This place is one of my favorite stores in San Antonio for upscale western fashion, and they are unfortunately closing due to retirement! I stopped by to see if I could find anything special, and found some 7FAMK Dojo jeans 20% off, and I would have helped myself to some new boots, but I may have a bit of a problem with a boot collection. So sad to see this place go!

This store has a wonderful selection of products at good prices. However, what really blew me away was the customer service; after returning to buy a boot that they no longer carried, the store manager, Stephen, went out if his way to make sure I had the product I wanted. He proceeded to order the boot for me from Mexico and even offered complimentary next day delivery! Talk about outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great variety of cowboy/girl duds.

I’m not an everyday cowboy duds kind of girl, but my husband and I were invited to a benefit at Cowboys Dancehall. At the spur of the moment(hee), we thought we would do it up right and dress the part. The store closed at 8pm and we got there at 7:45pm. No body gave us the«closing time» stink eye, thank goodness! The hubby found a dressy black western shirt that was nicely made for $ 70. The next day I found my outfit, or I should say, outfits at the sales rack. I bought six items for $ 215. They had cute fringy tank tops, a Navaho shirt dress, and other non-cowboyish clothes that were well made for $ 36 or less. Don’t get me wrong, they have expensive stuff, too! $ 200 hats, $ 300 shirts, and $ 2,000 boots are there, but, I don’t mind shopping at high end stores, as long as there is variety(both in price and sizes) as well as quality(both in material and fit). The staff are all well mannered and helpful. I can tell the hiring person likes to hire young and good looking staff… to model their stuff, most likely. All in all, a great time shopping, y’all!

Not really customer friendly. My daughter bought me a shirt which was too big so I went back to exchange it. After trying several shirts none fit– sleeves were all too long. I had the original receipt along with the original purchase and asked for a refund. They said they could not give me a refund because my daughter had paid with her credit card and the only thing they could do was give store credit. I explained that I had the receipt and the shirt which proved they had received $ for the purchase and there was no way I could give them the ‘original credit card’ b/c my daughter had made the purchase. Store credit was no good b/c they had nothing that fit. I asked to speak to a manager and they blew me off. I left with the shirt and had to call my daughter to see if she could resolve it. How do people stay in business with rude treatment like this?

Pull up to Ranch at the Rim and see a life-sized metal cutout of a cowboy kneeling at the foot of a cross next to his horse. That’s how you’ll know you’re in the right spot, but it’s not a Christian store, as I have heard people wonder. It’s a western store. And it’s one of my favorites! They sell everything from beautiful clothes to housewares. Their lists of designers is long and intense, you can find some of the cutest jeans here. In fact, some of my friends who don’t even wear western wear still visit the Ranch at the Rim to find the very best jean styles in San Antonio. Jewelry here is top notch. The prices are typically not cheap, I’ll warn you, but the sparkles, giant cross necklaces, turquoise, hand-made silver and other pieces are completely drool-worthy! And the people who work here are usually super helpful when you need it! For all your western wear needs, or for a spot to find unique pieces of clothes, jewelry, boots, etc, this place is my the best!
