Literally the WORST service I have EVER experienced.
First, my appointment was at 10:30am. No one was there; salon was closed. (Their sign says they open at 10am) Tried calling, no answer. None of the stylists showed up until 10:45. Also, the location is GHETTO. Bars on the doors in a terrible location.
Second, I purchased a Groupon for full higlights, conditioning treatment, cut and style. I was charged an extra 60 $ and I didn’t even get highlights. Alexis (stylist) told me highlights wouldn’t give me the color I desired and told me she would «lighten it up a bit» with an all over color. She BLEACHED my hair. It looked bright, neon, orange. When I told her it looked terrible, she got very offended and tried to convince me it looked great. When I asked another customer their opinion of my orange hair, she responded with, «I’m giving you my professional opinion and you’re asking someone else?» Then told me she could bleach it again, but all my hair would fall out. I had to convince her to use a toner. It still looked terrible and I had to pay an actual professional the next day to fix the mess she made. I could have bleached my own hair at home and bought a 5 $ bottle of toner from Sally’s and it STILL would have looked better than what this lady did. Completely ridiculous.
Lastly, the conditioning treatment is a joke. It’s just some conditioner they leave in your hair for less than a minute. She literally FORGOT to cut my hair and I had to ask her to finish the cut, which was choppy and uneven.
I will NEVER use this salon again and I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. Lesson learned. If you want a professional to do your hair, do NOT use Groupon and stay FAR away from this place. These people are out to get your money, are extremely unprofessional, under educated and take absolutely no pride in their work. I’m honestly surprised they have customers.

I came here with my friend to get her hair done. She was here from out of town and she came across them on groupon. The young man that was there did her hair and when he finished it didn’t come out the way it was supposed to because she had it dyed red so it was hard to get it out but the owner was over looking his job and told him to redo it. It was already past closing time so she started helping him finish her hair. I thought it was awesome that they were willing to stay after hours just to make sure their customer was satisfied. They also were very friendly and down to earth. My friend is crazy and out there and they managed to keep up with her crazy conversations. They were also nice enough to provide us with some suggestions to bars and clubs we could visit, since they knew she was here visiting. A star for customer service a star for cleanliness and a star for the price.

Horrible service!
Bought a Groupon ($ 49) for full cut, style, color and deep conditioning. Made an appointment and went in to be told that I would need to pay an additional $ 50 for the length and thickness of my hair. Now mind you that my hair is not thick and the hair cut I wanted was a bob style so the length I would need dyed would be around my neck.
I was then told «if you think about it you are getting a better deal than if you were paying full price». Now this is not my first time getting my hair professional colored. I have had my hair colored multiple times and have NEVER been charged over for my length or thickness. I planned on gifting these «deals» for my baby shower as gifts but I would not recommend this place to anybody. This is a place that is just trying to get more money out of you by pretending to offer deals when you will end up paying full price.

Unprofessional & rude. First time here and my last time! I recently made the mistake of going to this salon for a «color correction» that was for $ 160. I was «PROMISED» even tone, but my hairstylist, Hector, didn’t even bleach my roots! He left me with two inches of dark hair around the neck line. I also didn’t see him give me the layers I wanted, all he did was trim my hair and It looked choppy and uneven! Uneven haircut and uneven hair color! Not to mention after walking in and hearing the profanity! I had to hear the hairstylist, Lauren talk BAD about her customer that had just left because the lady didn’t tip her well enough!
The next day I called to see what could be done about my hair, The owner Alexus was nice about the whole situation and let me come back to get my hair fixed because they DON’T DO REFUNDS! And the same hairstylist that did my hair still left me with bleach spots. Not sure why she allowed the same person redo my hair. He Didn’t re apply the red dye in it correctly so again im left looking like a cheetah! And when he rinsed my hair, he wet my back and my shirt was soaked. The whole time I was uncomfortable.
At this point I’m done with them. Never coming here again.

I want to start off by saying that I’m a professional hairstylist myself.
I went in wanting Jet Black hair and left with red (hot roots).
I started off by saying to the stylist (that was just fresh out of school) that I wanted the blackest that they had and of course that would be a blue-​black (from what they carry) because natural black has brown in it.
Well somehow I ended up getting a lot of red in my hair that not even natural black has.
I complained to the owner and she said «I don’t see anything wrong with it, It might be because our floors are red.» And «Well, what do you want me to do I think it looks good.»
I don’t know why I expected her to offer to do my whole hair again even after I got charged for 8 ounces of color which is 50 extra dollars from what I had on my groupon.
Not only did I receive crappy service everyone was cussing left and right in there
All in all this is by far the worst experience I had from a «professional «salon. This is something that I would expect from a school and even at that I’ve had better experiences at schools. Further your education and try not to be so horrible at your job!

This place doesn’t even deserve one star! The owner is rude, & they lie about their guarantee. I purchased a groupon deal for full highlights for $ 54.99 and after all the extra hidden charges it came out to be $ 89.99 (& I don’t have long hair, I have short above the shoulder hair) b which I wouldn’t have had a problem with if i didn’t come out looking like storm from the xmen movies! When my stylist was working on my hair the manager told me if for any reason i wasn’t happy with my results they would fix it for me no problem what so ever because they didn’t want to end up with another bad Unilocal review. I even saw a sign behind me stating the same thing, so i felt confident getting my hair done there even though i wasn’t very comfortable with the location and the surroundings (ghetto). Well my hair turned out horrible! He already spent so much time on me and there was another person waiting to get their haircut since he was the only stylist so i just went home and went back the next morning to talk to the owner and get it fixed. When i called they didn’t even want to get me in for an appointment until i told them i was already 2 minutes down the road, so they agreed to see me. When i walked in the owner, the manager and a different stylist was there i asked them if they could just add some brown or some low lights to break it up and not look so crazy blonde. They said they could put some toner on it or i could go back to solid brown, but i would have to pay for all the work. I wasn’t about to spend another $ 100 to fix this hideous mess! I told them how i was offered a guarantee and shouldn’t be charged to fix it, its just a little bit of brown dye on a couple pieces to break up the highlights thats all i need??? They wouldn’t fix it and i wasn’t about to give them a dime more, so i headed over to a different place and they fixed it for me fast easily and for only around $ 35! now it looks great… no thanks to them. It was an easy fix, but the red head stylist & owner must have just been lazy and not wanted to do the work, needless to say ill never ever ever return! STAY AWAY!!! The only positive to this place was my stylist bren was very friendly and nice the whole entire time, he did a great job on my haircut and was very kind, i just feel sorry that he has to work in a dump like that with horrible management that doesn’t give a crap about their customers!!!

If I could give a «negative» star, I would. I called to make an appointment for Saturday, wanting to use a Groupon. The lady who answered the phone is a S-​N-​O-​B and that’s putting it nicely. She told me they only see regular clients on Saturdays; that Groupons are already at a deep discount. I asked her, «So, I’m not a regular client just because I want to use a Groupon?» I TIP WELL WHEN I USE GROUPONS — You idiots — and based on the other reviews, I am glad I’m going elsewhere.

I purchased a groupon for highlights, cut, and deep conditioning. I called a few days in a row to try and make an appointment. They finally answered the phone after 3 days. There was literally no parking and this salon is located in a very sketchy area. When I arrived I waited almost 30 minutes before being greeted or spoken to. When thinking highlights you would think Blonde. I am already a platinum blonde. I asked for a trim and no layers. I walked out of there with brown hair and ugly uneven chunky highlights that were almost grey looking. He gave me layers that were compltely uneven an chunky! Bren I believe was his name is the one who did my hair and I absolutely hate it! I got to the car and cried! DO NOT GO HERE!

This place tries to be classy but they also have bottles of spirits on one corner, I was wondering if I was at a bar or a salon. I asked for an angled bob and came home with a choppy uneven cut. The highlights were blotchy and I have a big blob where one bled into my other hair. This place is totally tacky, I guess u get what you pay for, I got a groupon for this place. Needless to say I ended up paying more because I had to go to another salon to clean up her mess.
