Really Good burgers at a fair price. The French fries were also really good. The only small complaint that I have is that the patty was a little thin, so I wish I would have gotten a double.

Great burgers! Forget Chris Madrid’s. Try the Philly Cheese steak. Fries are nothing special but better than average. Good local joint.

Was an ok burger joint. For the price I expected the burgers to taste different, flavorful and juicy. Idk I felt like I wasted money and could have just made my own for cheaper. Wouldn’t return with the competition out here will seek out a better burger joint.

A great burger place with fast and courteous service. I had cheese burger with chilli cheese fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and was nice and juicy. The fries were crisp, i will try the onion rings next time. I am not on this side of town much but if I am I will be back.

Best. Burgers. Ever! Been here a few times and the last two visits have been hands down, the most delicious! Fresh. Flavorful. Friendly staff. Clean. For some reason, the fountain root beer is the best I’ve ever had. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a tasty, one of a kind, burger. Do it. Do it. Do IT!!!

The burgers are HUGE, tasty and relatively cheap. Add an order of fries or onion rings and it’s heaven. Nothing pretentious here. It’s not the place to go if you don’t want to get burger juice in a starched shirt but run to this place if you want one of the best burgers in SA. There may be new places that advertise better quality meat but few can make a better burger.

Texas Hamburger Company is one of the old fashioned burger shops. They don’t do anything fancy or outrageous like BurgerFi or Shake Shack. You can come here with the expectation of a simple satisfying Burger that’s better than fast food. What is great about THC is you can customize your order and also have your choice of onion rings, tots, and fries. I know I maybe give an average ratio but it’s nothing to knock this establishment. I just felt that there was nothing to distinguish it from anything else.

It was okay. I had the double cheeseburger. The meat was pretty good but the bun was stale and kinda hard. I just ended up eating the meat with a fork. I also had the sweet potato fries which were not special at all, they tasted like out of the freezer. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich which she said was not bad, but there was way more bun then chicken. Staff was nice but I probably won’t go back again. This place was no Chester’s.

Stopped in on a Saturday night around six looking for a quick meal. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. I stuck with a basic cheeseburger and my husband elected to try the green chile burger. Our wait time was about 10 minutes. I enjoyed my food very much, though it’s important to note that I enjoy thin hamburger patties and that was the main reason I liked it so much. My husband’s burger bun fell apart immediately after he picked it up for a first bite. He wasn’t too impressed. Overall I would rate it as an average place. The fries were okay, the jalapeño poppers were okay. I didn’t feel as though I had«wasted» my money, but with other options like Chunky’s and Chester’s close by I probably won’t be back.

I have been coming to THC for over ten years now and I have seen some of the changes in the interior but never the food. Parents ordered a small hamburger with fries and I ordered the cheeseburger with fries and my favorite drink– Red Flash. The wait wasn’t too long at the most it’s about 5 minutes, being that the restaurant was dead. Food was fresh and mouth watering! The fries are home-made. They taste amazing. I believe this place is a hamburger hidden gem in San Antonio. People need to seriously try this place other thank Chris Madrids or your average fast food restaurants.

The green chile burger hit the spot. If there’s something with green chile on a menu, I’m ordering it. On this burger they’re not just plain chopped up, they’re in a cream sauce kind of like the one I make during Hatch Chile season in August. The fries and onion rings were fresh. We went at after the lunch rush, very few people there so the food came fast.

You haven’t been here?! What’s wrong with you? I have two incredibly important words for you: TURKEY. BACON. You can get your burger with it. You can have loaded fries with cheese and, you guessed it, Turkey Bacon. Can I just tell you how happy this makes my little non-pork-eating heart? I’m so used to going to places where I have to avoid awesome things because of pork. Not here. And! AND! The food is delicious, the service is spectacular, and THEYDELIVER! Go. Now!

My hubby and I picked up food here a few days ago for dinner. We both got cheeseburgers and shared an order of fries. They were OK. Sortof your standard pre-formed beef patty, I dont want to assume that they were frozen but they tasted like a standard frozen burger to me. FYI my husband enjoyed the heck out of his burger. The buns were good, and fries weren’t bad, they were nicely fried, and maybe needed a little salt. Overall, they have a very convenient location for us and are quite affordable(about $ 16 for two cheeseburgers, grilled onions, and fries), but the food alone wont likely draw me back.

I NOT a big fan of burgers. I think that’s my less favorite food but my hubby loves burgers so after his doctor’s appointment, we decided to give it a try & what was my surprise… Texas Hamburger Company makes the most delicious burgers!!! I had the Chili cheeseburger & oh boy!!! It melted in my mouth!!! I couldn’t get enough of it! I didn’t want the bites to end!!! I don’t think I have ever finished a burger in my life before & this one I devoured in a blink!!! My hubby had the double bacon cheese burger & was just as delicious & juicy!!! So much flavor & the bun is so buttery!!! Oh and they also have the best onion rings & fries!!! This place was a great find!!! I will keep coming from Boerne for your burgers, onion rings & fries!!! Thanks for changing my mind about burgers!!!

So I visited Texas Hamburger Co for National Cheeseburger day and wasn’t a fan. Even though the menu on the wall made it seem anything was possible for a delicious cheeseburger at this place they couldn’t seem to manage cooking my burger to a medium rare temp. Maybe saying couldn’t is incorrect. But they flat out said they only cook it one way, period. Since the patty was super thin, cooking to medium well just made it dry and bland. While eating my burger I was mainly getting the flavor of all the veggies, the burger was definitely the least flavorful. It wasn’t very busy when I arrived but they were turning off lights and closing down an hour early, because they had ran out of burgers. Thankfully I had missed the rush! After a while it kinda seemed like they had forgotten about me. After refilling my drink and half way through the second one, my number was finally called. The fries were okay and getting into my meal I realized the staff was tired and done for the day. It was showing in the food. Either that or it’s always this way. In which case I’m not a fan and don’t need to return.

Came here to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day. It wasn’t the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had. We walked in, and the cashier was talking to one of the cooks about the meat in the cooler. I saw him tell the cook that the meat was«fine,» and he plunged his finger in the middle of the patty, leaving a thumbprint in it. He didn’t wash his hands between handing customer transactions, and touching the food. Then, he wiped his finger on his pants, rang me up, took my credit card without washing his hands after handling raw meat, and got e. coli or salmonella on my new credit card. Ew. The meat was cooked well done. We requested medium rare. They said that they couldn’t accommodate special requests on how the meat is cooked. They do it all the same way. The patty was rather thin, and unflavored. The buns weren’t toasted, so they got all soggy and fell apart mid-bite. They had to close early, since they ran out of meat. I shudder to think where they scrounged up the meat for our burger, especially if they had to get it inspected by the cashier, who deemed it «fine.» The fries were floppy, not crisp like I like ‘em. No seasoning was evident. The place was clean. The food came out after a significant delay. We wondered if they had run out. They have a nice upstairs area, where if you want to go for a group meeting or something, they can seat a big group. They have all kinds of cool maps on the walls for decoration. Someone is a cartographer or something. The other décor is random old stuff– an old stove, a large scale. It didn’t make any sense. I’m not coming back.

After my second time eating there, it’s still fantastic! The bacon is cooked just right, crispy! The burgers are seasoned and cooked nicely, still juicy. The onion rings were battered perfectly, and were quite large! The fries are freshly cut and cooked to a nice golden brown. They aren’t crispy, but are definitely fresh! Highly recommend this restaurant for the burgers/fries/onion rings. Might have to try their milkshakes next time. They open at 10:30, and I got there about 11. My family and I were the only ones there at first, but around 11:30, there’s a large line, so get there early, unless you don’t mind waiting in line.
