Even with two full bus loads, they sat us within 30 mins. We had Becky as our waitress and she was phenomenal. Not only was she kind but she was fast. She never let our drinks get past half empty and fulfilled our request in a timely manner. The food was amazing and the manager came to see how we were doing. She went above and beyond, asking if we needed anything to assist ger crew. We had a great time and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for excellent service and great food.

DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
The spaghetti they cooked was hard. The chicken Parmesan was mediocre at best. The salad seemed old and stale. The bread was harder than a rock. The staff seemed annoyed and disrespectful. The prices were way too over priced. Don’t come here everything was awful.

It is 3:30 in the afternoon on February 15, 2016. We walked in with a party of 16 and was told it would be an hour wait!!! We didn’t see a single customer in the entire restaurant. When we questioned the wait time the manager came out and said that since it was during Rodeo time that is why the wait was longer.?? That doesn’t make sense. We walked out! Do not give this place a second thought!!! I don’t think they are worth one star but I had to give them at least one or they would not post my review!!!

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our food was good. Bar service slow and there is an old musty smell to this historic building. Bathroom was not clean. Most likely not to return but the food was very good.

After seeing this place on the local attractions channel, I decided to try it. It’s not what I expected, the service was slow and there was no crowd. The spaghetti sauce was thin with barely any flavor. I would not go back.

Food is ok… nothing to write home about. What this restaurant really needs is better management. The wait staff is friendly but they have no idea what they are doing. Our waiter could not grasp the concept of endless soup and salad. We had to keep calling him over for more soup, salad and water. The food took forever to get to the table and then one of my buddies got over charged for his meal, all this while the manager sat in the front eating… nice. You’re better off going to Olive Garden.

This was the second time we’ve been here, the last time being over a year ago. The first thing you notice is the nasty smell of the restaurant, like an old hotel where everyone has had their dirty feet on the carpet. How hard is it to shampoo the carpets? I remember saying something about it last time, too. Only went back because someone gave us a giftcard and we hoped the place had improved. Food is overpriced for the portions and nothing to write home about. If I’m going to drive downtown and spend that much, it won’t be to go to a dirty stinky feety smelling restaurant

Do not go here with a large group! We had a group of 25, and half of the group was finished eating their meals by the time I received mine. The management offered nothing in the way of a comp, and took 35 minutes to present checks, and another 20 minutes to run the cards. Terrible service. Absolutely awful. Food was not bad.

Been coming here for years and the munchies are pretty solid! Not a fancy restaurant by any stretch, but the food is very satisfying! Stuffed mushrooms are very good. Bottomless wedding soup and salad is on point and a bargain! The 15 layer lasagna is great but beware, it’s a lot of food!

I love this place on any other normal day, but today is national spaghetti day and to be out of meatballs and ranch dressing. Its 8:30 at night and they’ve been out of ranch since 530. When i come here i look most forward to the ranch, so being out of it on national spaghetti day is unacceptable. How can you as a manager not be better prepared for this? Im so disappointed and pissed off.

Our family walked here yesterday to eat before the Alamobowl and noticed immediately that it smelled like cow manure when walking in. The dining areas were nearly empty as well. We walked out because we were concerned about sanitation and didn’t want to risk it.

First thing I noticed when entering was the smell. It smelled like sewage and was very potent. Also, the customer service here is horrible! The hostess wasn’t warm or inviting, was very impatient and curt. When being seated, the table we were taken to wasn’t clean so we asked if we could just take another empty table and were told no. We asked again if we could sit in a both and was told we requested a table, which we did not because the hostess never asked us for our preference. I can’t even comment on the food because I left before being served. I was too frustrated with the lack of service I received.

I hear the lasagna is delish. Would love to have had some. However on a DEAD Thursday night, waited for a server for fifteen minutes. Despite being passed by three separate servers no one bothered to greet us or take our order. Two individuals that WILL NOT be wasting our time there again. However if you’re sitting here now, and tired of waiting… walk across the tracks to Tuckers. It’s a dive but great staff and great food!

So disappointed in the service, food and conditions.
The waiter finally arrived. Food was served cold, bread came after the meal was served, the utensils were dirty and the place looked and smelled like wet dog.

So I’m giving this 4 stars based on the food. It was amazing. I got the 15 layer lasagna which was, just, very, very good. My entire group was pleased with our food which always came out hot and fantastic looking/​tasting.
Now, on the other hand, the service was absolutely horrendous. It took us nearly 3 hours to eat and get out. They weren’t even spectacularly busy either, it was Friday evening BEFORE 5 when we got in and we didn’t leave til after 6:30.
The women’s bathrooms were also very, very, very bad. There was a line, because two of the stalls (out of 4), were broken/​locked. The other two stalls were dirty, wet and pretty much one of the worst bathrooms I’ve ever seen. The soap was empty, and they had just enough paper towels for myself to wash my hands, but everyone after me was pretty much screwed.
