My rating is for cleanliness. I’d rather know if the restaurant is clean than hiw nice the owners/workers are. This place was clean and pretty fast service, too.

Friendly, fast and cheap. I didn’t know where to go for lunch and I wanted something healthy and fresh. Stopped in for a copped salad and walked out quick and happy. Staff welcomed me and thanked me several times. Great subway for in and out service.

Worst service ever! I’m sorry, I love Subway, but we had a very bad experience here on Sat. March 28, 2015. Who is the manager deciding to under-staff his/her location during one of the busiest weekends in downtown San Antonio? A couple of conferences were going on at the near convention center, in addition to the usual flow of tourists. Don’t you have this data available in order to staff your restaurant appropriately? We got in 11:45am, and waited in line for 30 minutes before we even got to talk to the person behind the counter! Only 3 employees serving a crowd of 25 people in line. And how slow they are! Not good.

One of the busiest Subways I’ve seen but they handle the lines as quickly as possible. The recipes and taste are consistent with other Subways. There’s plenty of seating and it’s one of the best fast food options when eating downtown.

Subway sandwiches are usually safe, but I was quite disappointed that they ran out of tomatoes.

This review is for breakfast, and breakfast only. I was looking for a place to grab breakfast on my way to a conference, and I spotted this Subway. I’ve always wanted to try out their new breakfast menu, so I figured why not?! Of course the place was empty at 8am, which was nice because there was no long line… sweet! However, since it wasn’t busy the workers were in the back somewhere. I waited around for some time, made some noise, and finally someone appeared. The first day I had the the western egg and cheese on an english muffin. It was nice that you got to choose egg whites at no extra charge. The sandwich was okay. I would have liked a little bit more bell peppers, but it wasn’t bad for a $ 2.49 sandwich. The next day I had the steak breakfast sandwich on an english muffin. It was pretty much a philly cheesesteak on an english muffin. Again, not bad for the price. Both days I had the hash browns. Wow… delicious! I definitely recommend getting an order of these when you stop by Subway for breakfast. If you want a heartier breakfast, aside from the english muffin, you could also get your sandwich on one of their freshly baked breads or toasty flatbread. For a quick, cheap breakfast spot when in downtown San Antonio, Subway isn’t a bad choice.
