From time to time I will treat myself to one of their breakfast flatbreads. Unfortunately today the flatbreads were all still frozen. The staff was polite and apologetic for it not bring ready. Disappointing, but I went ahead and stuck it out, having breakfast on white bread. Had my usual Black Forest ham, egg white and cheese. Their Chipotle Southwest sauce made the sandwich, as always. Fingers crossed for thawed flatbread next time.

Bread is often stale even @ 10 in the morning. They will have 2 people working there and 1 goes on break while people are in line.
If there is only 1 person there, they will make everyone in line wait until they have made 4 peoples sandwiches. So the first guy in line has to stand there like a fool while the «sandwich artist» makes 3 others… ridiculous. They do this so they dont have to take their gloves off to use the register… I’ve asked.
My last time, was my last time. Not worth the idiotic effort.

I eat here regularly since I work at the UTHSCSA but it’s not one of my favorite places to go. Like Brenda said, it can get overly crowded during lunch hours, especially during the school year because there’s quite a few lecture halls near this subway. It’s best to go between 11AM-11:30AM or after the lunch crowd at 1PM. During the summer months, it’s not as busy so going at 12PM isn’t too bad.
The crew here are so rude. There’s only two people that I’ve encountered there that are genuinely nice. The others, not so much. No thank you’s or please’s and I’m ALWAYS nice to them, I can’t imagine what they’d be like if I was rude to them.
Anywho, not my favorite but a must if you work or go to school at the UTHSCSA or around-​abouts UTHSCSA :)

This Subway is located in the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Medical School, on the 3rd floor. It’s your typical Subway. Only thing to note is that it gets fairly crowded during the lunch hour, although the line moves quickly. They also close early (3pm, maybe earlier during the summer), and are not open weekends.
There is no toaster at this location.
