Well to start chips with cheese n salsa very good Menu is mostly in Spanish so language translation a bit challenging. Quaint and friendly atmosphere, prices very reasonable. Going to surely try them for breakfast. Dinner very good only wish my Spanish was better or menu in english

If you want real authentic food this is the place. Fresh hand made tortillas, that says it all. They are really good in flavor. Service was great from all of the waitresses. Even though it was full the service was quick.

This place has authentic Mexican food and it’s very clean and well kept. Al pastor was on point and it had very little fat. The Huaraches were excellent as well, I had one with al pastor and it was delicious. If you are a coffee drinker try their Café de olla, it’s heaven in a cup. My dad had birria(goat or sheep stew) and it had just the right amount of spice and with a little lime juice and cilantro it was perfect! This is a must try if you like AUTHENTIC Mexican food!

Fantastic, no frills, small place in a forgotten strip mall — probably the best Chilaquiles I have had in my life. Very distinct and regional recipes, with some subtle flavors to the sauces that are a welcome break to the usual(awful) Tex-Mex of San Antonio. Highly recommended.

Las Sabrosas is probably not in a great location. Sitting right next door to a kind of sketchy HEB, there have been at least 4 or 5 failed restaurants in the spot since we moved here 3 years ago. I hope it does well despite the curse, because I was pretty impressed by the 3 breakfast tacos I got here. I ordered a chilaquiles al estilo de Guanajuato, being intrigued to try a different take on the usual chilaquiles tacos I get everywhere else. These were fabulous. There were lots of chips, a very good(and somewhat spicy) red sauce, chopped onions and a dollop of sour cream to set it off from the normal preparation. I really enjoyed it. Next was a barbacoa, which was very juicy and flavorful. I appreciated that it had cilantro and onions to give it a bit more sparkle than the usual lump-o-meat barbacoa other places serve. Finally, I tried the birria taco, similar to barbacoa but using goat meat. It was also very tasty. The tortillas were all very fresh tasting and delicious. I didn’t try any of the other menu items, but the menu seemed varied and appeared to have some real Mexican items along with the standard Tex Mex stuff. The servers seemed a bit clueless at times, but maybe that’s because the place is newish? I almost ordered an horchata but was told it was made from powder, rather than ground rice/cinnamon in-house. I’m kind of an horchata snob. :-/ We’ll be back for more breakfast tacos for sure! Edit: We’ve been back several times. The breakfast tacos are consistently good, but man, their service could never be described as «friendly» or «enthusiastic.» We aren’t the types who usually get too upset about that, if the food is good, but I do think their entire wait staff needs to work on their people skills.
