don’t go here. the waitstaff are more preoccupied with to go orders and leave you waited 30 min for your breakfast. they served me carne guisada that was spoiled and cold.

Machaca burrito was very good but the bacon and egg was too runny with very little bacon. And they’ve never heard of a chile relleno burrito. The thing about Mexican restaurants is that everybody has their own favorite and mine is in El Paso. My sister really likes this place and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back when I’m in town.

Food was fair at best. The wait staff seamed to be preoccupied with other things. There are far superior Tex-Mex food in the area with much better service.

I tried this place out today because it’s close to where I live. I recommend the barbacoa on corn. Delicious. I got my order to go. It took awhile but the owner made sure I was taken care of. I will definitely eat here again. Hopefully next time it won’t take as long. Maybe the kitchen was having an off day.

I picked up a take-out order of Carne Guisada, got it home and found #1-no tortillas. #2– the«guisada» tasted like beef flavored water and flour… NO spices. I have definitely had btter.

I really love this little restaurant, especially for breakfast. My favorite dish is «Eggs ala Mexicana». The eggs are cooked to perfection, and I love the fresh bell peppers and onions in the potatoes. They have recently remodeled the interior, and it is much more comfortable and attractive. I highly recommend you try«Las Chiladas» when James in charge in the kitchen. James used to work here for over six years, took a break for a while, and and a few months ago returned with some greatly enhanced culinary skills and his dishes are far and away the best meals served here. Also, a fantastic new addition is their carrot cake! It sells out early, so don’t wait too long if you want a slice of this heavenly treat. I recommend you try Las Chiladas for some fresh and well prepared Mexican food, declicious and at the right price. James really demonstrates he takes his cooking seriously and this restaurant really benefits from his commitment to excellence.

I stopped by this morning with my kids for breakfast and it was a nightmare. Once I was finally attended to, I ordered right away. I did receive our drink order and proceeded to wait for 25 minutes and never received our 4 tacos! Tacos people. Not a filet mignon! We were very disappointed. Hope this isn’t their usual service.

The food is always fresh and good! The service is amazing. They are usually busy but they make it quick and make sure you know you are seen. They know almost everyone’s name that walks in and it’s just an all around good service and food :)

I really love there food, but if you are getting take out people have to wait about an hour. This can lose some business.

Great food(breakfast) and great service. The interior of the restaurant is that of most strip center buildings. However the information says they are expanding and remodeling in March. Will comeback.

I ate here once before and it was ok. I done in services wasn’t all that great. Food was ok. So I tried it again yesterday since I stopped at the dollar general next door. I order huevos rancheros with side of bacon. First off it was warm so by the time I got home it was cold. I live 5min away tortilla were cold. I have to say they were generous with the bacon but it was cheap bacon mostly fat. Will I go back again probably but for tacos. Oh the tamales are good.

No way. Confirmed my suspicion this morning. This place sucks! Tacos were skimpy. Ranchero sauce tasted canned. Picadillo was bland. They put pork rinds and hot sauce for a chicharron guisado taco. And the service was terrible. Multiple waitresses that took forever. Quick review. Just a heads up

This place serves some solid breakfast tacos. They also have lunch but, so far, we’ve only been here for breakfast. I really like that they have sausage patty as a taco option — potato and sausage patty is probably my favorite breakfast taco. The tortillas here are pretty good, too. Probably a notch down from some of my favorite places inside the loop but pretty good for the ‘burbs. However, they sometimes mess up my order. I really hate it when I get home and unwrap the wrong tacos! 4 stars for the tacos — minus one for messing up my orders. Good tacos but, if you’re taking out, check your tacos before you leave.

This place ROCKS! Try the El pastor taco lunch special. Amazing and super inexpensive. Oh, and ask for queso dip with chicken… Double yum!

I have eaten at Las Chiladas numerous times and I have only had a problem one time. The nachos were not put together right. The enchiladas, beef taco and the re-fried beans are really good. The service is awesome and they know me well because I go there about once every 2 weeks.

My go to place for breakfast tacos in San Antonio. Cheap and tasty. I’ve had so many different kinds I can’t remember which ones. They’re all good! I like taking out of towners here that don’t know what breakfast tacos are.
