Hubby and I had lunch here today. Food was great with one exception. The kitchen messed up Hubby’s order so he had to get his food to go as I was almost done eating by the time the issue was corrected. I had the burger with brie and mushrooms. Hubby ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich but got the cordon blue by mistake. Server was super sweet and we were given 20% off our bill.

I came here with my girlfriend for a brunch date. We walked in and had someone greet us right away with a smile on their face. They took us to our seats and gave us menus and asked what we would like to drink. We ordered and received our food not long after. The food is a little pricey, but definitely well made. Overall it’s a nice café with excellent employees and excellent chefs.

These people serve cold chicken. intentionally. I called and they said they serve the mediterranean salad with cold chicken. Thats ok but there is nothing stating the chicken will be cold when describing the meal.

While this has been one of our favorite restaurants in the past, we’ve noticed a few things that are a little concerning. 1) No vegetarian dish on the menu? I ordered a salad and requested no chicken and was advised that there is no price reduction if you don’t want the chicken. 2) the carrot bread is now carrot clam shells, we preferred the bread because the clam shells seem greasier, 3) the hot water tea pots are missing their handles so when I attempted to put a tea bag in it I nearly burnt my fingers. Can’t Mimi’s afford to replace the dilapidated tea pots? and finally 4) the women’s restroom was really very unclean and that causes me great concern. They say a restaurant’s kitchen is a reflection of it’s restrooms. It appears to me that Mimi’s is taking a lot of cost cutting measures and it makes Mimi’s look cheap.

Been here a couple of times on Saturday mornings for brunch and I love it! I always come with my parents, brothers, sisters, niece, nephew and my baby and they are always very nice and accommodating. Even though there’s always a wait, it’s not long.
The food I’ve had so far is great. I’ve had steak and eggs, muffins, waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon (all at different times lol). The coffee is good too. Nice flavors but I need to try more stuff from their menu as everything looks good.
I also love the relaxing atmosphere and Frenchy feel. The country decorations are cute. I’ll most likely be coming back again. :D

Don’t know if I just had a bad day but 15 minutes after I left the restaurant I experienced a severe case of indigestion. I have been to Mimi’s café in the past and most of the times the food and service has been good. Mimi’s always had top notch waitresses but this place was not up to their standards. The rest of the day I felt as if I ate some toxic food for breakfast. Very disappointing experience.

I was surprised to see this location only has a 3-​star average. We had a great experience. Our waitress made suggestions so our breakfast experience would be much more enjoyable. Plenty of parking, relaxed environment, we will definitely be back. Our hostess name was Chandra

Nasty. Overpriced. How do you screw up bacon? Well ask them they did. Waffles with apples and bacon were straight nasty soggy and cold and overly salty bacon. Pumpkin spice muffin was good. That’s it.

Mimi’s is one of my all time favorite restaurants! It has a lot of personality.
I dig the French cuisine and wine selection.
The bread they serve before the meal is amazing as well! It’s a variety of white, wheat, and carrot bread.
I recommend getting the pot roast or the French Dip sandwich with Au Jus sauce!
The food is full of flavor and the wait staff are very friendly.
It is pretty pricey but for special occasions it is perfect!

Good deal for the money we agreed.
Air conditioned. Always a plus.
Blueberry muffins were a little undercooked maybe, but could just be my preference.

I was quite surprised to find out that there was not a single vegetarian dish on the menu. Not even the salads were vegetarian, but had bacon or chicken included! How is this even possible in modern California where a lot of people have realized how cruel the meat industry is and where the vegetarian/​vegan trend is huge?!?
But I have to admit that the staff was great and our server was super friendly! But they absolutely should revise their menu!

The place is decent but I have one major complaint. If I’m getting breakfast, I’m getting an omelette. I want specific things on my omelette. I can’t do that at Mimi’s. I have to order one of their omelette a and none of them are anything close to what I want.
Add an option to build your own omelette. It’s not hard.

Their food is is pretty good… I got a 5 cheese grilled cheese sandwich with fries and the fries have a similar taste to In –N-​Out Burgers fries, which is a good thing, because I like In-​N-​Out as well.

Mimi’s is solid & I can always rely on them. Quiet background instrumental music. Friendly servers and good food. They even have a quaint little booth, tucked away by itself, with a privacy feeling to it. Not surprised to learn that booth 301, is referred to as the honeymoon booth.
I had the chicken chop salad. I love the light feeling and taste of the dressing. Hubz had a burger and fries. He says, «yum». Would order it again, very fresh. I’ve also had a couple lunch meetings here. I like Mimi’s and will return.

Ok in my book. Mitch was good to us. We were able to use 5 buy one, get one coupons for our party of 10. The potatoes were different but we really liked them. The carrot muffin was awesome. The blueberry muffins and banana nut pancakes were undercooked. Everyone seemed to like their food. I didn’t hear any complaints. I also didn’t hear that anyone thought their food was amazing though… I would only come back if we had another meeting or social gathering. This isn’t somewhere I’d choose to go on my own.

I have been to many MiMi’s cafes. The service and food at this location has always been great. love their breakfast foods, oj, and muffins. The quiche Lorraine is excellent.
For dinner, I recommend the Coq au vin, meat loaf, and french onion soup.
My dislikes are the baked Brie presentation and myover cooked bacon cheese fries.

North Las Vegas, NV
After a long gap between visits, a return dinner began with 16 large Garlic Herb Steamed Mussels prepared with White Wine Sauce that resulted in a viscous broth, along with a supple Garlic Baguette Crostini. A crock of French Onion Soup was hot and satisfying. And my entrée of Meatloaf took a little too long to arrive, but was very tasty when it did, enhanced by creamy Mashed Potatoes and Brown Gravy. Haricot Vertes accompanying the entrée were too cool.
Our friendly server Ashley willingly brought a requested second load of delicious complimentary Carrot Raisin Bread and butter, which resembled a sweet dessert. It was a pleasant meal.
