A bar brawl near San Antonio’s Medical Center early Saturday morning resulted in a shooting that put one man in University Hospital with life-​threatening injuries.
The shooting took place during a large bar fight that had broken out in the parking lot of 3Bar, shortly after 2 a.m.
According to San Antonio police, an unknown suspect fired several rounds at Tony Torres, 29, hitting him twice. Torres then got into a car with another bar patron, who flagged down a passing police officer.
Emergency medical services were called to the scene and determined that Torres had suffered life-​threatening injuries. Police described him as «uncooperative and evasive.»

3 Bar has been hyped up on 98.5 the beat for quite some time now. After hearing it was decent on Thursdays from friends I decided to check it out. Wearing my usual button up with a tie and chucks I make my way to the door with a friend. Tonight the bouncer decides he’s going to be a hardass «That’s a no go on the shoes». Apparently you need to be wearing dress shoes to get in on a Thursday «College Night». As I look behind me at the ghost town and invisible line at midnight I head to a much better bar (Area 31) .
So next Thursday comes around the corner I decide to give 3 Bar another go. Show up practically wearing a tuxedo to get in to this alleged «popping club/​bar». I walk up to the door that is once again line less with a couple friends and enter the club. As I walk in I can’t help but laugh… place is popping with all of 6 – 7 people in the V.I.P section with the dance floor completely empty. In my head I’m like is this a motha fucking joke? At this point I just wanna buy a quick drink and get the fuck out of here. I try to pass a worker sitting down on a stool next to some broke ass 1970 cash til the size of a television and get stopped. Jokes? no sir «There’s a cover tonight». I immediately let my «boys» know the place is straight busted and head out.
Overall I give 3 Bar one star because it is kinda nice inside. They got a dance floor with lights and shit… even a bar… and a V.I.P section.
If your looking to drop that week pay check to get in and buy some drinks or grind the night away with some hood rat girls… on the nights they do show up… this is the spot on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night.
Oh and that post by Andrew B. is fake as fuck… knows all the inner workings of the bar wtf. Who remembers their bartenders name? Prolly sipping on that puss mineral water all night.

Highly impressed… Very clean atmosphere, 3 levels including a VIP lounge, Dance Floor, and a Sports Lounge… Met with the owner and he was present, such as any new bar should have owner/​management present. As I have heard their July 30^th is their grand opening… My bartender was Annette and she was awesome and extremely attentive and I highly recommend anyone going to her… Also I’m a smoker and they don’t have smoking inside which is awesome with me… This way I don’t need to worry about smelling like an ashtray walking around… This place is a must if your on the NW side of town near the medical center…
