Wing Daddy’s

Rough start to a fabulous ending. It took 45 mins to get seated although in the last 15 mins tables were available (pics shown). When my husband addressed this with the hostess she said she understood but was told by the waitreses not to seat people because it was hard to keep up. But the place was really winding down so I didn’t understand. Then the hostess said go ahead and sit… basically for us to choose our own table. On the way to the table I asked her to send the manager over. As I was looking up their corporate information the manager walked over and I expressed my concerns. He was very apologetic and gave us a free appetizer and even took our drink order himself. He stated that he wanted our night to end on a good note.
I have to admit that he delivered on this. Food came out quickly and was delicious! These were the best in bone garlic parmesan wings I’ve ever had! Crispy on outside, juicy on inside. I also had the Chamango margarita which helped calm my nerves and was also very tasty. If I had any negative comment in regards to food I would say the Sleezeballs (appetizer) were sort of bland as if they needed salt. The idea behind them is great but it’s lacking in taste.
My suggestion would be to get a good group of waitresses who can keep up and a more upbeat hostess… I mean she is the face of the company when you first enter. She also warned us we would lose our spot in line of we stepped outside and it was body to body inside. Luckily that did not happen.
In all I have to thank the manager and the chefs for the great turnout. The waitresses need to go… I’m also concerned about my credit card after reading the last review because we did have the blonde with the tats on the back of her legs as a waitress…

Watch out for the blonde with the tats on the back of her legs. She steels from our credit cards. And the management didn’t do anything until we had to direct to management a second time. Hmmmm

Service is ok. The good not so much. I have gone here with my husband because it’s close to our house. The mixed drinks are like juice. No alcohol. And super expensive. Not worth it

Besides the questionable extra charges on my ticket that didn’t make sense when I visited Wednesday, 03/​16/​2016, they have horrible customer service. Here is more on why their staff was lousy:
I left my cell phone on the table at this location, and called the restaurant a few minutes afterward, immediately upon realizing this. The employee who answered sounded very uninterested in looking for my phone. When I said that I had left my phone on the table and asked whether this person could check, she replied, «WHAAAAT?! I can’t hear you!» So I repeated my questions louder. She immediately responded that nobody had turned anything in – WITHOUT CHECKING FIRST. Then she said, «Ohhhh hold on. Let me ask my manager», but she came back to the phone saying that the manager said the same thing. She was ready to hang up, but I asked if she could ask my server if she had seen anything. A few seconds later she came back to the phone and said my server didn’t see anything, but she would call me back if they found anything. Then she hung up. Without taking my number down. How would she call me back if she didn’t know my number?
I went back to the location immediately and asked again. They said again they didn’t find it. They aren’t detectives, but the staff could have been more polite, more professional, and more helpful to customers. Because of their horrible service (during my meal, as well), I will not return. I encourage people to watch their possessions and monitor their receipts because Wing Daddy’s is certainly not interested in helping their customers.

I went here for the first time with a couple friends. The beer was cold and the food was great. The bartenders were friendly and it was an overall great experience. I will definitely come back.

the wings are pretty good here. the service is good too
try the sleeze balls. mine were cold once but i gave em another try and they got it right
drink menu is lengthy so what ever your taste buds desire, there’s a drink for that

This was an eh kinda visit. The food was good, but the drinks weren’t. Ordered a top shelf margarita that tasted like dish soap. Changed to a cucumber margarita and was told they couldnt make it. Changed it to the marco polo and it was all vodka witha splash of blue for looks, tasted horrible. Looked around to see how everybody else with mixed drinks was and noticed that it was all similar. Only one drink out of them and set aside. But all the beer drinkers were satisfied. Also noticed that the staff looked like they hated their job. Not one smile! Hate that i had to write this review because have been here before when first opened and had a great experience. Hope this helps to step up their game. Wont be back anytime soon, sorry. Need to hire bartenders, not beertenders.

It’s frustrating when you find an establishment you like, and visit somewhat often, and then have a not so great experience. It’s true, your waitstaff can make or break your experience.
Inattentive, slow with no active listening skills is not what you want to encounter. I can understand if the kitchen is behind… it happens. But some acknowledgement can go a long way.
I understand if it’s busy, things can get lost along the way. But going on a Monday evening, after football season so no chance of MNF, is not exactly a busy time.
Simple things, such as bringing the water you order, or waiting for the second person in your party to order their drink before walking off to get the first order can impact the customers overall experience. But why should people who arrived after you, get their food and leave before your food is delivered to your table. I even witnessed an elder couple (maybe 50’s) seat themselves, only to leave 15 minutes later because they were not acknowledged.
I’m not one to complain to a manager. I refuse to be looked at as a customer trying to get a free meal. And of all times, I probably should have for the bad experience.
We choose to come here, and can say. to get our wing «fix» we may go back to wing stop versus driving to have a not so great experience.
PS…not speaking ill of the food. Only speaking of our waitress. If management were to read, I’d be more than happy to give her name.

I just want to say this place absolutely sucks! I gave them a chance 3 times, the last time my boyfriend & I waited 12 minutes to be served and all the waitresses just kept walking past us. The table next to us was sat and waited on within minutes. We weren’t served till I got a manager, and he took our order and brought us our food. The 2^nd time we were charged for fries that were never brought out to us, and had to flag down the waitresses for service multiple times.

Outstanding establishment highly recommend to friends and family. Food is outstanding!!! Definitely come back.

I’m super pleased with this wing place! First off, THANK GOODNESS the south side is growing. My husband loves wings, and we wanted to try something new. Now, the wings were HUGE, and so crispy and had a good amount of taste. The batter is what is seasoned, so it’s not just some generic wing coated in a sauce. It’s not something that can be easily done at home, which is why I’m so pleased (unlike some wing places my husband drags me to, and I know I could make the same thing if you gave me a bottle of sauce). We had the bombshells as an appetizer. I had to pull out my 90s slang, bc we both agreed they were da’ bomb! They are essentially stuffed jalapeños but they are stuffed with crab/​shrimp. The side of celery and carrots was HUGE also! I mean, like whoa. It’s clean, good atmosphere, and I think it’s very reasonable for $ ⁸⁄₁₀ wings; $ 6/​bombshells.

Potranco is so much better. Watered down rum and coke, back near bathroom smells like puke and piss, rude staff. Just happened to be in the area but I’ll stick with going to potranco.

I would give no stars if possible. It took 20 minutes for anyone to come to our table and only because we went up to them to ask for service. 15 more minutes go by and we still don’t have drinks. The waitresses have no sense of urgency and no idea how to be efficient. No one in this establishment seems to care.

This was only my 2^nd time here and I thought maybe things had changed from my 1^st visit but it had not. The service was the same, HORRIBLE!!! After waiting for almost 10 mins for someone to even notice us and others who were waiting to be seated (no one ever did), we walked through and found an empty unbussed table and sat down. After waiting again, 18mins, with no one Still not even acknowledging us or making eye contact, we managed to snag a server and asked for assistance, she said «I’ll find someone». And yes, there were plenty of servers running around but they seemed to be more interested in the drucken, a**grabbing, touchy feely male customers more than customers such as my husband and I & others around some with children that seemed to be having similar issues. Finally, after a few mins, a young lady came and cleared the table but did not look at us or say a word. Not even an I’m sorry for the wait.
The food was ok. The wings would have been better without the 2 inches of grease they were sitting in. The onion rings were excellent.
Suggestion to Management: Spend some money on customer service training for your employees.

Host was very very rude and can’t stand the attitude knowing she was wrong «Andrea» continues mad dogging us though out the night, so guess what? I am calling you out so others know to stay away from bad people. Our regular waitress Sophie is the BEST great personality and fun people to chat with. Thanks and hope someone takes care of «the issue»… MRios

I have only eaten the boneless wings and they keep me coming back. Service is not great, very laid back, but the manager is nice and listened when I called to complain.

Spicy it up! Finally some wing sauce that is boss. Have to try try Sleezeballs appetizers. Was too full to try more but have to come back.

We have been going here since it opened. The wings are my favorite out of any other wing place. Drinks are great… reason I keep going back Customer service did lack a bit but we have noticed within the last few months it has improved greatly. Love this place.

I come to the area often and was enticed by the name. We decided to stop in as we had a craving for dirty fried foods and wings. I was surprised to see all the poor reviews of the place at first glance. However, I could imagine on a busy game night service and quality would lack a bit.
Our visit consisted of all the top items on their menu: Nachos, wings, fries, kids food. It was all pretty largely portioned and flavorful.
One of my pet peeves of a restaurant these days is their plastic filthy menus, and that alone makes me feel like they aren’t cleaning other important things people put their hands on like my straw and silverware, but hey, you’re at a wing place. Let’s hope for the best!

The wings are huge. The dry rub is a bit much on the salt. The service is a little slow. It’s a bar with a lot of TVs
Get the wings to go if you want to enjoy your company.
