I went there Saturday night. Had a blast. The music is mainly from the 80’s. The ladies restrooms were really gross around midnight, you know how they can get they run out toilet paper and others have sooooooo much toilet paper cramped in them they won’t flush. There was like only 3 that we could use. So I went to front to complain and the lady told me to report it to the guy out front that we show our ID cards to and to make sure he stamps my hand so I can return. So I did. The guy said he take care of it. I wasn’t really expecting any results. …but I went back to the restroom later and was happy to see all the stalls were occupied. Meaning they were fixed So ladies it pays report restrooms instead of just complain about it I also found someone’s phone in the bathroom. I took a photo of myself before turning it in at the front desk. Always recheck behind in the bathroom for yr phone, next time it might not be an honest person that finds yr phone

I just went for the first time on Saturday 4÷4÷15. Great 80’s/90’s music smoothly mixed, several music video screens, excellent bartenders who appreciate patrons with good taste-one remembered my Grey Goose with soda and lime, and even replaced a drink that someone took. The people are a mix of age 20’s-60’s and a mix of style-some dressed nicely, some dressed pretty skanky, and the dancing styles matched the clothes in both cases. But most people were polite and nice. The club is big, painted with 80’s movie pics and cocktails named after 80’s movies. Free parking, only $ 5 to get in and good drink specials.

Celebrated my Bday last Saturday night with about 10 of us! Reserved VIP section in advance with Irene thru phone, who is so great to work with and everything worked out smooth. We did bottle service(which was really excellent in service and pricing) Michelle was our waitress, she was great, it was a packed night but she really did well in serving the couple beer drinkers in my group! We tipped her well! We had a great evening. Music was outstanding, danced all night and DJ was very accomidating i must add he even walked around asking what songs we would like to hear. That is a very nice touch makes you just MUSTCOMEBACK! Thanks Industry we will be Back 4-SURE. P. S. the only down i would have to say is the ladies room needs better up keeping and so did the men’s room from what my hubby told me but you know on a packed Saturday night i honestly haven’t been to a place that keeps up with rest rooms around here, to be honest i think I“ve only seen it done at a Las Vegas Night Club! :-)

I prefer thurs nights music & crowd but I notice prices are never the same. Tonight 1 well &1 beer $ 3.50, next time we got 1 beer it was $ 3, then the 2 drinks went up to $ 6, next beer $ 3.50. Thats one of reasons for the lower score.

This place was hyped up by the radio, they were playing really good jams so me and my girl decided to go by, well we waited in line for about ten minutes just so that this tough guy bouncer could tell me I was not gonna get in cause I was wearing a white t shirt… it was a super cool gap v neck that wasn’t even white, was more egg shell than anything… a f ing V NECK really this place was nothing to even brag about from the outside… Never made it inside but a bunch of old women that possibly we’re kick out off bogeys were allowed in so if your into that kind off scene that by all means… plus apparently white is the new gangster color so… f the industry club and there no «white t shirt(it was a V neck) rule… I sure didn’t see no $ 40,000 and up vehicles out there any ways to be enforcing a stupid rule like that… I had on Japanese denim on they were selvage jeans so boo to the industry. Unless your 45 and up

If I could do 0 stars I would. me and my hubby used to love this club since it was the best place for the new wave 80’s and some industrial and goth andsome of today but I knew it. I admit it has been over a year since we went but decided to go tonight. wow! have things changed. it is now Tejano and bad urban rap/break dance music? I sometimes heard this crap in the big room. but the small room was there to play the cool stuff they advertise. i think DJ Danny wants to play what he wants to hear… Also they used to have computers so you can request songs – gone now. I spent 60 bucks tonight, drinks.gas.and came out with no drunk feeling since the music was a downer… Well another club I do not like. think there are no other 80’s clubs anymore. Guess at this point putting on music at my place for free and dancing is the best option.

I came here on a Saturday night to celebrate a friend’s 30th bday. They have no cover before 9pm. Beers are $ 3, margaritas are $ 2. Go there early and you’ll hear plenty of good tunes from the 80s. Stay late and you’ll be forced to endure a mix of today’s popular music like LMFAO, Britney Spears, Taio Cruz, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, Rhianna, Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5, Katy Perry as well as some booty music like Tag Team, 95 South and 69 Boyz. Oh and… Tejano music?! WTF? If I wanted to listen to that I’d stay on the southside instead of coming to the northside to hear that, come on mr DJ! You had it right with the 80s music. But then it got crowded with more people so give the masses what they want, right? Oh well at least you can listen to the difference about how music sounded like then compared to now. The place isn’t ghetto and there are lots of gorgeous women dressed to impress. Guys if you have any visible tattoos like on your neck you won’t be allowed inside. Funny because I saw one guy with his right arm nearly covered. Oh and a little FYI there are no doors inside the bathroom stalls so if you have to take a number 1 or god forbid a number 2, your privacy is guaranteed to be violated. Can you say awwwwkwaaaarrrrrdddddddd!!!

Ok, so there are times when you just want to shake your groove thing. Industry allows just that. This place is located just south of the medical center off Callaghan, and not too far from a Chacho’s so if you need some post dance eats, you’re good! It is in an industrial park(hence Industry?) and other reviewers have remarked on the awkward door placement. Do take at least $ 5 cash, as that is the cover! There are two rooms, oen with a large bar and the bona fide dance floor with the requisite minimum of 8 disco balls, and a smaller one. I’ve only been on Friday nights, and there’s a hodgepodge of bachelorettes, 80’s throwback dudes in pleated pants dancing by themselves, and girls working booty shorts and stillettos. But the best thing is that there is absolutely not an ounce of pretension in the joint! Fridays are a blend of 80’s r&b and hip hop interspersed with all things Pitbull. Even if you don’t like to dance, but like to people watch, this is the place to do it. I usually don’t drink at nightclubs, so I can’t comment on the quality of the mixed drinks or the pricing, but I know they serve beer and that there is a veritable buffet of bottles. There is a parking lot, and some street parking is available. There are some bouncers, but I’ve never had to wait to get in.

I decided to check out the Industry on a Friday night(12 August 2011). The club is not much to look at on the outside, but it is actually pretty nice on the inside and very spacious. I LOVED that there was no smoking!!! The air was clean and no musty smells. There are two rooms for dancing. One room is significantly larger than the other and plays mostly hip-hop mash ups. The other room was playing 80s hits that night. Both rooms have a bar and people were dancing. The crowd was diverse in age, but I would have to say it was more 30 – 50 year olds than folks in their 20s(like me). The cover was only $ 5 and the drinks were very reasonably priced. I went there with a date and we both had a good time. The club also has a deal with a taco company who sells cheap tacos as you are coming out of the club(very good idea). I would recommend this place to friends and go back with a larger group of people.

Thursdays have great DJs, music and drink specials. The two rooms are great to dance in and when you don’t like one side you most likely like the other. No smoking makes it not so much fun anymore but the cheap, good drinks are always a plus. Although it can get hot inside, after you get to dancing and drinking it doesnt matter anymore! If you are a fan of 80s new wave, goth or industrial I highly recommend it!

Went to this place for our lil after party of marriage on a Saturday. We had a VIP section(12 ppl) right under the DJ booth and honestly it was the best spot in the place. The place is non smoking and that is a big plus for us. If you love the good 80’s/90’s & current hip hop music you’ll love this place. We didnt go looking for a partner to dance with since we had couples with us so we werent to worried about the way people looked there. We were there soly to dance with our significant others. We had an age group between 21 – 38. The only one thing I would say could have helped would have been a cocktail waitress this way our dates wouldn’t need to leave us from dancing! Everyone had such a good time there. There was no drama and a very respectful crowd. This is our #1 place now :) Enjoy…

The best thing is the 80’s music and videos. I haven’t seen some of those vids in 25 years. I just felt like«the old guy at the club» but everyone there seemed to be too old for a club! At my age I don’t wait 3 deep in line at a bar waiting to pay for my drink. I’ve earned someone bringing my drink to me. I’ll pass.

Club’s far from ghetto. But it’s NON-SMOKINGNOW! So if you feel like just smelling like your natural body odor, not having to wash your hair or clothes, no watery-stingy eyes, or not having a strange fluid-y cough and hoarse voice then this place is for you. Edit: lol, couple minutes after writing this and checking this clubs website and checking my cash I have left, I knew I wasn’t crazy! $ 0.75WELLS! 75¢ WELLS! .75¢ wells!!! On Thursdays! Un-freaking believable! $ 3 cover on Thursday and the music is a mis-mash of electronica, indie rock, and 80s new wave. Paper planes, Satisfaction, Take Me Out, Fancy Footwork, some song by Deadmau5, etc. It turns into a moody, tattooed, punk limelight. Yep, they accept cash only at the door and have that ATM by the door. LAME. There are two dance rooms; one was strictly for new wave and then the much bigger and packed one for the mis-mash music. Best thing is on Thursday fun young people come out! 20 somethings Thursday is our night! They had a Betty Page look-a-like contest. I’ve been to the Industry twice on Saturdays and it’s 30 – 50 with patches of 20 something and groups of sad pedo-men just standing and waiting for a 20 something to want anything from them. Also Saturday is really almost an entirely Latino demographic, sometimes the DJ plays Salsa and Spanish(?) favorites? Sux at times, makes ppl rush to or from the dance floor. Good for a breather until the mis-mash comes back. Its something to try on different nights and change your opinion. I like it.

I like The Industry. It plays New Wave(on Thursday or Friday nights), which I love, and there’s always dancing going on. I love that. However, the 75 cent wells are equivalent to drinking ice. They play videos on projectors, too. On Friday nights, it’s really difficult to get a drink at the bar for the most part. The crowd is largely under 30, by the way. I’ve heard that a dress code is enforced, but I can’t figure out what kind, because I see people wearing, sneakers, skirts, shorts, anything. Overall, I like it here, and go whenever I get the chance with a group of people.

I do not recommend this bar to anyone under the age of 35. I went about 11:30pm on a Saturday night and could not even find the door. The front door is actually on the far side of the building which actually resembled an alley(probably because it was an alley). When I finally found the door I saw the line. Lines out the door NORMALLY equals a happening place(see, even the 1980’s lingo rubbed off on me! Ugggg…) but once inside you realized it was really a way to make it SEEM as though it was a happening place. I paid a $ 5 cover — which actually equaled an $ 8 cover since they only take cash but conveniently have an ATM right beside the cash register at the front door. So they have an ATM but cant afford a credit card machine? Or is that just another way to make a few extra bucks before we even get in the door? You decide. Everyone did seem to be having a good time once inside. The music went back and forth between 80’s, 90’s and then some crazy, hard-core rap. LOL… kind of different but not too bad, I guess. I must admit, it was weird to see people doing the same dance moves to Ice Cube and David Bowie within a minute’s time. I felt mildly out of place because everyone around me seemed to be around 50 but seemed to act 20. Definitely a twilight zone kind of thing. Signs at the front door seemed to imply there was a dress code but people inside seemed to scream out the complete opposite message. Maybe they brought their other clothes and changed in the bathroom. Hey, don’t hate, I used to do it in highschool! Maybe that’s coming back too! I didn’t drink but did pay $ 2 for about 3 oz of sprite and ice… I left around 1:00am when the place seemed to be emptying out but when I walked outside there was a line of about 50 people wrapped around the building. Why? It was about ¾ of the way full when I got there and by now had already started to empty. There’s no way they were at capacity. So, either the bouncers were trying to get people to pay a little extra to get in, or they can’t count when applying the«one in, one out» rule. Etiher way it wasn’t cool… I chuckled and shook my head on the way out. All in all it’s not my kind of place but people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Not my type of crowd by a long shot but anyone over 35 that wants to wait in line for a relaxed atmosphere/dresscode and smiling tipsy faces of youthful 50 yr olds, this is your spot ;)
