Great fence, not great customer service. Work was mostly done in one day. If you use them, I’d recommend not paying in full until the work is completed and you are satisfied. It will be difficult to get them back out again.

Texas Quality Fence installed a fence for me via Arrowhead Lawn Care LLC. I had a note left on my door saying the neighbor was getting their fence done, and if I wanted my done as well it would save us both money. We need it, so figured we would jump on board. Estimate was sent to me quickly after talking with Arrowhead Lawn Care LLC. Planned to have the fence installed while I was away on vacation. They showed up when they said they would, and sent me a few photo’s when it was done. I must include, it turned out one of the owners of Arrowhead Lawn Care purchased the house next to me. They remodeled it to rent, and had to put up a new fence to make it safe. That is why the neighbor did not complain about their fence quality like me as you will read below. When I got home and inspected the fence, that is when it went bad. The crew left a HUGE mess in not only my yard, but my neighbors and the greenbelt behind my house. Food wrappers were left on my pack patio and when we got back from out trip, ants were all over out rear sliding door because of it. There were loose panels on the fence, gates needed to be lifted to closed, and worst of all there was no center 2×4 installed along the back sides of the panels. I could push the panels 3 to 4 inches because they had no support in the back. I called the person I dealt with from Arrowhead Lawn Care and showed him pictures. He agreed with me, and said his fence crew would call me. That is when I found out it was Mike with Texas Quality Fence was the installer. He called and said he was sending his crew back out to take care of the issues. He sent them out on a day my wife and I had work. I really wanted to be there after the first mess, but couldn’t due to work. The came out the day they said, but only put up the middle row of 2×4’s. They used a different type of wood, missed some spans of the fence, and used a 8 foot length with a 2 foot scrap to span a 10 foot section between the two 4×4 poles. I must point out, there there isn’t supposed to be more than an 8 foot span between poles! A few of the poles also came loose already and the hole fence started leaning. Oh, they hit my neighbors house as well with a 2×4 and put a small hole in it. The list goes on… I told them again I was unhappy. The agreed to meet me and look over what they did. I had to take some time off of work to meet them. They came out when they said and listened to what I had to say. I could tell from the look on their faces that they didn’t care, and just wanted the rest of their payment. Claimed that a 2×4 could not have done the damage to my neighbors house, but it was clearly from them. She was hole when they did it and came out and saw it! They said that the crew would come back out. A few days later, I was home with guests and heard something outside. Before I knew it, my dogs in the backyard started going NUTS. The crew had walked right in my backyard. I tried to talk to them, and only one could speak English. I asked if they were here to fix the fence, they said yes. I went inside so I wasn’t being rude to my guests. After pouring some cement for the loose poles and adding the missing 2×4, they left! I intended to point out some of the other things to make sure they were done, but they left without telling me. A call again to Arrowhead, and the guy started being kind of rude with me on the phone. Crew came out one more time and I made sure they«fixed» the issues. More or less, the repairs were hack jobs. If I could upload pictures, I would. Maybe dealing with Texas Quality Fence directly is a better experience, but for me going through Arrowhead Lawn Care, it was a nightmare. The fence has been in for a month, and already has some lean to it, and is wavy. I will be sure to do my research next time, and get a place that used American workers. The cedar planks they used look high quality. They did show up when they said they would. My calls/text/e-mails were responded to and I was not really left hanging at any point. That’s the only reason why I’m giving 2 stars, and not 1.
