does the company even exist? Robert Chandler Smith came to our house on 7⁄23 to appraise our house. My dad paid him $ 475 and he said he would get back to him in a few days. Weeks went by, with many phone calls and emails. Finally Robert emailed back saying he was in the hospital and would refund the money… over one month later and no refund. Oh yeah, but Robert was healthy enough to cash our check 2 days after the appraisal… We drove to the address listed on the brochure and turns out to be a Copy Post and Ship store… The number is a toll free number where no one answers.

If your looking for a low appraisal on your home this is a great company. The appraiser Robert was rude to work with and extremely slow in getting back the appraisal. When we finally did receive it I was shocked at how low it seemed and felt like I needed to get a second opinion. The comps he used were a joke, I felt like he has just rushed and thrown something together to get it done. So after having to spend the money on a second apppraisal (which I’m glad I did) it came back at $ 155,000. more! We sold our house after 4 days at full asking price, its scary to think how much money we could have lost if we would have stuck with the appraisal from this company!
