This place is without a doubt a hole in the wall. But the people are attentive and very nice. Cons: Food is under seasoned. Specifically, the menudo and the tongue and head tacos. With extra seasoning, it would be fantastic. Pros: Best pastor tacos ever! Cabeza tacos were tender and fatty. Tripe in menudo was well cooked. Great agua de Sandia. Amazing! Husband loves the piña too. Fajita beef was tasty but over cooked.

This place is authentic, forget about the mobile taco trucks. This place is stationary and awesome. Sure it might be too real for the trendy set, but its the real deal. It’s got everything, Christmas garland, picnic tables, a little girl on a tricycle, brooms, blankets de San Marcos, Paraiso de Mexico, blue plate award from WOAI, and all the raspa truck delights you can dream of(sans Woodlawn lake). The mini tacos are the draw. Enjoy!
