Very interesting place. For those looking for a new experience, this is it. Lots of beautiful, shiny motorcycles and their riders filled the outdoor patio area. People are not necessarily the friendliest, but tolerated our group of first-timers. There is a designated smoking area outside the fenced patio. There are only a few restrooms and lines get long. Music included oldies, country, Tejano and line dances.

This outside patio is popular on Thursdays for bikers. The beer is reasonable and cold. The music is mostly oldie but goodies mixed with Tejano on jukebox. Sometimes people will get up and dance. This place is not at all fancy but on nice evenings it’s a good place for beer drinking and beer talk. Sometimes the noise from the traffic from the overpass and the roaring of the motorcycles can be annoying but that’s what Sanchez is all about. Drink, talk louder and have fun.

In my opinion, beers are not cold. I wasn’t impressed at all. Won’t be coming back.

Uh yes!!! Never knew this place existed, but fortunately my uncle is a cop and that means he knows all the hidden gems in the city. Don’t let the look of this place turn you away. Think of that backyard feel with friendly neighbors that don’t care how loud you get or hold loud the music is. Beer is by the bucket, with plenty of ice and limes. Music is caters to that oldie vibe which also sparks an interests to drink. The staff I don’t think could be more friendly if they tried. The only reason I didn’t give this spot the 5th star, was do to no food. I was hungry when I showed up and starving by the time I left. Wish there was a taco truck or something on the premises.

this has always been a great place to hang out have a beer. iv stopped here after a long bicycle ride, iv hit it at noon, at night, i have even brought my food order over from somewhere else and enjoyed it there with a beer. I like it because of its west side flair. no frills, no hassles, no issues right under I-35…great .buckets of cold beer, great locals bar al fresco… excellent place to «pre-flight» before heading out to town.

Awesome place to hang out and listen to oldies and be with a mellow crowd. And yes, the bikers come here, but they’re the cool ones… love to check out all the different Harleys. A real atmosphere of unity here… nice breeze and you’d never know you were sittng right under an I-35 bridge. Never ever had a bad experience here… on site security and a complete absence of assholes. Come down and have a bucket of ice cold beer and enjoy the atmosphere… San Antonio at it’s finest. One of the reasons I love this city so much!

Cool little place to hang out with San Antonio locals who just want to drink beer and dance to good Tejano. On Friday and Saturday nights, they have a DJ who spins the best Tejano and Country. A few bikers go here but everyone is really nice. We’d like to come back

Cheap beer al fresco. Plenty of oldies in the jukebox will make you forget you are seated under IH35.
