Both of these bakeries on culebra are the bomb! Their pan dulce can become a major addiction! The empanadas and cuernitos are sooooo delicious! You won’t be disappointed!

Yay!!! This place is awesome! Has everything you could ever think of, when it comes to a traditional Mexican panaderia! They even have homemade tortillas, yum!
We decided to go with the donuts– chocolate, glazed and sugar. Fresh, soft, homemade. Doesn’t get any better! Friendly and fast service too! Can’t wait to go back!

This is as real as you can get. Old fashion real Mexican pan dulce! Living in Dallas I have only found bakeries selling Americanized «pan dulce».
The panaderia I use to go burned down awhile back. I haven’t had any luck finding any places in Dallas. So I was ecstatic when we came across this place while visiting San Antonio.
Oh my goodness! It’s good! The empanadas are amazing. It had the perfect ratio of bread and filling. Conchas and donuts also delicious. Soft and moist. Very fresh.
The only downside… it’s in San Antonio. Tears. People in San Antonio, please appreciate this gem you have. This place is the real deal!

If you like traditional Mexican bakery fare, this is the place to go – it also does offer some American bakery items too. I’m a big fan of their tortillas — very fresh and home made!

I recall this place for years, my mom live off Hemphill and when we came to visit. she always took me and my son Eric their. Its was always clean and no flys. GREAT sweet bread/​pan-​dulce was humm good.
I will always remember this place. I now live here in San Antonio, tx. I make that drive their. It’s always fresh. Most of all Great Memories. of my Mom n Al. miss you Mom

Been coming here since I was a child. Over 30 years! Hands down the best heart sugar cookies, best gingerbread pigs, pumpkin empanadas, and my ultimate favorite are the cinnamon cookies that look like a dollop of heavenly goodness and crumbles into your mouth at every bite! I’ve traveled everywhere around the USA to find a comparable panaderia! Nobody comes close. Great food and memories of my grandparents who lived around the corner and were the first to take us there.

This is one of the best bakery’s San Antonio. Once you step inside you are reminded of the place where your parents use to take you to pick up pan-​dulce and tortillas. It offers traditional Mexican baked items, and also offers some American Items. I like the tortillas, conchas and donuts. Its very fresh and great tasting. I now frequent this place. I would also like to say the place seems clean it doesn’t have bugs flying everywhere like you see in some places around town.
