Wow. If that were acceptable for a review I’d leave it at that. Pricey, but worth it! Paul is a fun, friendly and knowledgeable server. Scallops were perfection, as was everything else we ordered. Veggies we perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were too full for dessert, but they looked amazing.

The filet is terrible. If you want a great steak please don’t eat here. It’s really terrible. The steak stinks. Literally.

I’ve been here several times and each time the service has gone down. The last two times I had to send my steak back to be cooked more. Maybe the lighting in the kitchen is as dull as it is in the dining room because this place often mistakes medium for medium rare. Neither time did the waiter check to see if it was cooked correctly and I had to flag them down to send the meat back. This time the outside was cooked more however the middle was exactly the same as when I sent it back. The waiter didn’t check to see if it was okay until we were finished eating and I left the filet sitting there. If I’m paying $ 120 for a two person dinner I expect the service to go with it. Very disappointed this experience and probably won’t be going back. I could hear the excellent service to all the tables around us however Charlie wasn’t giving us the time of day.

Went here for pre-Valentine’s Day dinner with the hubby and it was the perfect place! Atmosphere: low lights for more intimate ambiance but also great place for multi-person celebrations. Modern, clean, and welcoming. Décor is nice. You feel good being in the space. Service: very professional. We had Gus as our waiter and he was excellent! Can tell restaurant has a good flow — bread and salad came out as soon as we finished placing our orders, plates were removed as needed, no long wait for entrée, drinks replenished promptly. Food: delicious! I had the bone-in prime rib(54) and hubby had filet and shrimp(43). We also chose a la carte sides; asparagus(10.95) and mashed potatoes(9). Filet and shrimp were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The PRIMERIB was FANTASTIC!!! SOOO flavorful! Melt in your mouth good. Must try! All sides were great. Overall: VERY glad we came here! It’s a pricier pick but so worth it for a special occasion or even to get away from the normal, basic food chain restaurants.

Great neighborhood steakhouse. Excellent fillets perfectly grilled. Delicious sides especially the creamed spinach and jalapeño mac and cheese, so good. Friendly and knowledgeable service professional without being stuffy. Highly recommended.

I received $ 100 in gift certificates in October from my work for a job well done. I had planned to use them to take my wife out for dinner on her birthday. I waited because she needed gall bladder surgery and her life would’ve been in jeopardy if a rich steak triggered an episode and her gall bladder burst. Pulled them out and they’ve expired??? The gentleman I spoke to(Patrick) curtly said I was out of luck when I called to plead my case. I promised him this was their only chance to ever win my business. They chose to loose it.

My wife and I celebrated New Years at Myron’s in San Antonio. Overall, the food quality was excellent and our waiter was very efficient and friendly. We were seated on time based on our reservation. We will definitely come back for special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays. The only drawback, which was minor, was the lack of ambience and a cozy atmosphere. We were seated in a large open side room, cafeteria style. Partitions and or dividers would help make it cozier and more private. Just a thought.

26 Dec dinner at 5:30. Very good atmosphere. Menu is diverse and well laid out. No craft beers on tap. Salad is just lettuce with dressing on top. Tomatoes etc must be ordered separately. Blue cheese dressing is made by Myron’s and has great texture and flavor, but a bit salty. Entrée was porterhouse and was easily top 5 best steak in terms of cut, aging and grilled to perfection. Sides were jalapeño macaroni & cheese and mushrooms. Generous portions for 2 and very complimentary to the steak. Double chocolate cake was a great finish. Service was OUTSTANDING. You will be spoiled but not to the point of interrupting a great meal with the spouse. Ask for Paul. Myron’s is now on our monthly rotation.

We spent my husband’s birthday with close friends at this location. The staff were cordial and professional. The atmosphere was calm. Plenty of parking. The food was OUTSTANDING!!! My ribeye melted in my mouth. The sides were not only delicious but an ample serving to share. My favorite was the Mac n cheese with jalapeño with the green beans second. The desserts were good although the crème brûlée could have been warm. My husband didn’t offer to share his chocolate cake. We all enjoyed the great company and delicious food.

Had the ribeye medium rare and split it… Was delecious!!! Must order jalapeño Mac and cheese !!! Not sure if only on happy hour menu but it’s a must. Originally ordered house Pinot Noir but the Crossings Pinot noir is worth the extra cost. Ordered crab legs and it was a lot of meat, worth the price. Ate in booth at bar and bartender was so nice and staff were very nice as well.

My fiancée and I enjoy coming here for our anniversary and birthdays. Their ribeye steak has perfect flavor and texture. The jalapeño mac and cheese is to die for!!! I would come here just for that! It’s oh so cheesy and they use the big shell pasta so it’s easy to scoop up. The lettuce wheel is good too but what makes it great is the yummy homemade ranch dressing that they serve it with. As far as the desserts… you can’t go wrong with the crème brûlée! That’s pretty much our usual order with the addition of a soup every now and then. If you are dining here, order the jalapeño mac and cheese! You won’t regret it!

I wanted to write a quick thank you to Myron’s Steak House for a fantastic birthday dinner!!! My boyfriend likes to surprise me with weekend getaways, and I had mentioned my birthday coupon from you… So off we go to Myron’s for the night! Everything was exceptional! My steak was perfectly medium rare, the service was perfection, my dessert was scrumptious, and best of all I felt so special on my birthday!!! Thank you again for such a wonderful opportunity, and a new special memory!!!

Everything was good from the service, food and the atmosphere. The only negative thing I could say was when I made the reservations on open table and followed up with a phone call I told them it was my father’s birthday and when we sat down nothing was said but I overheard at another table where they ask if anybody was celebrating anything special tonight. My father is the type where you can’t say oh it’s his birthday. So that was a little disappointing.

Had a great experience at this Myron’s. From the second we walked in the door, we were warmly greeted by the general manager, Patrick. He asked if we’d like house recommendations, and they were spot on, especially the pepper crusted, wasabi seared ahi tuna as a starter. Everyone’s steaks were cooked exactly to order. I had the mixed grill with steak, grilled quail, stuffed tomato and braised shrimp. All were delicious. Wine selection was broad and recommendations were paired well. Dessert consisted of bread pudding, a decadent chocolate cake that wasn’t too sweet, and an assortment of impossible to find small batch bourbons. Our waiter, Justin, provided perfect service. He was always there when we needed him, but didn’t hover. He kept the courses coming out at a perfect speed, and provided excellent recommendations. Price for 4 adults, each ordering an entrée, sides, wine dessert and several cocktails was $ 400 + tip.

Everything was great. The atmosphere was very relaxing and subdued. I was reluctant to bring in family, which I will not do again(VERY expensive), but they actually had meals decent for young children. My server was extremely knowledgeable and showed much patience with all the questions I had. Great experience.

We went to Myron’s for my friend’s bachelor party lady night and had great food and service in their back room. Steak was just right in the mixed grill entrée, as were the shrimp, quail, and stuffed tomato. The whee salad was perfect. Kristel was a friendly and attentive server, as were the other two servers. We were able to roast the bachelor in the back room without disturbing Myron’s other guests(which we certainly would have done elsewhere!). Despite the high price tag, next time we’re in New Braunfels, I’ll definitely go back to Myron’s.

We have been to Myron’s on a couple of occasions now and it just gets better and better. I was with a business associate this time instead of my wife, we had lots to catch up on and needed some extra time. Phillip was our waiter for the evening and was most excellent, his attention to our needs refreshing to say the least. I enjoyed the Scallop appetizer and Myron’s KC Strip, both cooked to perfection. We included a couple of mixed drinks and a dessert, mine was their Crème Brule, very well done! Keep up the great work and thank you. We will most definitely return and bring friends.

What an expensive mistake. The experience was so poor, we thought we were getting pranked. We went to celebrate my birthday, party of two. Combined, we ordered«Myron style» ribeye(topped with shrimp and sauce), bone-in ribeye both medium, a loaded baked potato, jalapeño mac and cheese– one wheel lettuce and chopped salad. Chopped salad wasn’t my favorite, no big deal, it’s just a salad. We had to ask our waiter numerous times and remind him of our bread. Our waiter– made it a point to ONLY address my male date. He would blatantly look directly at him, ask him how he was doing, ask about his meal, ask if everything was ok, even at the end, he thanked him, wished him a safe drive and happy holidays. Even while knowing we were celebrating my birthday. There were times that he would refill his drink only then minutes later finally see me in the sidelines with an empty glass and do his job. When I would finally ask him questions about my meal or anything, he would totally invade my personal space and be LITERALLY inches away from my face and to top it off, with bad breath. My ribeye was undercooked so he took it to the back to put a little more fire on it. Second time around, it was good. When he brought out our meal, the waiter unwrapped the baked potato from the foil and handled it with his bare hands, flipping and tossing and opening up the potato! Gross! I guess we are used to GREAT service but our table wasn’t cleared throughout the evening and that was another disappointment. Especially for a $ 200 check. Alas, the moment I knew I would never come back is when the waiter gave us a comment card to fill out towards the end while waiting for our check. He was adamant on us filling it out and made us fully aware the comments we leave of him were seen and they(employees) have a raffle going on with that. He then gave us the check, and waited for us to fill out the comment card before picking up the check when we were ready to pay. I am not a jerk, so I ended up leaving a comment of the food. I mentioned that the steak was good the second time around, and the mac & cheese was delicious. When he picked up the check, he read the comment card, invading my personal space, and 2 inches away from my face asked me with LITERALLY, a sad puppy face if I was going to leave a comment of him on there. I awkwardly avoided answering. I think overall, what contributed to the bad experience was the waiter. And that is unfortunate for the restaurant. It is very overpriced, for the experience we had. But mostly, as a female, I was offended the entire night when I wasn’t addressed. It was sexist and a horrible experience for what should have been a celebration.

Got a special celebration coming up? Put Myron’s on your short list. It’s a small steakhouse with great quality food and good service. As a bonus, they currently have a Groupon up for a discounted experience, and the quality of food and service do not suffer when you use it. If you order any entrée other than the RIBEYE, you’re an idiot.. Anyway, it’s flipping delicious. Great aroma, packed with flavor, very tender. A bit more fat than I like, but that’s where the flavor comes from. Easily 16 ounces, comes with a sad«wheel» salad. I recommend upgrading that, but the gorgonzola dressing is crazy-rich. Family style sides include various vegetables(we opted for the ASPARAGUS), stuffed tomatoes, and the surprisingly delicious JALAPENOMACANDCHEESE. Get it, you won’t regret it. There are several options for dessert, and a display tray helps you make your choice with a visual of each one. A chocolate lava cake was our choice, rich but on the dry side, accompanied by a great whiskey-infused vanilla ice cream. When making reservations, specifically request the bar area or the main dining room: ambiance in the side rooms is awkward at best with chair legs scraping concrete floors loudly in a cavernous room and tables too small to serve the four people seated there.

My girlfriends and I chose Myron’s over Bobs because it is a local place for a recent girls night out. We started out at the bar while we waited for all to arrive. They have a happy hour special until 630, so a few of us were able to order happy hour drinks. The service was fine @ the bar, but I was disappointed that I was charged full price instead of happy hour. It was corrected after I pointed it out, but thats not excellent service. One of our cosmos was sent back because it was too sour– the fixed, but again you expect excellent drinks. We were escorted back to our table– well we walked right past the dark, cozier, nice part of the restaurant to larger, brighter — very plain room. It looked like a hall & appears that the room is used for conferences since you can see the projection screen. That was disappointing and it takes away from the overall experience. Add that a child/children in the back ground crying or caring on — that again takes away from the overall experience. It felt like it was an «add-on» room– like an overflow room. I had read the remarks on the wheel«salad» served with the meal so we all bypassed this & ordered Caesar salads & one ordered french onion soup. I felt that the salad was overwhelmed by garlic– like you can actually smell the garlic in the salad. That was very disappointing; the best part of the salad was the croutons. We joked that we wanted to order a side of the croutons — they were that good. I think it is lame that an establishment with such a high price point serves a wheel of lettuce with dressing– I think it is pretty tacky, but I would not order nor recommend the Caesar salad. I do have to say that the steak(filet) was cooked perfectly. The sides– and boy did we over order sides: the mac & cheese, spinach au gratin, the broccoli au gratin, the stuffed tomatoes, creamed spinach. Recommend the jalapeño mac & cheese & the garlic mashed potatoes everything else was ehhhh. For dessert– we tried the pecan pie, the chocolate cake & brownie. I felt the pie was the best of the three. The brownie was dry while the chocolate cake was overwhelmingly sweet. The service was attentive during the meal, but as soon as we paid, we were never checked up on. Get real– we paid almost $ 500 for the meal, you can stop at our table and refill our waters for goodness-sakes! And ignoring a customer’s comments about any part of the meal should be addressed, you should not just pretend you did not hear the complaint. I believe is supporting local business, but I do not know if this place made a big enough impression on me to want to return taking into consideration the entire experience.
