I went because I had. a groupon. I arrived before my friend did, so I was checking this little place out. I’m happy to report that it was nice, and cool in there, now hold on because that’s about the only good thing I can say about this place. I asked to see a menu, the chubby guy behind the counter that talks down to women handed me one. First of all, I’m not your sweetheart, nor any of the other adjectives you tried to use. Anyway, let’s get to his charming NOT attitude. Me being a first. And last time customer there I had questions. Me, being the charming person that I am, I tried to be nice to this guy. I asked about his chili verde, he looked at me like I was some form of alien, and said,” it’s spicy” ok, spicy I like. My friend ordered enchiladas. Because we had a groupon, and the bill came to $ 19.67, he said I had to order it up to $ 20.00 so that I can pay the tax on $ 20.00. I asked if his salsa was chunky or more like chili, again the deer in the headlights look. He said, «do you want it or not?» Now, anyone that knows me, knows at this point I was biting my tongue. I thought I was making my own tacos el lengua at this point. This man is horrible. I would never ever go back, and I will be calling groupon to let them know what a BURRO he was!!! The food was sub par! I’m a huge mexican food fan. If you want to feel like a piece of meat, then go here. Eww I felt grimy when I left.

Hole in the wall restaurant, very expensive for the quality of the food. I ordered the Lengua torta, it wasn’t disgusting but not good either, the meat had no flavor and the bread was soaked and mushy. My husband ordered a combination plate with sopes but was only served one had to go back to the counter and correct the order. I will not be coming back to this place.

Second time here still great but didn’t like that I had to carry a tray full of food to my table. I’m not a waitress & that was scary trying to balance it all especially when there was a huge shrimp cocktail on the tray amongst other things. Tried the fish taco it was ok but the sauce was similar to thousand island not the usual white sauce so it was just ok. Carnitas taco I asked for crispy was good. Friend had the chicken tacos and said they were good. We also had more shrimp seviche & a large shrimp cocktail both were great once I added the lime & hot sauce. If they had better service id do 5 stars but I hated having to get up to ask for everything and not having a waitress we still left a tip but why if we have to carry everything & go ask for anything we need such as limes salsas. Etc.

I feel so bad for giving these guys a bad review because the owner’s son was super nice to me. Anyway, I had a Groupon for this place. I went on the 8th and there was a sign on the door that they were closed until the 10th. That was inconvenient but whatever, so I went on the 10th. I ordered 2 carne asada wet burritos with cheese inside, pork Chile Verde fries, and a chicken taco. That was $ 25+. The burritos were a decent size but not $ 8 worth. More like $ 7 with the wet sauce and such. The pork fries were to be expected for the price and so was the taco. Ok, so the taste of the food. Sigh… I really don’t want to do this but i really try to be honest with my reviews. The burrito was really bad. The combination of wet sauce, sour cream, and guac on the outside was bad. I wasn’t sure what exactly was making it taste so bad or if it was a combination. In addition to that, I don’t think what’s on the outside of the burrito should really count as cheese, sour cream, or guac, because it’s so thin and liquidy on top of there not being much on there. The inside of the burrito was dry and I’m sure I was tasting mostly rice and very little meat. I honestly had less than a quarter of the burrito before I tossed it. My son didn’t think the burrito was horrific but he also is 20 yrs old and eats anything especially if he doesn’t have to pay for it. The pork fries would have been good if I could handle the level of spiciness but they were too hot for me. If you like very spicy then they would be good. The meet was moist and the green sauce had a good flavor. As for the taco, my daughter took a few bites and chose not to eat it anymore. She said«it’s nasty,» but my cat and I both thought the chicken tastes acceptable. Bottom line, I’m a burrito person and if i don’t like your burritos I can’t return so unfortunately this is not the place for me. Like I said, the owner’s son was very very nice and pleasant to talk to and the fries were decent… Chicken was kind of ok, but there wasn’t one part of the burrito that was acceptable so I can’t give them more than 2 stars.

Had the carnitas tacos, chicken enchiladas, rice, beans, and burritos. Loved them all. And very good service. Green hit sauce is tasty and spicy. Would return.

The best Carne asada torta in town service was fast and people are friendly. I also tried the pastor torta and it is a tie between asada and pastor will be stopping more often for lunch.

Went to check this place out, ordered Green chily pork fries, they were tasty, the meat was tasty. My wife had the carne asada taco and mulita with adovada, she was content with the flavor of the carne asada. I also had a combination carne asada burrito. Overall the food had a good flavor! Ohh by the way they sell alcoholic beverages, just in case its Friday and your in dyering need of spirits!

Gave this place a 1 star because my soda was the best Hecho in Mexico! Probably the only authentic mexican thing they sale. First and last time here. I tried the chicken, asada and carnitas tacos. They were all pretty bad. Asada was not quality meat all fat, chicken was per-cooked they put it on the grill with some oil it was dry and overcooked, carnitas were dry and all the meats had no flavor. I was disappointed in the stars it has. This place will not last.

Arandas is a great little mexican restaurant. The owner/manager is always there & is super nice as well as the cooks. The place offers fast service & the place is kept clean. I’ve been to this place many times & have enjoyed my food every time. Their food is full of fresh flavors(especially thier chile verde pork fries!!!) & is authentic mexican food. If you’re ever in the area def give this little place a try!

Best Mexican food in this area. Considering I am Mexican, I’m very picky about Mexican restaurants. The good here is to die for. The portions are generous and fairly inexpensive. It is a hole in the wall but in my opinion those make the better restaurants. Good service, always clean, freshly made, and delicious!

My favorite Mexican food spot in the area– better than rest of the same type of Mexican food places in the area that I have tried(Amapola Rico Tacos, Alberto’s, El Ranchero and Cuca’s). My first time there, the man behind the counter asked what I would and I told him nachos(which was not on the menu) and he said he could make me some… they were great — carme asada, refried beans, cheese, sour cream and pico de gallo — I’ve been back a few times for them.

This restaurant has spoiled me so much that I cannot eat a burrito anywhere else and feel the same sense of satisfaction. Both my tastebuds and wallet are happy when I leave here. The family is also quite gracious. Don’t miss out on the best horchata. Cash only.
