Staff is friendly and courteous. Dr. Nieto is very helpful and listened carefully to all of my symptoms. She asked many questions to try and figure out the problem. I really like her and trust her with my care. My only frustration is with test results. There seems to be no urgency with communicating them quickly. Blood tests took a week to get back. They’ve had the results for nearly 24 hours now(I called yesterday, and stopped by this morning) and the Dr still hasn’t reviewed the results and contacted me about them. This is very frustrating as I have been worrying over these for nearly a week now and they seem to have no urgency with letting me know what they are.

I live right down the street and when I have gone down there to make an appointment they were closed. I then called another time and was told they were taking new patients but wouldn’t be able to get an appointment till late August. I am sick today and late August obviously wouldn’t do. It says on the outside of their establishment that walk ins welcome. The girl on the phone said that was for established patients only. They must have a full caseload if they can’t accommodate new patients. I drive past there daily and it doesn’t seem that their parking lot is full. I can’t plan on when I’m gonna get sick.

Dr. Nieto is wonderful. She takes time to converse with you about your health and she makes you feel like your not in a doctor’s office. The nurses are always very nice, as well. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star rating is because I have emailed information at times and the reception staff failed to acknowledge or reply to my emails. Also, I’m not a fan of how they take blood pressure readings. They do not have you rest your arm on a counter or desk during the reading and mine reads a lot higher when it is read that way. Other than that, I highly recommend.

Could not be more dissatisfied with this business. I have never been so appalled at the way they would treat someone. Truly if there was an option to rate 0, I would. Unfriendly staffing, not willing to help without a glimpse of sympathy. I trusted the reviews on Unilocal, like I often do, unfortunately the reviews on here were both wonderful. I have never rated ANY business on Unilocal(or on any other website for that matter) because I have not been so overly impressed or dissatisfied to invest my rare/valuable free time writing a review. Unfortunately, this time, I guess there is a first time for everything…

When we moved into our house in San Antonio we needed a new general practice doctor. I left the doctor hunting up to my wife. A coworker suggested Dr. Nieto. She went and fell in love with her. It wasn’t long before I came down with something. So I went in to see her. The office is nice. I signed in and was put in a room within about 5 to 7 minutes. The nurse is super sweet. She took down all of my medical background. After she left it wasn’t even 5 minutes Dr. Nieto came in. She took the time to check me out. She didn’t seem rushed or short. It is nice to find a doctor that seems to actually takes the time to get to know you. A few months later I came down with something else. Dr. Nieto remembered the conversation we had prior. I was amazed! I can barely remember the conversation I had five minutes ago much less conversations I had months ago. I would recommend Dr. Nieto and the Tandi Medical Center to anyone in the San Antonio area without reservation.

Being new to San Antonio, I stumbled upon Dr. Nieto simply because she was close to my house. It really boiled down to that. Let’s get down to the brass tacks… I feel very confident that Dr. Nieto will do everything she can to make sure you are well cared for. She and her fantastic assistant Betty have fought with my insurance for me and made me feel like my medical concerns are heard. Dr. Nieto takes her time and listens to all concerns. She asks many questions and is very personable. She even noticed I had gotten new glasses… she’s either extremely observant or I’m just there way too much. They are a small office and I don’t think they have many patients, but this makes me feel like I am visiting a small town doctor’s office. Being small and only a team of three: Dr. Nieto, Betty and the receptionist(whom I can’t ever remember the name of) don’t always do things quickly. I have had to call them to check on the progress on certain things, but they always come through in the end.
