Ordered lunch special, ½ chicken with rice and beans with soda can and got food poisoning! Never will go back! Started cramping as soon as I was finishing my meal! Do not trust this place as my stomach is still feeling the pain from this place!

Very disappointed. A colleague told me this place was good. I just paid $ 9 for Torta & a can of soda. The Torta was mostly bread. The meat was grisly. Not much guacamole. The toasted roll was good. Very poor value.

There are no words to describe how good the chicken is at this place! Just when you think that there is no way that anyone could create chicken that is anything but boring and acceptable, this place makes grilled chicken extraordinary! Add amazing salsa, corn tortillas, fideo, rice and beans and get ready to plan a return trip. Monday thru Thursday buy a whole chicken meal, get a half chicken free! $ 17 bucks! This is one not to miss

Hands down best roasted/grilled chicken in town. Have been here about half-dozen times and every time, it is delicious. I haven’t bothered ordering anything else bc pollo is so good… and served on butcher block paper!

Really nice coal smoked flavored chicken. Seems to be a Texas chain unless they are all using the same name. Friendly staff.

Very disappointed, I give this place a try because I actually try it in Farmers Branch Tx and I love it, my brother took me there and I was all excited to try it here. The chicken doesn’t have flavor and it was cold, there famous green salsa it was way to salty. I’m not coming back at lease at this location.

Been here multiple times for the past 3 years, the last 2 within a month chicken not cooked all the way, more on the raw side… Not sure if they changed owners or what. I’m not coming back.

WoW! I loved the chicken. In fact ordered to go but could’t wait and tore open the bag as soon as i got in the car. The smell was wonderful! I absolutely loved the green salsa… avacado, cilantro. After reading the other reviews i will go back and try the baked potato and the quesadilla. Very good food, the service is lacking just a little. I recommend this place to anyone :)

#1, si, si, si… papas, si, si, si… that’s all i have to say, that’s all i can say. Literally. I do a lot of pointing and nodding of my head when ordering at the counter. The char-grilled chicken with the grilled onions and creamy green sauce… yum. But omg, the baked potato… the huge potato topped with sour cream, cheese, and what we call«steak bacon»! A must try! I would give EPR5 stars If they had flour tortillas and and indoor bathroom(scary!!).

Move over Pollo Loco. There’s a new sheriff in town and his name is El Pollo Regio. This hole in the wall gem is across the street from the historical Tip-Top Café and isn’t much to look at from the outside. Well, to be honest the inside isn’t all that great either but take one bite of their chicken and you will forget where you are. In fact, one bite will take you to a place I call Delicioso-land! The chicken is marinated in citrus juices, herbs and spices and then flame grilled to perfection. The skin gets this crispiness that just leaves you begging for more. The salsa verde is made with avocados, jalapenos and cilantro. It is the real deal. Corn tortillas were thin and had a homemade taste. The grilled whole onion they include in their orders is a nice touch and the onion is sweet and smoky in taste. I also tried a carne asada quesadilla that is probably one of the best quesadillas that I have ever eaten. Okay, so if I love this place so much, why did I just give it 3 stars? Well, there were two items that are unfortunately lagging behind on the taste of that chicken. Their rice and beans are in desperate need of some help. The rice is mushy and not really tasty. And the beans are just plain bland. I honestly think the chicken is just so awesome that the rice and beans can’t compete. If you are a carnivore like I am, then this isn’t a big issue. If you aren’t, then this place may not be for you. Regardless, get your pollo on at El Pollo Regio and tell them that Adam sent you. Okay, they don’t know me by name but if they keep making chicken this delicious, they soon will.

These guys know chicken! Quires Pollo? This is the place to go! Their menu is a bit limited, but it’s delicious! You get a great deal of delicious food for a small bit of dinero! I got the chicken quesadilla, which was yum! The chicken was flavorful and shredded, topped with a delicate Oaxacan cheese, served on a home made tortilla, home made pico de gallo, tomato, and sour cream. The salsas were DELICIOUS! There’s a green sauce, which was a bit tame, but nom nom nom– incredible. It’s avocado, cilantro, and cream. Their red sauce was my favorite. YUM! It’s an orange color, like that aji sauce that I’ve written about elsewhere. Incredible, just the right amount of heat. The kitchen looked a bit dirty, the ceiling needs to be cleaned, and many of the surfaces didn’t look too spotless, but that’s alright, the food more than made up for it. The menu seemed a bit out of date. There were many items on it that were covered up with duct tape, which I assume means that they don’t make those items any more. The pictures of the dishes weren’t the best pictures either. They look a bit out of focus, and taken in dark conditions. They should revamp their menu. This place could use some more decoration, and I wasn’t wild about the fact that the bathrooms are outside, but again, the food made up for any other shortcomings this place had. I will definitely return! YUM!

Two words Chicken and Salsa. The chicken is just char-grilled but it has great flavor! I am no chef but it is citrus and chile(anchiote). Whatever you do just make sure you get extra salsa verde. The salsa is avocado and jalapenos with cilantro. It is creamy and is great with the smokey flavor of the chicken. The have a half chicken special for lunch(under $ 7) that is great for two except you have to share the one soda.
