Out West Gift Shop

Arrg! Let’s start with the good. As soon as you walk into the store it has a beautiful strong genuine leather smell which is just so amazing. They have a good amount of nick nacks, shirts and footwear.
But the only reason for actually taking my time to write this review was because of the sales people they have literally following the guest around!!! God, I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in a shop ever. I almost felt discriminated, can a Latino not walk around your place of business with out being harassed? Horrible! The sales person literally asked to put the things in my hand on the counter. What??? C’mon at this point I had had enough. I almost walked out of there with out purchasing the item I had in my hand but I didn’t want the sales lady to think that indeed I was thinking of «stealing the items. Geez.

I highly recommend this place as one of the better tourist shops around the Alamo. It’s chock full of tourist money-​wasters, nic-​nacs and what-​nots. Decent selection of items both silly and serious. Nice selection of hats and t-​shirts, and better priced than some of their competitors!
