Pier One Imports

I shop at Pier one all of the time. The customer services is always great!!! Clean store, clean bathrooms. Sales are rare, items are overpriced, and if you do not weigh under 110 lbs, good luck navigating through the tight isles. PierOne does a poor job of laying out the store to provide the customer with a comfortable shopping experience They are more worried about cramming 9 793 843 items into the store.: (

I absolutely love the stuff they have at Pier 1. It’s just too bad that it’s pretty costly even with their so called «sales». Every once in a while I’m come across a really good deal in their sale section but most times I don’t walk away feeling like I got a good deal.
The service at this location is always lacking as well. The staff never smiles nor do they say thank you. I hate places where you feel like if you were to ask for assistance you’d be bothering them. That’s how the staff here ALWAYS makes me feel. Perhaps management is to blame.
This location can also be pretty disorganized and cluttered. Random stuff placed everywhere and random carts of things amongst other things. I can’t stand clutter when I’m shopping. Makes me feel overwhelmed so I try to get out of there quickly.
So once again they have nice things, though costly and their staff needs an attitude makeover for sure.

This one seems to have more in stock than the Bandera store.
Return/​exchange couldn’t be easier. Be sure to have your receipt; find the item you need; head to the register … Done!
Plenty of parking and close to similar stores if you can’t find exactly what you need.
Also, if you know another Pier 1 has an item you need, any location can order things for you.
Always helpful employees.

After quite a few drop bys over the years, I recently made a few purchases here. I got an amazing rug that I adore — I mean — completely love. It was a bit more than I wanted to pay for, perhaps $ 10 overpriced. However, I am glad I got it and get compliments often. It has held up nicely in a high traffic area and is so colorful and eye catching, a great purchase.
I also bought a candle with a scent I don’t usually go for, a kitchen friendly scent of lemon and sage. It gave nearly no scent when burned and I was very disappointed.
Overall, I love the items in the store but think that most of the selection is over priced and mass produced, while still very pretty but I would usually rather shop local.

I love Pier 1. Can you find similar artsy, ethnic, exotic pillows, furniture, wall hangings together all in one place? Doubtful… I love just walking in, seeing the new items. The Huebner store IS cramped *as all Pier 1’s are* but more so than normal.
Their staff there is excellent. Informative, helpful and knowledgable.
This location is right across the road from the movie theater, facing Marble Slab and Le Madeliene.
