Nice people, great food. I’ve been here a few time as its close to home. Food is always fresh and delicious. You won’t be disappointed stopping in for lunch! I’ll be back!

Lady was really sweet. Had a great salad with balsamic. Added tuna on top. The food was great. The place is a little dirty and the bathroom really needed cleaning. Would have been 5 stars if it was cleaner.

Great place. The Big will recommendation was great! Highly recommend and will be back again. Homemade baked turkeys for the meat is great!

Found this little gem, while looking for a new lunch spot. Love the authentic home style sandwiches and soups, not over done! Have not had a bad sandwich, soup, or dessert there! Prices are excellent and owners are on the pulse of the customer. One thing to recommend is better combos, sandwich and pickle or sandwich and chips, neither with a drink really do not make a combo, in my opinion.

It was my first time at this establishment; I must admit, the sandwich was the best I’ve had, The«Big Will» was suggested so I decided to try it. Let me just describe what it looks like since it only lasted 10 seconds since it was so delicious: In between to soft pieces of bread there was some thick juicy bacon on top of three yummy melted cheeses and under that a thick and tender juicy piece(s) of grilled chicken, over a bed of thick tomato and lettuce lathered with mayonnaise. Boy was that good. If you haven’t been here, TRYIT. WILLDEFINITELYCOMEAGAIN!!!

Great food and fast service. Very nice, the lady seems to have a lot of regulars! I’d like to become one. She talks to a lot of people and knows them by name. Very family friendly, feels like home.

My sister and I were in the area and asked Siri what top rated restaurants were near by. Wetmore Deli was one that grabbed our attention. The look of this deli is humble and could be deceiving… but the food is absolutely delicious and the service is fantastic(very personable and hospitable). My sister got the Traditional Ruben sandwich and said it’s by far one of the best sandwiches that she has ever had. She’s been craving it ever since! I got the Philly cheesesteak, the avocado & tomato salad and a brownie! Everything was GREAT! We’ll definitely be going back!

A much more refreshing choice in sandwich shops! The turkey being fresh cooked was amazing! You can most definitely taste the difference in the ingredients being so fresh was great! However I must have come at a bad time bc there was not much going on in there and the décor/atmosphere was a little drab. Did not feel like it was very inviting to stay long

Decided to stop here after reading some reviews on Unilocal.I like that it is not a chain style restaurant. I ordered the Tomato Basil soup and it was delicious. They also recommended a Cheesy Bacon Potato and Split Pea soup but I like Tomato Soup a lot and this one was excellent. I also ordered their Ultimate Turkey Sandwich. I loved that the turkey is home made. Had to wait a little bit for it because they ran out but one was coming of the oven when I arrived so it turn out pretty well because it was hot and juicy. The sandwich comes with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, bacon and avocado. It was«delicioso». Definitely will come back again.

It is fine, but not exceptional. Unfortunately, I obviously did not have a similar experience to those who previously reviewed Wetmore. I sat down and waited to have my order taken. After 5 minutes, a couple of regulars came in, placed their order up front and then sat down. Okay, I guess I should have just known(even though there is no sign saying«Place Order Here») that it is self-serve. I placed my order with a lady who was far too busy for this(I know this because I heard her mutter it) and went back to my table to wait my order. I picked up ya decent, not very good or exceptional, BLT. With a bag of chips and a can of lemonade, it ended up being a little under $ 10,w which is fine.

I loooove this place! I take friends often. Good people, good food, good prices. What more do you need? My favorite is the grilled veggie sandwich with black olives added. Craving one now actually. :)) See you guys soon!

Fast and friendly service! We went for the first time right before closing(without realizing it) and the staff was so accommodating. Our sandwiches were delicious, of course!

Stopped in for a quick lunch and this unassuming little deli did not disappoint. I ordered the lunch special — ½ sandwich and chips for only like $ 5. What a steal. The turkey was fresh, not pressed lunch meat, and the avocado added the perfect topping. I’ll definitely be back for more of their menu when I have time for a longer lunch. Although you won’t need much time — they are quick with the orders and you don’t have to wait long. Yum!

Such a cute little deli with great food and great service! The sweet lady(who I’m pretty sure is the owner) found out it was our first time and was so helpful. The food is fresh and amazing! My husband got the«big will» it was so yummy! I got the turkey, avocado and Swiss on sourdough and and the tomato basil soup! It was so fresh and good, we will be back for sure! We also got the snickerdoodle cookie it was AWESOME! If you want great service and good food go here !

I work just around the corner and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the tuna sandwich, and it was so great it took me to my childhood. The price was also reasonable, but my side of fruit was a little disappointing. The building itself though was very quaint, makes you feel like you’re at home.

I live close by and it’s my go to sandwich shop! You can tell everything is hand made and fresh! The ultimate turkey I just can’t get away from its perfect! The meatball is another favorite and the burgers are amazing as well! I try to eat here once every couple weeks at least!

With open hours that are difficult to make since I don’t work in the area(they’re only open for lunch Monday-Saturday), I was finally off on a Friday and excited to be able to swing by. Wetmore Deli was sold to new owners about a year ago, so if you haven’t been since then, definitely swing by and give it a shot. I’m not sure how the old owners ran it, but these new guys seem to have it down. We walked into the small deli in the shopping center and up to the counter where you place your order. The woman who was at the counter(one of the owners) enthusiastically answered all the questions I had about the menu. The meatloaf sandwich was sold out for the day already, which I was a little sad about… but you always know a menu item is great when it sells out! They make their meatloaf there every morning, as well as roasting the chicken and turkey every day too. Since I am very bad at decision making, I made my lunchmate split 2 sandwiches with me. We had the chicken salad sandwich and the Big Will. The chicken salad didn’t have anything particularly exciting that stood out about it except that it tasted super fresh and homemade(because it was). It was good and the grapes in it were a nice treat too! The Big Will is a hot sandwich with turkey and 3 kinds of melted cheese on it. It was delicious and a lot of food — my favorite of the two as well. Dessert was necessary, as usual, and we bought one of the peanut butter cookies from the display on the counter. Just like most of the other food in the restaurant, they were freshly made that morning. They were also enormous and delicious. Two drinks, two sandwiches, and a cookie put our bill at around $ 20 — pretty standard for a good sandwich. I was very full and happy when we finished. My next trip to Wetmore Deli will be a little earlier in the day so that I can try to get one of those meatloaf sandwiches!

«I want a good sandwich» my buddy says to me…“What’s around here?“ My response included 2 or 3 chains(not to be mentioned), and I realized that I didn’t really have a local joint for a great sangwich. Next move is Unilocal on the smartphone. I find Wetmore Deli has only a couple of reviews, but they’re both 5 Stars, and it’s only a couple of miles from the casa. We’re headed out. Walk into the quiant litle place and realize that I’ve actually known the owner for years, but had no clue that she and her hubby were now in the deli game. I grab a menu and begin to peruse, the nask her, knowing she’d be honest, «What’s good? She goes into this whole littany about how they roast all their own turkey & chicken, make homemade soups, etc Folks, this ain’t just sandwich meat! Narrowing it down between the cheessteak & the Big Will, I’m not sure which one to get. My buddy agreed, so we split the sandwiches. The cheessteak was outstanding… likely one of the best I’ve ever had in this city. That said, the Big Will(turkey, bacon, cheeses, etc) was EVENBETTER! Service was outstanding. Friendly and helpful, to say the very least. At one point, Christy actually brought out a sample of the tomato basil soup saying«Hey, I noticed you didn’t order any soup… I’d like you to try this». I’m not sure her motives were entirely altruistic… kinda like the crack dealer who gives the first hit free, she probably knew we’d be hooked. Yes, people… it IS that good! While we were there, I noticed that they have a good group of regular customers… that speaks volumes to me. If people come back, it means these folks are definitely doing something right. Try the Wetmore Deli. Get the soup and sandwich, and don’t forget the ginormous cookie to top it off!
