Glad to see this little farmers market grow! They have one or two stands with veggies. Good prices for about $ 7 I got 4 sweet potato, three onions, and a bunch of leeks. I have gotten tomatoes here before that were bright and full of flavor. Today we got there about 30 minutes before closing time and my usual stand was all out. One of the vendors was selling tomato plants, which was quite tempting to purchase. Most of the vendors offer samples of there products and you can tell they all take pride in their products! farm eggs, all sorts of nuts, jams, salsa and hand made home décor.(If you have never tried real FARM eggs your missing out!) Farm eggs contain a golden yolk and have so much flavor! Plus those chickens are not used to mass produce eggs and kept in crates their entire life! That reason alone should get you out there to support these vendors. Support your local farmers market! :)

Been a couple of times now in January. There aren’t as many vendors because it’s winter, but they still have a decent turn out, probably 10 or more every time we’ve gone. So far we’ve purchased some really nice produce, honey, maple syrup, jams and jellies, pickles, and some German chocolate pecans that are to die for. The people here really make this my favorite farmers market. They are so friendly and you can tell they’re just really happy to be there. We always feel instantly welcome. My kids(two teenagers, firmly in the everything is boring and beneath me stage) even love this place and look forward to picking out food that is actually good for them! Highly recommend this place, and we’re really looking forward to spring and warmer weather when they should have more vendors and produce.

It’s a tad small, but other than that – I’m a big fan. The people are super nice, which is a big plus in my book. Homemade jellies, pastries, breads, snack mixes, and salsas. Homegrown veggies for(mostly) reasonable prices. I understand charging a bit more since they aren’t corporate giants! I bought some organic pasta, homemade zucchini bread(yum!), apples, cucumbers, and strawberry rhubarb jam. I am definitely going to be a regular here!

Pretty much everything that you need from a farmer’s market can be found here at this market in the Stone Oak area. They have about 10 vendors on Sundays and about 20 on Saturdays. Products found include organic honey, 2 organic vegetable farmers, an organic dog treat producer, homemade nuts, an empyanada food vendor, custom furniture maker, and a specialty foods maker selling jams, salsas, and pickled items. There is always a single musician playing music. This place is conveniently located on the side of the Legacy shopping center with plenty of parking. buys: — a whole basket of huge organic tomatoes $ 4.00.

Decided to stop by after my workout today and I am so happy I did because I found all sorts of goodies. They have life music and offer a bit of everything so you’re sure to find something you like. I plan to make this a weekly trip from now on!

We really like this place. The produce selection was pretty good. Also good were bakery items and canned items like pickles, jams, pear butter etc. The art vendors were more varied than at other markets. I bought several pieces from a metal worker/welder, a jewler/bead-maker, organic soap maker and candle maker. Give this place a try!

Love it, opens a 10am on Sunday mornings and is open until 3. Fresh veggies and fruits and some Wonderful canned goods from Uncertain Farms, love that Cowboy Candy(Jalepaneos pickled) use in cornbread, on beans and so much more. Chow-Chow, jellies and more. There is a good mix of vendors. All locals which I love.

UnilocalERS! We need help! There is a potentially AMAZING farmers market available to us in the North Central Side and no one knows about it. Live music, fresh produce and honey. Sit and eat a hot dog. Look at handcrafted and really creative stuff while you take a stroll. Parking is free and it is never busy because no one knows about it for some reason. Support your locals. Come see what I mean and then Unilocal it to let me know. OPEN10 – 3EVERY Sunday, new musician every week. New musicians welcome. You are paid and get tips(if you are good). The vendors love to hear different stuff.

As Farmer’s Market’s go, I was a little disappointed. I was hoping to find fruits and veggies so fresh and sweet they make my eyes pop, but I found some ok stuff that was over-priced and relatively sweet and apparently fresh. There’s a wide variety of art and crafts vendors and a limited amount of vegetable and fruit vendors. Yes they could be direct from the farm but if the quality of the crop isn’t great then what can you do. I bought a $ 7 bottle of pickles that were good but not great. Also I bought, some plums that were tart but not sweet and some peaches that I have yet to try. I would like to give this farmer’s market another chance in the future however but I doubt I will have the energy to drive out there just to be potentially disappointed. However I did stop by Five Guys on the way back. I can’t recommend this place until it proves me wrong. Personally I think you can probably do better in Sun Harvest. So take it with a grain of salt. It might be the wrong time of the season or something.

This outdoor market has plenty to brag about! Fresh fruits and vegetables, jarred preserves, potted flowers, herbs and veggies, photography and art, jewelry, soaps, candles, handwovens, live music and yes — more! We really enjoyed a stroll past the booths and went home with a few treats including jarred strawberry preserves, a gorgeous orchid and a locally made organic candle. I will most certainly be back to check out the photography and art with further enthusiasm. Be sure to bring cash and remember that bringing your own bags is certainly appreciated.
