Taco Cabana

This is a review specifically for this TC location… have had much better service and quality of food at the ones in Schertz and New Braunfels. Ordered in the drive-​thru, and asked to pull over and they’d bring my food out. No one behind me-​I hate that! I know they’re trying to «cheat» and beat the timer, but if they ask everyone to pull up… the manager doesn’t get a true estimate of service (or the lack thereof). They lose the sense of urgency if you’re not right there waiting. Small order for 2 people took 14 minutes. 14. And we were missing small things like sour cream and guac-​which could’ve been fixed easily if I hadn’t been asked to pull away from the drive thru window! Don’t waste your time at this location:(

Always friendly, fast service at this location. Portions seem a bit smaller than some other locations, though. Conveniently located near the bars in the Embassy Oaks area makes for a great late-​night snack after a night out.

Against my better judgement, I went to TC with co-​workers on 8÷7÷15. As per usual, the place was filthy. Majority of the tables were dirty, floor was dirty, salsa bar was a mess, etc… Of course, food quality was sub par as usual.
Taco Cabana, if you’re reading this, you need to clean up your restaurants. They are more often than not, extremely dirty. In fact, they’re gross.

This is the Tx version of taco bell. I did like the food. It was cheap enough. It was $ 18 for my sis and I to eat.

Fuck this place. The fajita meat was terrible and all three of our orders were wrong, how do you run out of salsa? Servers are super rude and obliviously hate their job. Took them 30 minutes and we were the only people in the drive through.

Alright, I haven’t stopped at a TC in a few years, but I needed a quick snack. I grabbed a beef fajita taco and a bean & cheese taco at the drive through. The bean & cheese was okay, same as they’ve always been, but the fajita was some rubbery gummy bear texture meat. Yeah, it was spiced right but what is this mystery meat? I might as well eat a chicken nugget from McDs.

Servers are rude. I needed a large order and decided to come here. They got all bent out of shape and acted as if they were doing me a favor. We were the only ones in the restaurant. It makes me wonder if maybe they were mad that they actually had to do their job.

Pretty much a standard TC– nothing special, but the restaurant is clean and there are always tables available. Food quality & staff attitude varies depending on who is working. Drive-​thru is okay, but be sure to ask for salsa as they might not include it automatically. Dirt cheap happy hour includes frozen margaritas (decent considering the price) and nachos (after a trip to the salsa bar, these can be pretty good).
One recent negative change: instead of having a strip of bacon in their breakfast tacos, they are now using chopped bacon. Meh!

My tacos were over loaded with food I had to use a fork to control any of it from spilling out!
I’ve had the same problem coming in late at night with crappy service. Its like they really don’t want the business!
I usually get my food to go as every fan is on high and I literally freeze!!! Most don’t complain about that sort of thing in Texas, I know.

At night this is possibly the slowest and worst service you will ever receive. I stood here for about 12 minutes in an empty restaurant before I was acknowledged. Then the lady didn’t know English. I had to point to the menu for her to understand what I wanted which was the super Tex Mex dinner. After a 22 minute wait, I got a cheese enchilada dinner. While I was waiting on my order 3 people walked out because they were never acknowledged. It was just pathetic. No apology or thank you. I wanted to complain but she wouldn’t have understood what I was saying.
