Update. Today…3−8 – 16. Met the new owners. I had business in the area and stuck my head in and asked if the Asian owner was still around. I was told that it was bought by these wonderful people… greeting me very nice. I ordered two Philly steak combos… that were delicious. The new owners were very friendly and encouraged me to take pictures and spread the word about the cleanliness and new atmosphere as well as good food. I am in agreement.

I stumbled into this place one day waiting for my Wife to finish her appointment with the Con-Artists across the street at Western Dental. Since then I have come here a few times over the last few months. The place is run-down looking and located right on the track. The smells that emanate from here lured me in. I’m glad because this place is an uncut zirconia in the rough. Every time I’ve come here I have gotten a Whatta-Steak Sandwich, AND a Philly CheeseSteak. Then my oldest Son Xavier and I split them, since we both want both. The Whatta Steak is very very tasty, sliced steak with light Teriyaki sauce, grilled onions, and cheese in it served sub style. Delicious, but small for what you pay for. The Philly CheeseSteak is almost the same thing, minus the teriyaki; but plus green peppers, lettuce, and tomato. These sandwiches are VERY good, but once again quite small. The Cheeseburgers here are fantastic! Had a Double Bacon Cheeseburger here once and it definitely satisfied my craving for a gooey, cheesy, tasty burger with thick bacon. A fantastic burger, much better than you would expect from this place! Premium pickles, lots of onion, great cheese! Just a great, well-put-together burger. The fries here are ok. Thin so they cool off too quickly. Got some good flavor though. The Onion Rings are also OK. Standard processed fare. I have asked some of the locals what they like here while waiting for my food, and one answer is constant. The Teriyaki Bowls. They have been recommended to me by a few people, so I need to try them one of these days. The inside and outside of this place match the neighborhood, sort of run down and ghetto. But as long as they crank out good food, I will keep returning. The Owner and staff have been nothing but kind and friendly to me and my Family every time we have been. Spend your money in the ‘hood, where your love is understood!

This has become one of my favorite places to eat. I really recommend the chicken teriyaki bowl. In the past I would go to Jack In The Box to get a chicken bowl but after being introduced to this place it is hard to go back to a fast food place. The food has a high quality taste and is cooked with somewhat of a Mongolian BBQ technique which makes it tasty. I have also tried the Philly Steak sandwich along with their signature Whatta Steak sandwich and they are both extremely tasty. It is located right next door to the San Bernardino Adult School and the satellite station for the San Bernardino Police Dept. I recommend it to anyone, it is an extremely good place to eat and not at all disgusting or dangerous.
