Back in 2009 this place was awesome, the tostadas were awesome. I don’t know what happened to this place The chicken tastes horrible, the guacamole is not fresh and they mix the avocado with something else so the texture its not smooth and taste funky Im really disappointed never going back

We usually come to this restaurant quite often cause the food is usually good. However 2 days ago my parents ordered me a tostada to go, I ate almost half of it. Then I realized there was a fly’s wing in my guacamole. At that moment I just felt like throwing up. I don’t think I’ll be going back to order food anymore. I just hope I didn’t eat the rest of the fly’s body. Please check your food first before you take a bite if you’re gonna eat here.

I started with an intense afternoon craving for a tostada estilo Siberia, to get my fix I drove from Boerne that same afternoon to this location. As I pull into the parking lot, I couldn’t tell whether if it was closed or opened(it was 6pm during the week). I park and at this point I’m wondering if it is open, if I should even come in. I went with my intuition and obviously my gut feeling :) I walked in and yes it was very plain as all tostada places in Monterrey are, it’s not fine dining nor casual café, it’s a tostaderia as its meant to be! If I want to enjoy ambience and environment, then I’d go elsewhere, but I wanted a delicious Siberia tostada! There was only a family there enjoying their tostadas. My order was to go, and it was just as I remember them from Monterrey, delicious!!! Even my mom who is a true Regio and picky with food, she enjoyed it very much. I visited again the following week but this time for lunch, staff was courteous, and we were served on a timely manner. Again, everything(tostada wise) was fresh and delicious. I will definitely visit again and again

I went for lunch with my sister. We obviously ordered the tostada and it was delicious! The staff was very friendly and our food perfect. I’m not sure why people are leaving the bad reviews. La Siberia is known for their TOSTADAS not so much for their other plates. The tostadas themselves were as close as they can get to the Siberia from Monterrey, Mexico! If you go, order the tostada, that is their speciality!

All meals are prepared with lots of oil, very greasy, the asada tacos, the enchiladas, I almost throw up! If you have cholesterol run for your life, not comming back ever! And not refill beverages!

Came here through a recommendation. I don’t remember who, but it was bookmarked. It’s not anymore. Perhaps for good reason. They open at exactly 11am. I walked in after burning some time at Restaurant Depot. And I was hungry. Upon walking into the really empty and non-decorated dining area. I was promptly greeted by a very nice young lady. Once I was sat down, she came out with some very tasty salsa and chips. Hence, her and the chips receive two stars. This place offers daily selected specials and I ordered the cheese enchiladas. Did not know again that it was easy to ruin just a simple plate of food, but they achieved it. The enchiladas have NOFLAVOR, the beans were runny and tasteless, but the rice. OHWOW. NASTY. Perhaps if I had a medal to be awarded to the ‘Worst rice in San Antonio’, this plate would win hands down. I did finish my food, I was taught to not waste. But it was just a bad visit. I was taking photos to post on here, since it had none. And while I was outside, a man, whom I assume is the owner. Pulled up beside me in his truck, he was parked on the side; and asked why I was taking photos and he was cool about it. Well I did not know how to tell him in Spanish, I am trying to WARNSANANTONIO not to waste their money here. It’s just bland. Very bland. Funny thing is, there is only salt shakers on the tables and not pepper.

I thought La Siberia would showcase Northern Russian cuisine– Borscht, vodka, reindeer ribs, etc. NOT the case. Although I didn’t get any caviar, it was still decent. The chips and salsa were alright, the red sauce was a bit watery, but appeared to be homemade. the green sauce was much better, spicy, hot, flavorful. My meal came with a rice soup, which was hot and delicious. I had the weirdest guacamole I’ve ever had. I dunno what was in there, it wasn’t only avocados in there. They put some other weird green vegetable in there. It was strange. Not bad, but weird. The service was rushed, and not very good, but they delivered the food quickly, and they did take care of me. It was a good value for the money.
