Lets start with Som bc she is the exception to what I experienced in this store. Fun, bubbly & energetic to the max that lady! She was extremely amazing & demonstrated what I’ve come to expect from Sephora. Som did the Color IQ on my bestie & made her the #1 priority, explaining everything & giving great tips. Thank you, Som! Those 2 stars are for you! Now onto the rest of the store. Uh. Fail. No one seemed like they wanted to be there or were just getting there & didn’t know what was where. No, really, I was told more than once, «I just got here so I don’t know where that is». Um. Okay? The best part of my visit– I «signed in» for a Color IQ myself & was told it would be about 45 minutes. No biggie, more time to look around. Looking time over, I stood by while my bestie got hers done by Som. Then I heard my name called so I made my way to Stacie. The moment she realized that I was the one coming, she turned to someone else & started talking. I stood by her for a moment & then figured forget it, I’d go to a different Sephora later on & get someone like Som. I made my way back to the other side of the mirrored section & listened to what Som had to say, I was learning a lot from her anyway. A little bit later Stacie came to me & was annoyed that I changed my mind on wanting the Color IQ. Not sorry that I didn’t feel like wasting my time with someone who didn’t really want to help. This store is NOT how most Sephoras are.

I went here for a custom makeover to update my look. I will say it started off negatively, in that the store was incredibly busy and I had trouble finding a sales associate who could direct me where to go. Kat did my custom makeover and I would definitely go back for another from her. She was absolutely fantastic, paying attention to my individual face and wants for the makeover. She was excellent at going back and explaining products and methods of application so that I could learn, which is why I was there in the first place. She was especially adept at explaining contouring techniques and eye makeup techniques. Finally, she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that my face was complete. Her makeover looked AMAZING. When I went to checkout, I did not feel happy because the line was lengthy. I have no idea how they did it, but I was called to a register less than a minute later. Then, at the register, the cashier was friendly, talking about my makeover, and offered to go and get a product that I had forgotten to pick up. Overall, I was very satisfied at this Sephora, even with how hectic it was.

I was helped by the nicest employee here today. She found me a great product and even took the time to show me how to use it. Will be returning to this location(:

I went in today to get a foundation sample and I had the worst service ever. There was 6 people working at the time and none of them came by and asked if I needed help. I reached out to a worker there to see if she could get me a sample and she said«okay hold on», never came back and started helping other people, avoiding me the whole time. Then another worker came and asked the couple besides me if they needed help and they said no, keep in mind I still had my foundation bottle in my hand waiting to be help. I looked at him and he looked at me and never asked if I needed anything and turned around. I asked the cashier and he seemed bothered that I even asked him but I didn’t let it bother me and I said thank you and he ignored me.

I prefer sephora over Mac anyday. Mostly because Mac makeup makes me break out. The items they sell here are pretty good. The forever makeup foundation is the reason I go here. Definitely doesn’t make your face cakey or anything and doesn’t make my face break out which is definitely a plus and the reason I use it. I was experimenting w other foundations but didn’t find anything I liked so I had to go to sephora. I didn’t remember the shade I was so they had to match me with the machine. Sebastian was the one that helped me that day and the service was amazing. They have a lot of pretty men working there. Their makeup was flawless… I was so jealous! When the associates makeup looks that good, you can’t help but ask for their make up advice and recommendations. And being a liberal, I loved seeing that they don’t discriminate and they had a great number of transsexual, transgenders and gays working there. I haven’t seen that in many sephoras here so it Makes me want to take my business back to this particular store. Because I love people who are accepting and welcoming of others. Overall, it was a great shopping experience. Even though, I walked in to buy the foundation and walked out with 2 additional purchases of skin care products. I tried to control myself otherwise I would have walked out w a lot more items.

Terrible customer service. I went in the store with my friend and they ignored her. She asked for help 3 different times. She asked someone where the spray on foundation was and they just pointed to the front of the store. We didn’t know where she was pointing to so it took us a while to find it. Then, my friend asked for a color match. The lady said she would be right back and she never came back. We had to spray all of them until we found the right color for my friend. Would have appreciated some help from someone. It took us 45 minutes to buy 3 items. I’m definitely not going back to that store. They’re rude and they profile you. If you’re not dressed like you have money, they won’t give you good service. Its Sephora. Not some high end make-up line. Ridiculous.

I want to start by saying that USUALLY, my experience at Sephora is fine, nothing amazing, just ok. But heaven forbid you ever have to return something. Be prepared to feel like a second class citizen. To give you a little more info, after returning an item today the sales representative simply left my receipt on the counter and looked at her register. There was no thank you, have a nice day, or any form of acknowledgement. I wasn’t even sure if the transaction was over. So I took my money and left. Makes you feel like a cheap hooker. Needless to say, I’ll be purchasing my makeup at Ulta. The only reason I’d walk into a Sephora again is to purchase Makeup Forever, as it’s only carried there.

Sephora has always been a favorite treat for me. Taking care of yourself is important and stores full of top quality products make it easy to sample and pinpoint the things that work best for you. The return policy let’s me rest at ease, and their website is wonderful, too. The last time I was at Sephora it made me feel like I should just stick to shopping online for the things I need, since the store experience was so terribly awkward. There seemed to be more employees in the store than customers, and the constant barrage of «hello» and«can I help you» prevented my friend and I from carrying on our conversation while browsing. There was one lady who followed us from the back of the store all the way to the front, watching us and making us feel very uncomfortable. She startled my friend by being nearly on top of us when we turned and reached for a perfume. At that point she got the point and left us alone. It is customer service, not the Secret Service. I swear that it is possible to be available if someone needs help without smothering them.

I don’t always spend a stupid amount of money on make-up but when I do, I prefer Sephora. Whenever I can splurge, I take a trip to Sephora and get lost in their aisles of designer perfumes, make-up brushes I’ve never heard of and other pretty and expensive knickknacks. I came with one goal and one goal only, to buy the best liquid eyeliner money can buy or rather, MY money could buy. The crazy beautiful sales lady must have seen I was getting overwhelmed because she came over and asked what I was looking for. After going into an extensive conversation about the length of the eyeliner brushes she found the perfect one for me and it was only $ 11 which is a STEAL in this place where the median price for lipgloss is about $ 20. Staff is super knowledgeable and the store has anything and everything you could ever want to paint your face with. Win, win for me.

I always shop Sephora, guilty pleasure of several thousands of women. That beauty insider gives you little trial sized incentive that probably doesn’t mean or amount to much, and yet you still buy random crap to make yourself pretty in the superficial world we live in. I enjoy every second of it. Watch me walk in and come out looking ten shades past a drag queen everytime. Worse if I’ve had something spiked prior to arrival.
