The best sushi in San Antonio. I love the fusion of flavors and the service. The rolls were so fresh tasting, and I like to call myself quite the sushi snob. It’s hard to find decent sushi out here, but I will be driving from New Braunfels to get it!

food looked good but had really no flavor … after we left our friends went there and got food poisoning literally an hour later I’m just glad we didn’t end up having the same dishes they had… not going back …

We came here on a Saturday night. It was not too busy. Dylan was our server and he did an excellent job. The sushi was great. The Noe roll was very good but a little too spicy for me. The James roll was also very good. My daughter got the spider roll and some California rolls. We would definitely go there again, this was the first time we tried Sushi Seven.

The Polish girl is gorgeous and the best server I have ever had. I think she memorized the menu and has valuable insight on the food. Ask for Yvonne.

Sushi Seven issued non expiring coupons to me but will no longer honor the coupons. I was given the coupons because I was a repeat customer but now I will no longer be a customer. Instead of allowing me to save a few dollars via coupons they will lose the hundreds of dollars of my future cash stream of purchases from them. Businesses are not that smart sometimes and that is why they go out of business. It is overpriced Mexican sushi in which they chop the ingredients into tiny, little bits to save costs. The meat is barely visible to the naked eye. As a consumer you might as well just stay home and eat a bowl of rice and save $ 30 – 40. In this economy, every penny counts. Sushi Seven watches their pennies you might as well, too.

One of the best kept secrets for sushi in San Antonio. Very fresh fish and unique combination of ingredients for sushi rolls

Mexican sushi. Not authentic, salty. I’m Not disappointed tho San Antonio doesn’t have good sushi to begin with so I wasn’t it expecting it to be great. Rated mostly by San Antonians, I’m guessing that’s the reason why it has awesome reviews. They don’t know better. I’ve had sushi from all over the country and San Antonio’s is by far the worst city for sushi. I would have to say this one is the worse. The Mochi ice cream was delicious tho ! Good job on that one. For now I’ll continue to drive to Austin for sushi or settle with central markets sushi

3.0STARS: Experience weird, awkward eating as the manager bit his nails next to us and stared over at us like we were going to spill something. The staff is mainly internationals from Mexico that have a lot of local friends come in who they cater to. The sushi staff is made up of Texicans that still did a great job with our Sushi. The Sushi was very good which saved this review from a one or two star outcome. We did the $ 30 family entrée and it fed three of us very nicely. I don’t eat sushi a lot so I wont go into too much detail minus that fact that they actually have sea weed which is what I was hoping for. This new city Sushi that cuts out the sea weed is a bore. Enjoy!

Amazing food & service! We usually go to Sushi Zushi but we’ve found our new sushi place! They even deliver too! It has a wonderful outdoor seating area as well.

2 years later and I still love this place. Readers, please be advised that you must have patience if you go here. I’ve had PLENTY of great servers and I give the newer servers so leeway because they really are a great restaurant. I’ve been here so much that I got to know the management and everyone knew me as a regular. The management has since changed so I was kind of bummed(and still am) because with that came some changes like charging for Chilis Toreados, and charging for a Kanikama to Shrimp replacement. I HATE Kanikama so it was nice getting a free switch to shrimp unlike the $ 2 change at Sushi Zushi, but S7 has followed that trend now. Chilis Toreados(lightly grilled serranos in soy sauce and joy sauce) is now $ 0.75 which is ridiculous. Otherwise, the food is SOOOO good and the miso isn’t as salty as it used to be. Service can be slow with a large group and they do have some inexperienced servers but just be patient. I’ve met the owners and management and they’re SUPER nice.

Love this place!!! This has become my favorite local sushi spot. Food is outstanding, prices are great and service is awesome. Can’t go wrong and if you live in Stone Oak you can skip Sushi Zushi and get a more creative menu and better prices here.

The good: okay sushi rolls, gyoza with dipping sauce was good, the use of ipads to take our order was cool. The bad: appetizers were served with no appetizer plates(who does that?) sushi served with no dipping bowls for soy sauce(again who does that), very young and inexperienced servers. Overall: For what you pay for the sushi food and experience is better at Sushihana’s in Castle Hills, a small city nestled in central San Antonio.

Best Sushi I’ve had in a long time! Recommend the Mi Rey Roll and the James Roll. The Monroe was good and the Sushi Seven roll was also pretty good. I was surprised that the Sushi Seven Roll was slightly cooked which made a good contrast to the the cold rolls. I will definitely come again. I want to come back during the happy hour to see what specials they have.

Seriously awesome! Although a San Antonio native, I have spent the last few years in Dallas and elsewhere slowing becoming a bit of a sushi snob. I was thus hesitant at first to try a new place here but boy, are these good reviews on target! The place itself is small, quaint and trendy as anything in the stone oak area. We arrived during happy hour(3 – 6 I believe) where all beer and wine was 3 $ a glass, which was excellent. As recommended by other reviewers, we tried the James sushi tower with salmon and it was to die for! The salmon was fresh and flavorful and all other ingredients were a perfect compliment. We also tried the Chilango roll which has a spice kick to it; also divine! All rolls are very affordable($ 11 – 16). The service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly, very attentive and gave excellent recommendations. Please please go, sushi fans! You won’t be let down :)

New sushi place in Stone Oak. Skip your usual sushi zushi or kumori fix and come here to try out a new sushi option. You won’t be disappointed! I ordered the sashimi salad for a light dinner which was definitely worth the $ 13. It did have a bit too much dressing than I would’ve wanted, so next time I would ask them to go light on the dressing. My dad and brother got some rolls which looked great & they really enjoyed both of them. I had a bite of their James Tower roll which was AWESOME. Def order this one!

5 star service 3 star food Sushi seven has a modern club like restaurant with a sushi bar, table, and booth seating. The day we were in there… it was freezing inside and outside. We were a party of 5 we all ordered rolls and hot tea. The tea came out luke warm, untasty, and charged $ 5 for each refill. It was so cold we refilled 4 times. The sushi rolls were decent and reasonably priced but we have had fresher seafood at Pappadeux. The service was good however the ridiculous $ 20 we paid for tea left us shaking our heads in disbelief.

I ate here after a very long day of filming. Our production team and cast were all drained, brains fried, and in serious need of a recharge. Almost immediately after siting down the Manager informed us that he’d be taking care of us, and suggested we share a bottle of Sake. It came in an awesome chilled bottle and it was top shelf and smooth. We were taken care of, I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. The food that was ordered included the Green Dynamite Mussels, which are spicy and delicious. We all ordered different rolls, me being boring and unadventurous this particular evening went the safe rout and ordered a Philadelphia Roll and a Caterpillar Roll. Both were fresh and tasted better than expected. Thanks to my crew I also got to try the Marilyn Monroll! It was AMAZING! Words used to describe the food were: best rolls I’ve ever had, I want to order more of this, please let me try that, OMG you have to try it. So its safe to say, that we all enjoyed our meals and our company. I can’t wait to bring a date here or come back with good friends.
