Lopez & Ray’s Quality Barber Shop

My usual barber had been messing up my hair lately and was booked solid today, so I turned to Unilocal to find another shop and possibly a new barber. I saw the positive reviews on this place and gave them a call to inquire the price and how long the wait was. Whoever answered the phone was very polite and told me what I wanted would be 17 dollars total! Score because I had been paying 20. He also informed me that there was no wait currently! I grabbed my keys and rushed down there and was instantly greeted as I walked through the door. «Are you the one who just called?» He asked. Yup I said. He instructed another barber named Darren to cut my hair. I was greeted by Darren who was very funny and a knowledgeable barber! He reminded me of some of my homies that I hung out with back in the day. He asked questions, I told him exactly what I wanted and he proceeded to ask if I was in the rockabilly scene. Score again! This let me know I was in the right place. He started talking about the style of haircuts and even said that a lot of rockabilly cuts were a 2 line taper. When he dropped the terminology, I know he knew what he was talking about. I was in and out within 30 minutes which is a lot quicker than my usual barber takes by a mile! He didn’t skimp on the cut though, it was absolutely one of the best cuts I’ve gotten from any barber and that says a lot, because I’m picky about my hair and have gone to some talented barbers. We exchanged numbers and he texted me so I can text him to set up an appointment next time which was cool. Needless to say, I found my new barber and shop! 5 stars all the way. Check this place out. You won’t regret it.

I went yesterday for my first time to get a haircut and they knew what they were doing Danny cut my hair and he did an amazing job he took his time and got it perfect definitely going back there I highly recommend you do the same !!!

First time here today. I called ahead to see if it was open, and Ray was able to set an appointment for me early. I arrived and he asked all this questions about how I liked my haircut. I was surprised since others barber I’ve gone to just ask one quotation and cut away. I like that because it shows how much attention he gives to a customer, especially a first time one. He completely understood what I wanted, and my haircut came out great. I liked the feel of the place. It was clean and nice, it actually felt like an actual barbershop. Will highly recommend, and will definitely be coming here from now on. Thank you!

Great place every one has worked on my son’s hair and i always walk out satisfied having exactly what we wanted. I made the mistake of going to another spot because they are closed on Sunday and monday but never again the other barbershop just messed up my son’s hair.

I bring my son here and Danny Jr. does a great job everytime! He gets exactly what he wants and does it quick. The rest of the guys also do great, and its a nice, clean environment. Love it here!

Was out here for a business meeting and finished up early, hopped onto Unilocal to find a place to get my haircut. Very happy that I found these guys. A great haircut at a fair price. The owners have been cutting for 20+ years, lots of experience and it shows. So many of these new barbershops try to gouge their customers with inflated prices. These guys offer quality at the right price. Would definitely come back again when I’m in the area.

Great place to get faded up and lookin’ great. Danny keeps me looking slick with reasonable prices and great availability in time and scheduling. They’ve got a fan in me.

I love this place! My dad has took my son a few weeks ago and I am taking him again Saturday. He simply boiled over with confidence after his experience he normally hates hair cuts but they did exactly what he wanted and everyone loved his hair when he came home! He will be back there every 2 weeks from now on!!!

Great spot in downtown to get a cut. You can make an appointment or walk-​in. The guys here are great and the 2 men in my life (husband & son) always look great! No frills or fuss just a great barber shop and only $ 12 bucks, yes please!
