The best place to get your eyebrows done in SA. I have been getting my eyebrows done by J and she is the best!

So, update to my last review of this place: I’ve met Neda and she has changed my life. I will say that my self-​esteem comes almost entirely from my eyebrows, so maintaining them is a particular vanity of mine. The last time I was here, I was less than pleased with the service, but I gave it another try because my eyebrows had lost their plural quality and I needed to take care of that before my trip to Austin tomorrow.
Anywho, enter Neda. My first clue should’ve been her eyebrows: they absolutely SLAYED. And much like you wouldn’t get a tattoo from a guy with shitty ink, you also don’t want your eyebrows done by someone with unkempt brows. Anyways, Neda was professional and meticulous and generally polite, and she was sure to keep checking in with me and seeing if I liked the arch, if I wanted to make them shorter, etc. Neda works Friday-​Sunday and is a total doll. Highly recommend her.

I always go to Lahta for my eyebrows but she is on vacation. Someone else helped me and she also did a great job.

Came in on a Tuesday morning, for threading. There was no waiting. Ann took care of me and did a fantastic job! She was thorough and arched my brows beautifully. Pain was minimal. The place is a lil hidden, but well worth it.

I has a terrible experience today when I got my hair cut. I came in scared of previews people cutting too much of my hair and letter know my concern and they did just the same cut. Very short and terrible looking like if she just grab all hair together in cut it ones with a knife.

A very quaint salon with wonderful staff and services. Manju threaded my eyebrows with such great care and precision. She was very gentle; I felt zero pain! Eyebrow threading prices are very reasonable. I will start going here for eyebrow threading instead of Just Stringz.

Chris, the barber at Rishi’s is awesome! He does really good barber style fades with a straight edge blade and perfect beard lineups and trims.
I’m very picky about my hair and beard but Chris is definitely someone I trust. And for $ 10 haircuts and $ 8 beard trims it’s an amazing deal. He uses a straight edge blade for the haircut and the beard trim.

Had to come back twice because they needed to reschedule my appt, then show up on my appt day only to have the only nail tech tell me she has to take a break and leave and no one told her about my appt with her, I get it life happens but if your an independent contract, check your schedule ! A courtesy call would have been nice. Overall, unprofessional setting, not worth it

Ladies are fast and professional. Only once have I had my eyebrows gone to thin and a little uneven but hair grows back. Overall this is a great little business. I highly recommend it! I’m a regular.

I used to love this place when I first started coming here about a year or more ago. I got my eyebrows done with Samira almost all the time and she was great! She was clean, had great technique and her customer service skills were absolutely outstanding. I referred many of my colleagues and close friends to Rishis because of their awesome service and great prices. However, somewhere along the way Rishis’ clientele grew, Samira left and the quality of the new folks is just not up to par. One of my friends at work has sworn she will never be going back to Rishi’s –the spooley tool seemed to have dandruff/​old skin on it from a previous client (s) when they went to do her brows. My recent few experiences have also been horrendous, the new employees seem to thread at a slower pace, causing more pain and are less precise with shaping– so pretty much no point in having them threaded if the correct shape is not achieved. Not to mention the most important thing — - they DO NOT clean/​use sanitizer between clients or handling cash. I also used to get my face waxed here months ago but stopped as I saw that the sticks used to apply the wax are not thrown away and are used from one client to the next!!! I only went back for the brows since I can’t find anywhere else for this cheap and it’s just thread but had to stop because of the situations I mentioned above. I’ve since found a place much closer to home that threads eyebrows for $ 10, sure it’s double the price but their salon is clean, employees maintain proper hygiene from client to client, and also keep clean equipment (i.e clean their spooleys after use). If you do go to Rishi’s don’t hesitate to verbalize to the employees that they MUST clean their hands before they touch their face, it shouldn’t be an inconvenience… the owners have provided it for a reason!
I might go back if staff are possibly re-​trained on how to thread correctly and if they learn a few customer skills over all.
P.S I was disappointed as a fellow indian to hear employees speaking in hindi about clients in front of them they either assumed we (my sister and I) understood hindi or they just didn’t care, either way improvements are definitely needed. This place definitely has potential if managed properly.

I’ve gone here often for eyebrow threading. Latha has always done a great job. It can be super busy. I think I’ve waited the most about 45 minutes for eyebrow threading. It’s so cheap too ($ 5 brows)!
It’s a little awkward to find. In the parking lot with Taqueria Datapoint, but on the back side of the building. There’s a small drive through area on either side of the parking lot that you take to get to the back. It’s on the left side facing the back of the building.
I would go here more if it was closer to me, but since it’s gotten so busy I usually just go to another place that is closer. If you’re on this side of the Medical Center, it might be worth it to do an appointment so you don’t have to wait so long.

I’ve been going to Rishi’s salon for eyebrow threading since it opened. The first time I went there, Latha threaded my eyebrows and did a great job. She provided me with business cards to promote her business, and I gave them to my friends. She also sent me a text message with her personal number and the times that she was working at the salon.
The salon has since gotten very busy and it can be difficult to catch Latha. I would recommend calling ahead of time, maybe a few days in advance to make an appointment with her. I only get my eyebrows done with Latha, since I am very particular about them. I tell her how I like them, and she does an amazing job. I don’t mind waiting for her, since she is worth the wait. Also, her prices are very affordable.
Latha is hands down the best brow shaper in San Antonio.

They messed up my eyebrows! I told her they were crooked and she said not to me and unwilling to help. It seemed like she was rushing me out the chair to help others waiting.
You get what you pay for! Never going back. I use to be a routine customer but the rudeness made me not want to go back!

Got my eyebrows done by Sammy. She ripped off part of my skin and didn’t even pluck my eyebrows after to get the hairs that she missed.
Latha does NOT do eyebrow waxes only threading. Prices have also gone up. I paid $ 8 for eyebrows which is a normal price anywhere but was expecting cheaper because the other reviews said they had such good prices.
Three days later and it is very obvious that patches of my skin are missing around my eyebrows. I will NEVER be returning here. Please do not go here! If you go make sure you do not get Sammy!!!

Came here at opening on a Tuesday. It was empty and I got in right away. I was disappointed that they didn’t have hair style books to leaf through as I wasn’t sure what I wanted but I found one online pretty quickly and got to work. Her scissors were bad to begin with they kept not cutting the hair in an obvious way. My hair style I wanted was easy thank god and she did a good (if not rushed) job on it. She was sweet though and the price was great. I would come back, but I’m going to try my luck elsewhere first.

UPDATE PREVIOUS REVIEW: Latha called and apologize for the confusion and got me in right away. When the appointment was made the stylist was not notified. Latha took very good care of my waxing and threading needs. This was the first time I ever tried threading and she is so fast and efficient left me very impressed. I would give this place 5 stars except for the fact of the inconvenience not having the appointment met.
POOR SERVICE — Had a waxing appointment at 10:30 a.m. Showed up at the appropriate time and was told that the person was not there and to come back at 11:30 a.m. Called at 11:15 a.m. to confirm that the person was going to be there to do the waxing and was told not to come till 12:30. Time was limited today. VERY disappointed at the professionalism of this place in its ability to keep appointments and not being respectful of their clients time.

Found this place while enjoying my weekly meal at datapoint, and I cannot be more impressed!
Walked in not knowing what to expect, and was greeted by two very nice ladies.
I was seated right away to get my eyebrows done, and Samira was very gentle and comforting. She liked the fact that I came in with requests on how I wanted my eyebrows done and assured me not to worry since I am very picky about my eyebrows.
What impressed me the most about this place is that the price was FIVE dollars. $ 5?!
I get my eyebrows done in Houston and I pay $ 7, which is already cheap for me!
