant.

Cajun Chicken linguine was not spicy enough… but good. Place was too noisy and dark.

My partner and I were craving seafood after a trip to Pacifica, and Red Lobster was still open(it was around 2100 when we decided to eat). We were seated quickly and our server was with us in moments. She and the manager went out of their way for the entire visit to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed. I had the snow crab, and my partner had a seafood sampler. Both meals were huge, and with the addition of the rolls(yum!) we didn’t need an appetizer. Frankly, I was pleasantly stuffed by the end with rich seafood. We will be back. The food was easily worth the price, and the service made the entire experience memorable.

I totally agree with the salty part. I should’ve listened. Super salty for my lobster and rice. I also had a piece of super hard cheese(according to the manager) with a sharp point that cut my mouth. The manager didn’t show up for ten minutes and then when he showed up. He gave me a none sincere apology. Would never go back again.

Absolutely garbage. Placed an order to-go. Every order was wrong. Garbage, literally garbage was in one person’s order. Another order of soup had a lid of a different size container in it. How does this even happen? Threw out the food and ordered a pizza instead. Not worth the drive back. Absolutely disgusting. I seriously don’t get how it’s possible to serve food like this. NEVEREATHERE!!! Waste all sorts of time.

As an east-coast gal by birth, chain restaurants have a special place in my heart. We aren’t always blessed to have such a high percentage of fresh and organic places as they have out here, so we go to the next best thing. But I should have known something was up when my partner wrinkled his face in disdain at my choice(especially since we were breaking our fast for food and this was my recommendation). Red Lobster on the east coast is relatively delicious, with nicely-sized cheddar bay biscuits and fresh seafood options. This on the other hand, is nothing short of an imposter! The biscuits were small. I mean, like way small. But it’s ok, I can get over that small annoyance. When they brought us our bread basket, some of the biscuits were broken, but it really looked like someone else had been munching on that basket and didn’t quite finish(a little gross, but I was starving and we’d been waiting for our food so I needed something). We ordered several appetizers as well, including some popcorn shrimp and this new shrimp lettuce wrap. Both were fine, but the shrimp in the lettuce wrap dish didn’t seem to be cooked all the way(that or some of the sauce didn’t reach some of them). Either way, I was able to tell that the shrimp hadn’t been cleaned(I could see the poop line). We also ordered salad and clam chowder. Salad was fine, but the clam chowder had a hair in it. We ended up getting another one(on the house), so that was great customer service(the manager even came over to apologize, so kudos for putting customer first). I got a «you pick two» option and chose the seafood-stuff sole and snow crab legs. The seafood-stuffed sole wasn’t bad, but the snow crab legs were rubbery, as if they have been frosted, defrosted and then steamed. It took awhile to try and break them and the meat wasn’t as fresh as I’m used to. On the other hand, my partner opted for the New Orleans salmon, which was fresh and cooked to perfection. Despite some challenges, I’m still giving this tree stars, and mainly for customer service. I think that some of these food issues may be out of their control(unfortunately), but they do try and provide a good experience. Will I come back? Possibly, if I’m desperate for a seafood hankering and haven’t found another place(or red lobster location) to satisfy my seafood monster. Not a bad place to check out, but if you ask if the dish is fresh and ask for two baskets of cheddar bay biscuits, you should be fine. Likes: –convenient location –customer service –relatively affordable Dislikes: –sub-par seafood(in my opinion. It’s just not all fresh!) –small cheddar bay biscuits(make sure they are fresh!)

Ordered the Admiral’s Feast, Seaside Shrimp Trio w/Asparagus, and a Calamari side. The Admirals feast was a fully deep fried dish with shrimp, scallops, clam strips, and flounder but it didn’t embrace the taste of seafood but rather lots of flour. Seaside Shrimp Trio was another round of fried shrimp, garlic shrimp, and a shrimp linguini Alfredo. The garlic shrimp is considerably smaller than all of the other shrimps but flavorful and linguini was quite nice. The calamari is unseasoned with sauces on the side plated with deep fried broccoli. However, this plate was as huge as an entrée; the portion size for the appetizer was ridiculous. Our server, Mark P., was attentive and responsive to our needs. He quickly brought the biscuits, water, and salad. Very respectful to the end and he even bagged our leftovers for takeout. It could be nice if he warned us about the portion sizes though.

Friends love this spot… especially after catching a flick at the mall across the way. Has its own parking are in the complex. Wait time can still be long even on a weekday. Food comes out in fairly sized portions and quality is standard for a chain restaurant. By this, I mean don’t get your hopes incredibly high. They offer unlimited freshly baked biscuits w/the meal. Seafood and pastas as well as burgers and fish items to choose from. Undecided? You can do a 3 course for around $ 18? Skip scallop items as they are always guaranteed to be overdone and rubbery.

Mm. I’ve never had Red Lobster before but if this is what lobster tastes like I hope I’ll be back soon. Ordered the lobster tacos since that was the closest I was gonna get to trying lobster without breaking the bank. Three tacos and rice for $ 13.99 is not too shabby. Plus all the free cheese biscuits. The salads weren’t too good since they use iceberg lettuce but the tacos more than made up for it. Good service and pretty quick as well. 4.5 stars but I’ll be nice and round up.

Can’t believe they let someone bring in a non service dog into the restaurant. Moreover those people working as hostesses at the front desk could care less despite how many of the staff I told about the dog. Wanna know how else they could care less? Someone literally fainted not once but twice near where they were standing and it took me telling them to call 911 Unbelievable. 5 – 6 people/staff just hanging around the front desk with nothing better to do on such a busy day. Too many workers and they can’t even clean the floor. SMH. What happened to the quality of people they hire at this place! Go elsewhere. The food is good but NOT worth dealing with such poor service.

Alright so Red Lobster has always existed in my mind as a low-brow place to dine given that the chain extends literally from coast to coast with season-less Lobster and other crustaceans of the like. I will admit I was seated with the preconceived hunch that each menu item was going to be delivered to the table tainted with the taste of freezer burn but that was not at all the case. A few of my reservations started to temporarily fade away as I looked into some blogs written about the infamous Lobster Fest, and Unlimited Shrimp seasonal specials that occur once a year. The service was excellent, our waitress did not miss a beat every time a plate needed to be cleared, and every time the volume of our beverages descended below the midpoint of the glass. AND, they definitely try to keep you full with their house items. I already went in knowing this was a trap, but i definitely surrendered myself to the buttery flakiness of their cheesy biscuits. For my main I had the dual-lobster tails which were perfectly cooked, I was only able to finish one tail as I was so stuffed from the sides. But it was just as delicious the next day.

5 stars because of the awesome service. It was my second time here in about 10 years. I wasn’t avoiding this place for any reason, it’s just I don’t usually think to go to Red Lobster for dinner. So I was here because of a small family gathering(my mom chose the restaurant). The wait was about 20 minutes at around 630 on a Saturday night. The food came out very quickly, and it was pretty good considering it is a chain restaurant. Of course the biscuits were a highlight. I ordered the dueling lobster tails plate which came with a side garden salad. The lobster was flavorful/wasn’t rubbery at all, and the Mac and cheese/potatoes/haricot verts were all prepared nicely. What made this place great was our attentive and wonderfully friendly server. His name was Mark, and he was extremely patient with our party of 5. It was fairly hectic for a Saturday night, so we expected to be rushed into ordering. He didn’t rush us a bit, and took the time to explain everything clearly to us. It was quite a change of pace versus other servers who are just trying to get your order in. He was smiling the entire night and was checking up on us to see how our dinner was. We also had some special requests(dressing on the side, special drinks, etc.) which he easily accommodated. The food was fine, but he made it an awesome experience.

I think this is the second time I’ve been here… Somewhere in between from the first time and the second time, we left because it was super packed. They have revamped their menu, they even have 4 course meals for $ 17.99, so worth it!!! Mon to thurs only. I ordered the clam chowder soup, Cole slaw, Cajun chicken pasta and had a brownie Ala mode… my friend had the same thing but it was shrimp pasta and Ceasar salad. We had an unlimited supply of their famous cheddar biscuit(which I heard you can buy at safeway now) and we were stuffed with bread and soup. I managed to not eat all my food and save it for lunch the next day Our waiter was really nice and let us eat our ice cream and packed up the brownie, so we decided to give him a little more tip. Their menu is little confusing since there were so many dishes packed into it. I would come back!

Got the fries and beer while my friend got the salmon meal. Overall a pretty normal Red Lobsters. The staff are nice, but often take a while to notice you – perhaps it’s due to the extremely dim lighting inside. They give you these nice biscuits at the beginning that are served hot, which is nice. The prices are not cheap – basically what you’d expect at a Red Lobster Pretty average Red Lobster

Endless shrimp!!! Came here on a Friday for lunch with my coworkers to enjoy their endless shrimp. I love their shrimp scampi! Service was great despite us being a large party and everyone having endless shrimps. Just imagine the number of plates they had to serve: p However, food service became slower and slower towards the end. I think they were trying to make us stop eating :(

I can’t say that I’m a huge fan of Red Lobster, but I love their cheddar bay biscuits. Now with that being said this location in particular doesn’t give its guest the best offering of what this franchise can offer its patrons. For example we walked in during lunch time at 1pm. My wife and I waited over 5mins for the hostess to walk up and welcome us to then walk us to a table. Thinking the Resturant must’ve been full because of the lunch time rush. We were upset to see that it was mostly empty and not even a quarter of the Restuarant was being used. So after sitting down it took over ten minutes for a waiter to come and ask us if we even wanted water. Really?! How is it that a Resturant is almost empty and it still takes forever to get service? Well when we finally ordered our meals, we ordered the four course meal feast. We were treated to Cesar salad, with croutons that were extremely hard. Each bite felt like it could chip my tooth. The salad had almost no salad dressing on it, but lucky it was small. Then I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta Alfredo, while my wife had the shrimp and scallop Alfredo. Both dishes were a good size and tasted pretty tasty. It’s not the best pasta we’ve ever had but it’s Red Lobster not a high end Resturant. The meal also came with a loaded potato soup, which we enjoyed as well as a triple chocolate brownie for desert. I love brownies but my wife wanted something different. So she had the Carmel cheese cake to satisfy her sweet tooth. Both were moist and very flavorful. So I was happy that the dessert wasn’t to rich, which is a very common theme for Resturant deserts nowadays. Overall, The Resturant itself is so dark and very poorly lit. The décor is really outdated and is covered with sailing motif. It looks like a Resturant from the 80’s but I’m sure they don’t mind as long as their making money. The service is terrible and definitely takes away from some of the delicious meals they have on the menus. Although it’s not the best place to eat there are some standouts. I suggest you stick to the pastas, shrimp plates or the seafood dishes. Some helpful advice for the managers here at this location. Make sure you’re staff is always on point at all times, even if they think it could be slow because you never know who will be walking in for a bite.
