So as much as I hate to admit it, this Wal-Mart is pretty good. The store is clean and the staff were friendly. Fixed my eyeglasses for no charge. In and out in 5 minutes.

Hate it that they have a lot of cashier lanes and only use a couple, even if the lines are long

This appears to be a Bi-polar Walmart. My husband had great help from Arlene purchasing artisan bread and wine and I had Orelia. The word Hag comes to mind. She’s apparently the«customer service» manager?!? Awful service. Rude. I can think of many descriptive words but I’ll keep it ladylike. Diana,(in customer service) on the other hand, WONDERFUL sales clerk in customer service. It’s sad that great employees have to make up for the ones who should stick to stocking shelves with their lack of people skills.

This is one of the most friendly walmarts I have been to in a long time! Our cashier was very nice and everyone that helped us find what we were looking for were helpful and courteous.

This Walmart is not very safe. My mother was waiting for the bus where she lives and 2 girls were trying to get money from her. Today a lady that lives where my mom lives was waiting for their bus and a man took all of her bags and ran.

If hell was a place on earth… it would be this store. I usually go here at night on purpose, just to not have to deal with lines or unruly kids, but between the UTSA crowd and the internationals I find myself asking«which aisle is baby powder on?» These internationals let their kids run around screaming, shouting and running into people and when you go to checkout they only have the self-checkout lines going and there’s ALWAYS an issue(it’s usually with the weight of an item as if the scale doesn’t register it properly you have to wait for assistance and of course, there’s only one person working). When I went to leave there was a group of internationals that apparently recognized each other and so right there at the only pair of functioning doors they are LITERALLY standing on opposite sides meaning to exit I had to excuse myself and walk thru the middle of their conversation because they lack the common sense to move off to the sides and not congregate in front of the only pair of working doors to enter/exit a store.

This Walmart seriously sucks. Whenever we grocery shop here and are about to leave with our cart full of groceries the employee that stands near the door ALWAYS makes us stop and asks for our receipt, every time… And we shop here very frequently like once a week… Funny thing is I never see them stop anyone else and ask for their receipt. I find it very annoying and insulting that we have been picked out to be harassed just because we buy a lot of groceries at once… Ontop of that most of the employees are rude, look miserable(I mean I guess I understand I wouldn’t want to work for Walmart either) but they could at least try to act a little more friendly.

Waiting in auto center for almost 4 hours for tires. They still have not even started on my vehicle. 3 hours ago, there were supposedly 6 cars in front of me. There is still a car in front of me. Never again.

If I could give this Walmart zero stars I would. I mean the lines are always long w only 4 cashiers. And to top it off today I tried to call and check the status of my online order and it took almost an hour. In that hour I kept getting put on hold & asked what I needed and I kept repeating myself & told the lady that she kept putting me on hold, and she says, «ok please hold«I’m furious. This Walmart needs to get it’s stuff together no one wants to wait an hour just to check the status of an order. I might as well just go in person!!! Never again!!! They take forever and a day for everything.

I absolutely loved my experience here today. I had to send some money so ended up in the money center. It’s set up nicely to where it runs very smooth. The main highlight today was Gloria. She really did make a mundane trip great with her highly, positive attitude! She brightened the rest of my day with her great customer service skills. I hope life keeps her smiling :)

I absolutely dislike walmart! This one is especially rough. You’d think this one would be better because it’s not on the bad side of town but it’s not. I live within 5 mins from here and refuse to go to Walmart. I’d rather spend a little more at target for better quality products, better service, clean facility and safety. I’m sorry but this Walmart attracts some rough folks. You know those pictures you see online for Walmart fails? Yeah… Just walk around this one for the live show.

I stopped coming here months ago. And now I know why… Yes here. I am standing here waiting for assistance. I have rang the buzzer twice. I have talked to an employee who verbally called in the request. I even called the store. I paused from writing this review to flag down another employee. Nobody wants to wait over ½ an hour for assistance. This is starting to feel like the DMV!

Hmm interesting that the hours of operations is 24 hours, yet the dressing rooms close at 9/10pm. Not the smartest business decision but I guess I shouldn’t be trying to buy clothing from Walmart last minute for a trip.

I shop here at least twice a week it’s about 2 miles away from my apartment and definitely cheaper than Target and HEB even though I sometimes prefer HEB if buying meet or fruits

Nice clean store with helpful staff. Great selection of automotive items, but their sporting goods selection isn’t well stocked. I was looking for cheap sunglasses to go fishing in the Aquifer, but they didn’t have any. Thanks, a lot Wally. There goes my fishing staycation!

I don’t like grocery shopping at Wal-mart anymore, it really stresses me out that on a Saturday(when most people shop) they only have like 10⁄30 of their lanes open. When you have a small child, shopping can be awful, but it makes it even worse when you have to wait 20 minutes in the line to get checked out. Some employees are friendly while others aren’t friendly at all. Overall, everything in this Wal-mart is nicely organized. I like when the garden center entrance is open and I only need something from that side of the store, I don’t have to wander through the grocery area or near the front check outs if I just need to be in and out fast. The clearance section they’ve implemented over the past few months is fantastic. You can find it near the check-outs in front of the women’s clothing. Lots of cereals, canned items, etc. for extremely cheap. I once got name-brand cereal for $ 1.00 per box, no reason why — they were just clearing out cereals and we got really lucky! Needless to say, I have a year supply of cereal in my pantry. You just have to go at the right time! I’ve been shopping here for many years since I moved to San Antonio, so this Wal-mart is my favorite since I know where everything is and know everyone who works there. There are some things that could/should be changed though!
