Skip this place. Too much lard in tortillas. Chiozo migas plate, egg WAY over cooked. Chips are STALE! Salsa was good though. It says best bean and cheese in town… ok if you think that you haven’t had REAL Mexican food. Trash Can Taco is labeled«a little bit of everything» ummmmmm 6 ingredients makes up all your tacos on menu? Wasn’t that good. Sorry. $ 19 I will never get back.

Excellent food! Fresh tortillas, salsas, guacamole and chips. Some of the best salsa I’ve ever had. Give it a chance & you won’t regret it. Great quality and value.

My husband and I get breakfast tacos here frequently, and they are delicious! The Carne guisada a la mexicana is outstanding. We also enjoy the potato and egg, bean and cheese, and chorizo and egg a la mexicana. The cheese and beef enchiladas are great too. The line for the drive-through on Saturday and Sunday morning can get kind of long, just an FYI.

My favorite Sunday morning/afternoon breakfast spot. Their barbacoa is not super fatty and it’s delicious. Their ranchero sauce is my favorite in San Antonio hands down!

Such great tacos! And such reasonable prices! Easy to get to. Tons of salsa options. I tend to see lots I people in here even during the week — it’s popular and I know why! Even the Coke tastes better here — not kidding. This is one of my favorite taco places in town: great tortillas, great beans, great potatoes…

My husband was really surprised by how delicious this place was. Especially for a place that offers drive thru! The line was super long all morning so we knew it had to be good. We ordered the flautas and chicken tacos… both we’re so good. If you’re in the area, try this place out.

I would come back here just for the borracho beans! The tacos we had were also fantastic and even the rice was good(and I don’t normally like any variety of Mexican rice.) The salsa bar and self serve chips were a yummy appetizer and we are both full, satisfied and already saying we must come back here again.

Mediocre, thin chewy tortillas; it was almost like eating a taco in a pita. The Barbacoa was definitely not worth 2.79. Flavorless and chewy. See the attached picture. I did not dine-in, I went through the drive-through In a city where you have a taco house on every street corner there are many that are much better than this.

Delicious tacos. Tried a variety of different types, but their trash can breakfast taco was pretty damn good!

An awesome little spot for breakfast tacos. I was in San Antonio to see my family for Christmas and my uncle mentioned that a shop serving one of Texas Monthly’s 100 Tacos To Try Before You Die(or something like that) was very nearby. We decided to get the trashcan taco for the day after Christmas breakfast. The shop was pretty busy despite coming in at 8AM on Saturday. The shop is located in a quiet little strip center, but the interior has a good number of tables and booths. Its pretty casual– you walk up to the counter, place your order, and either wait for your to go order or take a seat. I can’t speak about the lunch menu, but they have an awesome selection of breakfast tacos. I’m not a fan of the standard egg/potato/bacon taco you see everywhere so it was nice to see such a variety. I tried the trash can taco and the TNS special. The trash can was indeed a good taco, with much more flavor than most other breakfast tacos. I couldn’t tell exactly what was in it, since there was so much stuff(they describe it as ‘a little of everything’). I did prefer the TNS, which was a mix of potatoes, beef fajita, avocado, and cheese. It had a little more meat to it, but both tacos were great. One of the highlights of the visit was the salsa bar. There were at least 5 or 6 different kinds of salsa and pico. They range from totally mild to tinglingly spicy so make sure you pay attention to what you’re getting! The prices are pretty cheap and the«pricier»(talking about $ 2 – 2.50) tacos are much bigger and worth the money. Overall, a great place for tacos all around.

I went there for the first time this morning and just got two bean, cheese, and bacon tacos. I liked that they actually put a lot of cheese in there! I usually get mostly bean on my taco when I go to other places. Also, the actual tortilla was kinda small but it tasted good! The red salsa is SOFREAKINGOOD. So make sure you ask for some. They have a drive thru as well! It was pretty backed up today but what else do you expect on Sunday mornings? I felt like it still went pretty quick. I wanna try their other breakfast plates next time! So, I’ll definitely be going back!

I really like this place. I ordered the beef fajita nachos. The meat was tender and juicy. The outside was crispy and delicious. It came with the meat, queso, guacamole, beans and salsa. the chips tasted homemade. I will be making this a regular stop for dinner. I haven’t had their breakfast tacos but I’m sure they are yummy.

Spinach and chicken enchiladas with double borracho beans are my favorite thing to eat here. Chips and salsa are free if you dine inside. While the chips could be hotter(adding to that fresher mouth feel) the salsa bar has a good mix. I like the southwest Pico and their traditional salsa. The staff is very friendly and the food arrives quick. My company orders breakfast tacos here almost every Friday.

Really great TexMex, crispy chips and a selection of spicy condiments at the salsa bar really make this a place that we come back to. Tasty caldos and menudos, yummy filling tacos and friendly staff, clean atmosphere… a great place overall. It’s a small location but you can usually always find a spot to park and a table to sit at. If not, there’s a convenient drive-thru as well.

I am glad this location is here! I have only eaten their breakfast tacos but they are pretty good. Yes, they are pretty normal tacos but they’re good and consistent about taste. The best part is they have specials every day! The tacos on special are $ 0.89(I think. That’s what I paid last). Everyone at my work orders from here 2 – 3 times a week. We will definitely continue to come here for some good breakfast tacos and salsa!

I’m gonna keep this short and sweet: the tacos(especially the breakfast kind) and the salsa(particularly the classic red) are exceptionally good here. Shout to the carne guisada, which is also pretty phenom, don’t forget to add cheese. Service is friendly, drive-thru is convenient, double-check their hours before you go(they close at 2PM some days).

Every neighborhood needs a great taco place. They are usually straight forward, reasonably priced, and delicious. Lucky for me this place is just down the road. I used the drive thru at 6:40am ordered 8 tacos and I was in n out within 10 minutes. They are what you expect from breakfast tacos. I’ll definitely be coming back.
