This place boasts great service and a pleasant atmosphere. The Picca-Dilly is outstanding, and I highly reccomend

Found this place using Unilocal after a bike ride on the Riverwalk. Shaved ice«raspas» were delcious! Try the coconut with chocolate sauce… sounds odd, but is an AMAZING combination!

Great! Awesome place! The owner is very welcoming… and nice! Went here one day after visiting the Riverwalk… It was hot outside. and needed to cool off! I ordered the Mangonada and my son ordered the Guadalupe! These 2 refreshing raspas with fruit were amazing. With each bite I wanted more! These things are addicting. The raspa place has a small dining area with about 5 tables… and 2 sofas for sitting. I think they have a place in the back too — -to sit if you want to go outside. And it’s not too far from the riverwalk. Come visit. You won’t be disappointed.

to not give this place five stars would be a crime. the wait was relatively short compared to other shaved ice places my kids and I have been to. the mangonada was great and a steal Arty only $ 4 for 20 oz. mounded over the large cup. the Piccadilly is as trip back in time to everything I loved back in elementary school that my mom would never let me get. the raspas were great as well. but it’s not just Spurs good — you know, ice cool while beating the heat — it’s a cute little business with great artwork on the walls, a sculpture in the recessed back window, all dolled up with colorful walls and even a well-cared-for patio out back. And how’s this for separating itself from the competition? what other fruteria/shaved ice has not only free wifi, but Laptops for you to use also!!! I’ve eaten at five star places, though. And five stars are handed out far too easily I think. Ruth Chris falls short even though the streak is great and the service is impeccable. you can’t even drop crumbs without the staff cleaning it up quickly. But their service falls short of Mr. Penguino’s. Even though the wait was shorter than I anticipated I was given a discount on already reasonable prices. Then, as we were eating our treats the owner came by with a free order of nachos with cheese for every table. sure, they were regular movie nachos rather than fancy blue cheese and Muenster on blue corn nachos, but they were free, unsolicited, and perfectly mated for the other items on the menu. in short, after such a long review, this is a quaint little shop that aspires to much more, with quality product, fair prices, and superb service. Count me impressed.

Love this place! Cute décor, friendly staff, tasty raspas. Try the Mangonada or the Picadilly. You won’t be disappointed! Perfect for a hot, San Anto day. Enjoy!

Not your run of the mill raspa stand they have a nice patio for hanging out on funky Friday’s and amazing customer service. The gentleman who worked there was great and hospitable made a excellent chelada mix to mix with your BYOB! On a Friday night it’s an excellent place to be that’s on the road less travled but tottally worth it. Like the review above me excellent Asada tacos. If your trying to find that one little gem in town this is the place.

Great place, awesome environment, cutest building, yummy food and amazing service! Ate the mangonada and fajita tacos, definitely recommend anything on the menu! They also have a backyard area with super cool music, they have a Friday hang out and it’s byob. Micheladas are some of the best I’ve had.
