For this place, you’ll need a lot of time, patience, grace, and a calculator.
Had 2 pairs of boots re-​soled not long ago.
After about a month, one pair was ready & I was informed the second pair required a full sole & had not been touched.
This should have been a sign for me to go elsewhere but I hung in there.
The clock started again on the full sole (simply bad customer service to be sent to the back of the line).
Even Walmart has you come to the front when exchanging an item you’ve already waited in line to return.
After the additional month, the 2^nd pair was ready.
When I wore them they were quite uncomfortable as the interior was improperly done & over all they just didn’t feel right.
Then, sure enough, the sole separated and a heel came off.
When I went back for redemptive repairs the gentleman was nice but reluctant to take responsibility.
I reminded him he had recently done 2 pairs for me and when undercharged I made a point to make sure he got his full due; an additional $ 40 or so!
This barely seemed to register (I’m sure it happens every day :).
For a second time, he put me to the back of the line (another month for his mistake).
A month passes, I arrive to pick them up, & he starts nicely arguing with me just where he left off; funny how clear his memory was now…
All my patience and grace added up to nothing with this guy.
I left pretty much disgusted with the way I had been dissed by such a «nice» old man.
The high ratings here were probably warranted some time ago, but due to no apprentice or family member to take over, sad to say, this place is past its prime.

This is the place for shoe repair! They are so nice and knowledgeable… plus reasonable.

YAY! Great Service and fine workmanship. I dropped off three pairs of boots and a nice pair of Coach pumps to be re-​heeled. I was very happy with the work and the couple who owns the store are lovely people. They only take cash or checks so be aware when you get ready to settle up with the shoe man.
