The owner is very sweet and checks on you to ensure you’re having a pleasant experience and enjoying your food. It’s nice to see someone take so much pride in their restaurant. They’re a newly opened restaurant so they’re still working things out and starting up but that did not effect the quality of their food.
I ordered fried chicken wings and waffles. It was delicious. I loved their fried chicken wings, the batter was flavorful and crisp. Next time I come back I’m just going to order fried chicken.
My friend ordered the meat loaf with a side of mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Everything was prepared like in a homestyle kitchen and you can tell that quality is important to them. It was like having a family dinner more than it was just going out to a diner.
Together both of our dinners were just under $ 20 which is such a good deal. They only accept MasterCard and Visa, so plan accordingly. The portions aren’t huge or overwhelming; it’s enough food to be full but you won’t have leftovers. Like I said, it’s like eating a family dinner and the quality of food is superb.

This place is reasonably priced, and tasty. (Haha) It’s not pretentious. The chairs are comfortable and it’s very clean. The owners are friendly. They are still learning how to run a restaurant, but I hope this place stays open. The food is a little inconsistent in the quality– but it’s never bad. It kind of reminds me of really good diner food. The fried fish is my favorite.

Everything is beyond good, then I tried chocolate cake the best I’ve ever ever ever had !!! The prices great… the owners make you feel at home extremely nice .it was the best home cook meal not being at home… I’m coming back and telling all !!!

They have a great menu selection for breakfast and lunch, including daily lunch specials, and almost everything is under $ 10!
For lunch, I got the fried pork chop with Mac n cheese, fried okra, and corn bread. Mac and cheese was absolutely delicious and the breading on the pork chop was light, crispy, and cooked just right.
I look forward to going back for another TASTE.
