Buyer beware; I had a Carne Asada burrito and was sick of my stomach for 2 days. The food tasted rather fatty but I was hungry and went ahead and ate it. Bad decision.

I enjoy the carne asada burritos tremendously. The meat is very well cooked and has great flavor. The service is terrible, every cashier is rude and does not welcome you when you enter. But can’t complain too much because the food is great.

So not the best Alberto’s, but staff was really nice. I ordered the chorizo plate with beans. The chorizo was pretty burnt but beans were good.

This Alberto’s has bad service even when it’s empty. I went in once and the man was correcting my Spanish and he wasn’t being funny or nice about it. Like he was bothered that I said asada instead of asado. Today I decide to come in for the chicken fries and the guy looked at me like I’m crazy that they don’t serve that there. Hmmm, I must’ve been imagining the fries then all the other times I would go. I’m done with this place especially since they don’t serve the pollo fries apparently.

i hadn’t eaten at an alberto’s for about five yrs. went here tonite. 9−14−15 absolutely the worst. old oil. hot as hell in there. taco’s taquitos, carne asada nachos, even the horchata was the worst. everything was way over cooked. sad to say but their frozen fries were the only thing that was a little decent.(and they shorted me an order of fries) i think they need a visit from the heath inspector. my letter grade ffffffffffffffff all across the board. wish i had read the reviews before i ate there. never again stay away people. why do i have to give any stars if they don’t deserve even one?

The worst Alberto’s I’ve ever been too in my life I bought a chicken burrito today it was so small I probably can buy a $ 1 chicken roll from Del Taco would of been more satisfying never going back to that dump either u guys need to change the cook.

This is the only Alberto’s restaurant that would offer shrimp burrito. Taste little plain but after adding little bit of salt, very yummy. The waitress was very friendly and open kitchen was very clean.

This review is solely based on customer service. I was on my way to Vegas from San Diego with my family and we stopped in the little strip mall that Alberto’s is located in. I put my wallet on the hood of the car so that I could have both of my hands free to fiddle with my bag. Three hours later I go to reach for my wallet and it’s not there. I thought. Okay where did I have it last? I used google to find the address if this taco shop and I called it. Christina answered the phone and informed me that some had in fact turned my wallet in to her and that she would put it in a safe place until I was able to retrieve it. That level of trustworthiness and morality is something that is sadly lacking in our society today. I gave her $ 20 for being such an angel. Thanks again Christina!

Worst«mexican» food ever. I wouldn’t spend a penny more on this dump… I don’t know how they still have business… the chicken quesadilla I ordered was made with orange cheese not the usual white kind. the chicken was horrible!!! Hot sauce is literally water pretty much soooo disappointed

This place is what you call authentico. If you think good Mexican food consists of clever stoner advertising, rehydrated beans and chulupas, this place isn’t for you. If you’re a real stoner who eats real Mexican food, then this is the place for you. The price is right, the food is delicious. Do yourself a favor and order the menudo on the weekend. Legend has it that it cures hang overs.(that’s probably a myth, but it’s mighty tastey. If it’s a weekday, treat yourself to a taquito or a Carne Amanda burrito. The only thing that sucks is they don’t give free refills so order a large soda and call it a day Jack.

Carne asada burrito was really good tonight. The taquitos were just ok. The lady was friendly at 10:30pm they close at 11pm. She gave me a sample cup of horchata I will definitely be getting that next time. Way better than Alantacos down the street. I’ve been eating Albertos food for 20yrs and this is the first location I’ve seen with no drive thru besides the one in fontana by slover!

I go to this Alberto’s just rarely enough to forget that I get sick every time I go there. I am polite to the woman behind the counter, I still get food that makes me sick. I tip them, I still get food poisoning. The place is gross; probably the least appetizing and clean Alberto’s in the area. Stay away if you value your health and colon. I went yesterday and the rice tasted funny(like it had been sitting there all day) but I ate it anyway because I needed to eat before work. Now I have to go to work with chills, the shakes, and nausea.

This place has a great chilie verde burrito, typically I’ll get carne asada mixed in. Recently they changed the size of their carne asada fry from small and large to just one size, wick is a bummer, but I’ll get over it. There are only two things that I kinda don’t like about the place 1) it is ALWAYS hot in there, but it’s whatever since I don’t usually eat their. 2) most of the people they have as cashiers are jerks, all but one guy seriously lacks customers service skills.

Best burrito I’ve had in San Bernardino. I dig how it comes with the meat, pico de gallo, and guac in the standard 4.25 $ pollo asada or carne asada. No fillers like beans or(worse yet) rice. Place could stand to be a bit cleaner, but I like to eat outside anyhow and you’re not going to a 5 $ burrito joint for the atmosphere. Employees have always been friendly with me.

Don’t hate it, don’t love it. First the positives. Food tastes good and quality is there, I recommend their nachos. They’re friggin huge that they can feed you for a weekend(okay at least a day) but you get my point they’re huge!!! The Pork Chile Verde is my fave. In fact I only order nachos or when I feel like it a burrito. With that said, they also need to fix a few things. Here goes my rant. The portion sizes are crazy on some items, but not in a good way. Their tortas are miniscule compared to all the other places I’ve been to. The fries they use for their chicken and asada fries are frozen and don’t really work well in complimenting and being part of the dish. They don’t absorb the flavor and just taste like frozen stiff potatoes. They also don’t put rice and beans in your burrito unless you tell them to. WTFISTHAT!!! All other places at least put beans in their burritos I think it’s necessary. It just seems wierd that it’s just meat and tortilla. With burritos properly loaded, they aren’t bad. Their salsas need a bit more kick. I sometimes feel like I’m putting green or red water on my food. Finally, their University Parkway location has an open kitchen/dining room so it can be hot AF in there and just waiting for take out can be rather unpleasant. With those concerns addressed, there is one thing I do look forward to from Alberto’s is breakfast. I’ve never been here for breakfast and look forward to trying some of their breakfast burritos that friends and other reviewers seem to rave about.

Good food. Only two seem to work here tho. The chick who takes the money needs to work on her customer service skills. She is kinda rude for the point of contact. Good food and bad service. Guess they cancel each other out. Dude cooking food can’t multi task. He cooks one order at a time…
