I probably wouldn’t have tried this place except that my son started going to the Daycare next door, and I noticed the good smells. I’ve only tried the breakfast burrito and the #33 w/carnitas. Pleasantly surprised, everything is prepared fresh and fairly quick and tasted great. I love their homemade beans and rice and so does my 10-month old:)

Cheap, fast, extremely convenient. Café Society will get the job done when it comes to getting your fill, but it won’t wow you necessarily. FOOD: There’s a lot of items on their menu but the grand prize of them all is their breakfast burrito. Chicken is my favorite and I like to add avocado time to time. The salsa they provide is also great – really can’t do the burrito without it. Don’t bother with their other items as their Mexican food is as plain as it gets. SERVICE: As a student of Loma Linda University, Café Society is so so convenient on my way to school. I usually just call in a order right as I leave home and pick it up on the way to school. The service is fast and friendly. OVERALL: Nothing amazing and more of a last resort when you want something fast and nearby school.

Food is nothing special. nothing i couldn’t make at home myself, but I will say that the breakfast burrito is pretty good and big. It is really close to LLU campus(within walking distance) and so it’s a nice place to go if you really don’t want to eat at the cafeteria(or walk there). Other than that, nothing to write home about. I would definitely recommend getting the breakfast burrito or huevos rancheros. If you don’t want any of that, their wet burritos are okay, but a little heavy. Overall, Grade: C+

Great food, amazing breakfast food served all day, salsa is to die for. The only issue is parking is basically nonexistent. Parallel on the street or risk towing from business across the way.

Every time I’m in the area I stop here for a sausage breakfast burrito and they never disappoint. Give it a shot!

There’s nothing flashy about this place but I’ve been coming here for at least 3 years. It’s really close to Loma Linda University which is convenient if your ever craving meat since the campus is vegetarian and I personally get sick of cafeteria food at times. I’ve only tried a couple of their other items like the lamb gyro & fries, churros and coffee blends. My personal favorite is their Vegeturkey breakfast burrito. I don’t know if it’s the sauce but it’s one of the best I’ve had. I live nearby so on some days I’d grab a breakfast burrito, some coffee real quick before class or exams on finals week when I get super busy. They are friendly most of the time and deliver too. Just know it gets packed with students and Loma Linda staff around lunch on a regular weekday.

Visited this place for the first time. It’s a small place down a residential street. But the food is good. I had the carne asada burrito and not only was it good but it they didn’t skimp on the ingredients.

Came in this morning because the hospital was out of regular coffee and I needed a caffeine fix. The customer service was amazing and everyone at work seemed happy.

I was really hoping this place would be a diamond in the ruff but it wasn’t. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito but when I got my food I was kinda disappointed. It was stuffed with beans and rice. Like stuffed! Then a little bit of meat, maybe a sliver of guac and sour cream, and lettuce. I also really hoped the hot sauce would counteract all those beans and rice but it had no taste unfortunately. The only reason I gave them a 3⁄5 was because of portion size and price. I will give this place another shot though in the near future only because it’s close to school and my friends liked it.

I’m obsessed with the breakfast burritos. I sub the meat for beans in mine and add avocado when I feel like«splurging.» So far I’ve had great service. They bring the food to your table. One morning I came around opening time and the cashier at that time was incredibly friendly. He seemed very familiar with the regulars that come in at that time and took time to get to know me. Good prices. $ 5 minimum for card charges.

–it’s walking distance to LLU –it has decent food for the price and good smoothies. –very expansive menu with very good vegetarian options(a de-facto requirement for LL). –sufficient seating both indoor and outdoor.

Good inexpensive food that is close to Loma Linda Medical Center. Cheaper and 100 times better than the cafeteria at the hospital. Meat and vegetarian options. Big café menu. The only draw back is that they close at 6:00pm. So early dinner. Breakfast and lunch served all day Burritos and cheap big and delicious. Around $ 4.25 plus 75¢ to get it «wet».

I’ve gotten stuff here in the past(chicken salad, banana smoothie) which were both OK. Today I got a carne asada wet burrito and it was disgusting. The sauce took over the entire taste. I’m very disappointed. Hopefully when I go there again(they’re right down the street from work so it is inevitable) it won’t be so bad. Ruined my lunch and appetite

After being a student at LLU for over a year, I finally decided to check out café society. Pros: + Within walking distance of campus and the closest place that serves meat + A lot of variety on the menu Cons: — Food is nothing special Overall, I might come here again sometime if the food at the school cafeteria doesn’t entice me, but it’s definitely not a place I would go out of my way to go to.

Went to Café Society for a lunch break during work. It is a great location near Loma Linda University and Medical Center. Also, Café Society has every type of food imaginable — Mexican, Greek, American, Deli, Breakfast. You’ll definitely be taking a few minutes to decide what you want to eat. I ordered the Lamb Gyro with fries, and it was pretty good. Wasn’t the best gyro, but it was decent for what it was. My meal came out to be ~$ 7, which is a great price for lunch. Will be definitely coming back to try more items on the menu!
