Great small market on the corner of Huebner & Bitters! I usually do the Sunday farmer’s market at Castle Hills but when I was in need of fruits on a Saturday morning, I ventured over to the Hill Country Farmer’s Market. It’s smaller than the Castle Hills one and not much as far as breakfast options (yet) but they had much more produce options. I scored some Fredericksburg peaches, cherries, cucumbers and grape tomatoes here but they also had mushrooms, serranos, potatoes and squash.
Among the 4 — 5 other booths were baked goods, meats, teas and honey. While I’d love to see some more leafy greens, the Hill Country Farmer’s Market is now in the rotation for my produce needs. Check it out!
