Hard to find Korean food in this area. Lunch prices are friendlier than dinner prices($ 8 – 9 vs $ 13 – 15). Good tofu soups and nice variety of spicy/non-spicy side dishes. Quality of meat dishes seem to be better when you dine in vs. take out. Note: you will smell like kimchi and meat after you dine in.

I have had my fare share of Korean food. Coming from the mountains, this place seems to win my groups heart. The location has ample parking so thats always a big plus. Menu is pretty elaborate and filled with choices. Too bad lunch specials is only between Monday — Friday. Most of us ordered number 5 which is the Spicy Tofu Soup. Two of us had the mix version and the other had the veggie option. Our fourth musketeer wasn’t feeling well so he just had a soup. Bön Chon came out and we dug right in. Its good. My favorite is the potato’s and the pickled daikon. When the soup came out, it was piping hot. I would suggest you wait a bit to cool it off before tasting it. But before that, crack that egg right into the boiling pot and watch magic take place. Love the fresh eggs cracked into the boiling spicy broth. Once it was warm to taste, I sampled and liked the taste. Very flavorful as expected. Upon digging around in my mix pot, which consist of clams, beef, and shrimp, I was disappointed to find that the items in the pot was minuscule. Only a few small slices of beef, two half pinky size shrimp, and one clam. Regardless, I still had my perfectly cooked egg and broth to pair with the rice. I enjoyed that part with the sides. But the dish seemed incomplete. Shame. Service is good. I had a chance to talk to one of the waitress and think she is actually the owner. Very nice. She said the business have been there for over 10 years and she recently took it over. Such a nice and happy person. I hope she does well with the restaurant. Bathroom is clean which is also a big plus. Restaurant seems a little dark but they might be undergoing changes since its under new management. This place is a solid three for me at the moment and would love to come back to try other dishes. I’m hoping that it can be a 4 or even a 5 from me one day. It seems to have great potential since their competition is quite limited. Come on in and have some good Korean food. Perhaps your bowl of soup will have more in store.

Got the bulgogi plate there was a great deal of meat and it had a savory taste. The main dish was good however the sides are awesome!!! The pickled cucumbers with some type of hot sauce on it was great !! Also the pickled bamboo with jalapeños is also great; however watch out for the jalapeños they are HOT! Lastly the lemons I’ve never had lemons that great idk if lemons are in season yet they had a lot of flavor and it made the water taste magical. The only negative thing is I wish they had more combo plates
