The food was so tasty and we’ll made and for such a good price.
We had the garbage burrito it had so much flavor in every bite
The Carne asada fries the fries were not too hard or too soft they were perfect texture with very well flavored Carne asada. Perfect amount of sour cream and guacamole and cheese also had onion and cilantro so flavorful.
My kids had tacos and cheese quesadilla which were also very tasty.
I definitely would send anyone here if they want some bomb authentic Mexican grill food

Love it! Always have their al pastor three taco plate special and its delicious :) Their carne asada fries are the devil! They’re so good!

So I had a taco craving & since I’m new to this neighborhood I decided to look up a local taco place & then I found Taco Shop! Wow am I thrilled to have found this place, the employees here are so friendly & make you feel welcomed. First impression & service is what seals the deal for me. But the real test was the food. which was amazing & authentic! We got carne asada tacos, a sope & a burrito which all were amazing! It ranked no. 1 amongst 2 of our regular faves! We will definitely be coming back again! :)

Charming setting? Safe and clean neighborhood? Ample parking? Only the last choice is correct. Despite being in one of San Bernardino’s most burnt and run-​down areas, Taco Shop is a typical hole-​in-​the-​wall Mexican joint where food is prepared fresh daily and to order.
I often overlooked this option since it is slightly off the beaten path, but I used to go there years ago. Then, sometime last year I dropped in for a carne asada burrito. I remember it taking a little over 10-​minutes to prepare, and upon sitting down at a table I glanced down and saw a giant dead roach, belly up. Oh well I thought, I’ve worked in restaurants before and I can assure you that one dead roach is nothing. Undeterred I ate and thoroughly enjoyed the burrito, and loved the spicy red hot sauce.
My two recent visits prompted me to review the place because of the fine quality, value, taste and options for the breakfast burrito offered for $ 4.99. Chorizo and steak are but two options, and my current favorites. Two eggs, cheese, hash browns, meat, and that fantastic spicy salsa you add yourself. I felt full enough for hours afterwards, and the large size and fresh to order service will definitely bring me back.
Tacos next time. Their carne asada fries look mighty tasty too. Another family owned Mexican restaurant that’s worth supporting! They proudly display a letter from Unilocal proclaiming their awesomeness!!! I agree.

I was so surprised by this place! It’s a whole in the wall joint that is family owned and ran! I came in on a Friday at noon and it was packed. It’s super small in there, probably about 7 tables. Regardless there was a line and people coming in and out with their To go orders. We ordered and waited for about 20 mins and were not disappointed. The food is delicious! I had a carnitas torta which was perfect and my husband had the birria and it was so delicious! If you let the shopping center it’s in turn you off you will definitely miss out on good authentic Mexican food. We will definitely be back soon!

I love this place! The service is great and the food is pretty delicious! It is always packed so make sure to place an order before you come in, that’s what I do.

Food is fantastic, never a disappointment! Employees are friendly, reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the cleanliness… flies flying around and its kind of musty inside. Clean up and and ventilate a little better and the fifth star is yours.

This place is excellent but for some reason for the past week they’ve been closed. I’m really sad to see that this place is closed right now I hope everything is okay as far as the employee’s health. We need you guys… maybe they are just taking a well deserved vacation.

This place is small. About 10 tables. The place is packed with people either eating in and for takeout. The food is very fresh and made to order. The kitchen is wide open so I can see that they are making it to order. Chiliquiles verdes are so good. Spicy with lots of sauce and cheese. Menudo is so go hot and fresh and flavorful. Anything you order here is great. Great prices for the amount of food you get.
It is nice to go to a restaurant that hasn’t fallen into the greedy franchise and corporate dining bs!

Wow! That’s all I can say. Their carne asada is bomb. Had it on their carne asada fries and street tacos. The cashier lady is so nice and just lovable. So recommend this place. This is going to be so hard to not come here every day.

Hole in the wall Taqueria. Food was pretty good. It was about as clean at these kind of places come. Prices were fair for the amount of food. But, NO chips? Kinda weird. Don’t know if I have ever been to a taqueria where chips are not included.

I’ve personally had better carne asada burritos. The rice was hard and there was an excessive amount of cheese. The meat had an odd taste and it’s supposed to be their speciality. It was cheap so I’ll give it that.

The tacos are delicious and taste authentic. The prices are reasonable, and only a few things on the menu are a little pricy. My only complaint is that I wish the sanitation was better. Every time I go, the tables are so dirty and greasy. I wish they would clean their tables every now and then. Also, it’s small. Too small for the amount of people who come in. All in all, the food is delicious.

Easily the best place to get Mexican food in San Bernardino. I’ve tried the others they don’t compare. The wait may be longer than others, but that’s because they’re preparing your food, not just pulling it out of a hot box.
And, if the best food comes from a «hole in wall,» then this is the best hole in any wall, anywhere.

Taco Shop has the best Chile Relleno and Carne Asada Burrito I’ve tasted without going abroad. Very tasty but not salty. This place gets packed during lunch and dinner so the wait for your food is super long. Physical space is small but there’s like 4 – 5 tables there. Calling in advance could be futile because they answer their phones sporadically. But their food is great!

This place is popping. if you can get through to make a order please do so… came here at about 7:30 on a weekend tried to call ahead with no answer went in and ordered the 3 taco rice beans and a soda for $ 4.99 great deal !! BF got carne Assad I just wanted the chilli relleno al a cart and a bean and cheese burrito for the kid… unfortunately they had run out of horchata .all in all nice service good food though my chilli relleno sauce could of been better… but it may have been a bad night I will try again

A dump, a dive, a hole in the wall, what ever you want to call it.
Expect a substantial wait but its worth it. Also expect to wait with a bunch of stoned, ghetto and wild student type people at this place but you will all be in agreeance with what you will eating.
They are not chincy with their portions and their food is really good. I do recommend this place especially after you take a bong load.
WARNING. IT’S COOKED TO ORDER, CONSIDER CALLING IN YOUR ORDER TO GO. Right after your first bong load!

I have nothing but nice things to say about this family owned and operated place. It’s small and nothing fancy but the food is awesome! They work very hard to get your order to you.
We ordered a beef taco & enchilada plate and chile relleno. It was sooooooo good! Had a homestyle taste to the food. Very busy place so you know it’s good.
Two brothers work here and they look like twins and of course mom’s, really nice peeps. Also, other family members I think. I will definitely be back.
