Popeye’s Famous Fried Chicken of San Antonio

Be careful with this location. We’ve tried it a few times and four of the six times we’ve gone the food has been overlooked and dry. This time around, they even forgot to give us 7 biscuits. When I called the store to let them know, I was screamed at and basically called a liar. When I mentioned the dry chicken, I was asked if I had called to complain about the chicken or biscuits. I mentioned that I was going to write a bad review and the lady, very rudely and loudly said, «call whoever you want and write whatever you want!», then hung up on me.
This will definitely be the last time we go to that Popeye’s! Good luck to those that go. Hopefully your experience will be better. As for us, we have learned our lesson. This location no longer deserves our second chance!

Went on a two piece Tuesday and there was a line wrapped around the store. I figured I would be getting some hott ass chicken since they had so much buisness, boy was I wrong. The chicken was old and cold, I swear this made me hate Popeyes chicken for the first time in my life and I hate them for that because Popeyes fried chicken is a childhood favorite.

I was here on Friday it was late order a 12 piece Brest and legs mashed potato and red beans and rice totally screwed up the whole order got Cajun rice and fries thighs and wings called back when I got home I told them I would be out of town until Wednesday call today spoke with Linda some manager she is don’t even listen stop me as I was talking did not have any and I mean any manager skills that would not even listen to a unhappy customer very disappointed and that’s why this location will never get my bissness again very dissapointed and its to many other places to choice from thanks Linda the manager for your service it was ridiculous and u should be booted because u have no customer skills and I will not return and corporate will here from me If it would let me I wouldn’t give any stars atleast I can right it trust me go to a different fast food chain or at least not this one

The dinning room had a few empty tables during lunch but were not cleaned. Trays with food were just sitting there and none of the employees paid attention to clean them. I ordered the chicken tenders with cole slaw to go. No napkins or spoon was put in my bag as if I could eat the cole slaw with my hands.

This is not the fastest of foods, here’s why:
This parking lot setup and the dive through are awful for drivers.
The whole process took 15 – 20 minutes instead of 5 minutes, so I was a bit hungry and off-​schedule.
The food packaging was kind of sloppy (containers mixed with food)
The food was the typical crispy goodness, though, and didn’t disappoint.
