I have lunch here while my car is being repaired nearby. It is delicious and the service is great. There seemed to be a bunch of regulars that eat here because they know every server and person behind the register. Would highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Delicious breakfast plates and tacos. The seasonings are flavorful and the tortillas are also very good.

Had to wait approximately 15 – 20 minutes to be seated. Ordered coffee and the super chalupa a. One chicken, one beef. My friend ordered the number eleven which was pancake, eggs, bacon. Waitress offered tortillas and brought us two flour tortillas. My beef chalupa was mostly bean but it tasted good. The chicken was much better. The guacamole was good. It’s a busy place and our waitress did check on us several times. I was not aware that more than one refill of coffee is 50 cents. I saw the sign on the way out. Table was a little crowded and I kept getting bumped by staff and customers. Overall, another good Tex-Mex place.

If you want authentic Mexican food for breakfast or lunch, this is the place to go! I always judge a Mexican restaurant by the basic 2 plates: chorizo/egg plate or the cheese enchilada plate. This place has that covered! Food tastes great, sweet tea is spot on, and the prices are extremely affordable. If you’re ever in this part of San Antonio, be sure to drop by for breakfast or lunch since they don’t serve dinner. This place isn’t fancy, but I’ll definitely make another trip for breakfast or lunch!

This place has the best fideo! The broth was perfection, and it has carne guisada pieces in it. Sadly it is not available daily and was the Tuesday special. The homemade tortillas were also very good. The borracho beans, and flautas lacked flavor, but the refried beans had plenty of flavor. I will definitely be back and hope to try the enchiladas next, or maybe breakfast.

Rolled tacos plate was great. Used to come here every once in a while until I saw a some bad pics shared on line of a bug found in the food. Haven’t been back since. Foodies beware

I love coming here on Saturday mornings with the family. It’s a quick fast really good Tex-mex restaurant(despite the wait). It is a tradition for when I go I must get the country sausage guisado taco with beans and tortilla toasted. It is amazing!!! If you’re looking for good tacos and may I rather say a good caldo de res for a restaurant. I definitely recommend Patty’s. I give it four stars because sometimes they don’t always get my order right and the food served on the plate seem rushed. However, the food will not disappoint.

I came here when I arrived in town looking for a quick place to grab some breakfast tacos. Well this isn’t exactly your typical to-go breakfast taco joint that I’m used to, but they do have a counter when you walk in for to-go orders. Thanks to Unilocal recommendations, I ordered the Super Taco and they gave me some green sauce to go with it. Luckily I started eating the taco before I left the parking lot. They had actually given me a chilaquiles taco. I went back inside and about 10 minutes later had the correct taco in my hands. The two most noticible aspects were the homemade flour tortillas and thick bacon that made this taco really delicious. The green sauce didn’t really add to much to the overall flavor. If I’m ever in the area, I’ll definitely be back to try other menu items. I was a little surprised they didn’t have any Aguas fresca though.

Good food, clean, and friendly staff. I feel like family when I call in my order. They know it’s me! And they all call me by name with a smile on their face when I arrive to get my order. Patty you have a wonderful staff. Thank you for running such a class act business.

I absolutely love this place. Food is great. My hubby and I visit at least twice a week for lunch. If I’m lucky a third time lol. There is one waitress that I don’t like but the food makes up for everything.

I’ve never been able to find another taco that gives me the pure sense of satisfaction than the Super Taco from Patty’s Taco House. This place is a staple that holds the surrounding community together and should be on every list of «Places to Visit While in San Antonio» there is! My grandparents lived a few houses down from here and would always take us there to eat as kids or bring tacos back home from their. My grandparents had moved in with my aunt and they were generous enough to let my family and I rent their house out instead of leaving it empty. Now that I am right down the street again it takes every ounce of strength I have to not gorge myself on their tacos every morning… because I can smell the deliciousness from the kitchen on the walk to my car. The best part is even though I can see the parking lot packed with cars and people lined outside the restaurant, I can just call and get my favorite tacos in all of San Antonio in just 15 minutes.

So I’ve came to a conclusion, when people talk about San Antonio Texas they speak about THERIVERWALK, the ALOMO, SIXFLAGS, SEAWORLDYAYA I get it. Ask yourself what is one thing that sets this town apart from just another tourist town? Well my friends It’s the almighty BREAKFASTTACO! This city has more breakfast taco joints than MICKY D’s. So you ask what makes a great breakfast taco it’s the ratio of eggs to meat to papas and the almighty cheesy goodness that holds it all in that home made flour tortilla. Patty’s does it right and fast, thick cut bacon hanging out of the front and back of a steaming tortilla fluffy eggs crispy but done papas and just enough cheese to glue it all together. Well done Patty Well done ! The only reason I gave you a four and not five is I’m also a Salsa /Chili Freak. The green sauce was just ok hot enough but use a larger to go container would be nice and when I asked for more I was look at like Really GRINGO really ! So if your in town stop by and ask for extra hot sauce please

This place is definitley not what everyone brags about! The tacos are ALRIGHT, they are definitley NOT the best i’ve ever had. And it’s expensive! For me and my boyfriend it came out to almost 20 bucks. And we just ordered tacos! But little did we know they charge for chips and salsa. $ 1.75 for chips and salsa!!! RIDICULOUS! For the amount of business this place gets the prices should be more reasonable!

This is my dads favorite place. He loves their tortillas. We came here one day for lunch and it was packed as it always is. They have 7 parking spaces in front of the building and across the street is a gravel parking lot then behind the restaurant is another parking lot. So you can usually find a parking space. Upon leaving one afternoon my dad and i walked to the gravel parking lot and when we exited the lot our waitress was standing on the edge of the sidewalk looking at us, as we were about to drive out. Turns out I left my phone on the table and she ran outside to find me. I thought that was nice. The only thing i did not like was that they charge for chips and salsa. $ 1.75. To me that is just ridiculous, but i guess it saves the cleaners a huge mess and having to refill the bowls constantly.

When in Rome, this was the local restaurant that captured the authentic local TexMex flavor of San Antonio. Nothing like a little taco shop/restaurant that ‘nails it’. I enjoyed a plate of carnitas, which were lean and tasty. The home made flour tortillas and salsa made this place a treat. When you look around and see how packed it is at lunch, by locals, you get the feeling that you found a great spot, and I did. The physical restaurant is warn, but that’s part of the authentic charm, parking can also be a challenge, but the food and friendly service is worth it.
